Cold. A deep, bone-chilling cold. I’ve felt it since the night I clutched my pregnant fiancée to my chest and had a pair of cold, lifeless eyes stare back at me.
My family wants me to move on. To start living again. But it’s not so easy to do when your heart and soul are still six feet under.
A second chance at love isn’t in the cards for me.
A second chance at love isn’t in the cards for me. Which is why when I meet Aria Swan in a bar one night and she offers up a solution to both of our problems, I actually consider her proposal.
I mean, where’s the harm in playing house for a bit? It’s not like I’m going to fall in love with her.
A fact that will make terminating this little arrangement at the end of the year easy.
Even if her touch has this way of melting the icy coldness surrounding my heart…
Aria
Ever had the answers to all your problems just fall into your lap? Or, in my case, have you stumbling into the solution?
I have no idea what comes over me when I bump into Santo De Bellis. Call it desperation. A last-ditch effort to pull myself out of the hole my last name has created. But all I can think is how this arrangement can be mutually beneficial.
I need a husband. Because if I’m already taken, my father can’t marry me off to the highest bidder. And if that same husband happens to be a De Bellis, well, no one is going to be stupid enough to question it.
I don’t expect him to actually agree. So when he does, I jump at the chance for freedom.
What could possibly go wrong? All we have to do is stay married for a year. It can’t be that hard. Can it?

A Sinner’s Truth finally gives us Santo’s story, and emotionally, it hits. Watching him face his grief instead of being consumed by it was the strongest part of the book, and the character growth actually felt earned. 💔🔥 Aria was a good match for him—strong, practical, and unwilling to be controlled—but the relationship and fake-marriage arc could’ve used more depth. Some big truths come out, but a few threads (especially Shelli) still feel unfinished. Overall, an emotional, engaging read that delivers growth and intensity, even if I’m still craving proper closure
Oh, Santo! Kylie, you outdid yourself with this remarkable story; it exceeded all my expectations! I adored it. Aria was such a perfect match for him, bringing out the best in him as he grappled with his past and worked to heal from his heart-wrenching tragedy. The emotions were palpable, and I could feel his struggles and eventual determination to move forward. The cliffhanger at the end surprised me, but I’m thrilled to know we'll see more of all the Brothers!
I love most of Kylie's books. I loved the De Bellis series, and I desperately wanted to love Santos story but I feel very underwhelmed by it.
Each book of the series, Santos had a place. He was crushed by the loss of his fiance, became an alcoholic, was seeing her ghost, he was a hot mess. There were secrets he needed to uncover about his fiance, which would help explain what happened to her and who she really was.
I was expecting some heavy stuff in this story, some crazy reveal regarding his fiance but it really felt drawn out at first, then rushed and was a little bit anticlimactic.
The story wasn't bad per say, Kylie writes really well and it was a nice story, but maybe just slightly boring I guess 🤷🏼♀️
I won't get into all the details aside that I feel like the ending was a huge let down. Maybe this is my fault, as I worked it up a lot in my head, maybe more will happen with Santo and Aria with their mother's story but who knows. It seems so random that he finds Oliver hiding out with an MC, they work together with the president and go and get him, suddenly their mother is alive and there, they ignore her and Oliver just has a quick death and the end 🤨.
I love Santos, but I feel like he was let down. I wish he was given a more powerful story. Maybe even two books as I feel like this entire series he was a focal point, but he just didn't get the story he deserved.

A Riveting Addition to the De Bellis Crime Family Series by Kylie Kent
Fans of high-stakes romance, morally complex characters, and page-turning drama will find A Sinner’s Truth by Kylie Kent is worth the read. This final installment in the De Bellis Crime Family series dives deep into raw emotions and the dangerous De Bellis underworld. Santo and Aria’s story takes readers on a wild ride of love and loss in the thrilling world of mafia romance.
Santo De Bellis fights his demons daily.
As the enforcer for the De Bellis family, he knows violence and sacrifice intimately. Guilt weighs on him after the loss of his fiancé Shelli, leaving deep emotional scars to match. Aria, desperate to escape her father’s plans to marry her off for his own gain to a horrid man, proposes a fake marriage to Santo. Their arrangement begins as a strategic solution but quickly transforms as passion flares and secrets unravel, reshaping both of their lives.
Kylie Kent blends beloved romance tropes with fresh twists to create a story that feels both familiar and exciting:
Aria’s need to reclaim her life contrasts sharply with Santo’s inner turmoil, adding tension and emotional depth to their strategic partnership. While Santo struggles with guilt and self-imposed penance bring a heartbreaking authenticity to his character. His grief and then subsequent anger adds layers of emotional depth, drawing readers into a powerful journey of healing. And the mafia world continues to brim with power struggles, family loyalty, and high-stakes danger, keeping readers on edge.
The chemistry between Santo and Aria bursts off the page.
Aria’s fierce determination and compassionate nature chips away at Santo’s hardened existence, exposing the vulnerable man underneath. Their relationship evolves as truths come to light, creating a balance that feels real and compelling. Supporting characters from the De Bellis family add intrigue and complexity, enhancing the main storyline with layered relationships.
Kylie Kent writes with precision and evocative power. The story moves seamlessly between heart-pounding action and emotionally intense moments, ensuring readers stay hooked from start to finish. Her ability to capture raw emotions makes A Sinner’s Truth a standout addition to the series. My only caveat is that I wish there was MORE closure with the Shelli situation. Yes, there was closure, but I was left hanging just a little bit. However, this does not detract from the overall essence of the story, and it is a personal want not a need.
Whether you already love the De Bellis Crime Family series or you’re new to Kylie Kent’s work, A Sinner’s Truth, as well as all of the De Bellis brothers, deserves a spot on your reading list. This story shows love thriving in the darkest places, redemption rising from despair, and light breaking through shadows. Santo and Aria’s journey will grip your heart and linger in your mind long after you turn the last page.
Kylie Kent delivers a gripping and heartfelt tale with A Sinner’s Truth. Santo and Aria’s story showcases love’s ability to heal and the courage needed to confront inner demons. Add this book to your collection today and prepare to lose yourself in a world of heartache, hope, and redemption.
Kylie Kent’s A Sinner’s Truth is a heartfelt exploration of love, loss, and the unexpected ways life can change course when we least expect it. Through the alternating perspectives of Santo De Bellis and Aria Swan, Kylie Kent crafts a story that is both emotionally charged and deeply romantic, weaving together themes of grief, healing, and the pursuit of freedom.
Santo is a man haunted by his past—a tragic night that shattered his world and left him emotionally frozen. The vivid descriptions of his grief pull readers into his pain, creating an immediate connection with his journey. His reluctance to embrace life again feels authentic, making his character both relatable and compelling. The depth of his loss and the way it shapes his decisions lend a poignant edge to his narrative.
Aria, on the other hand, is a character full of fire and determination. Her desperation to escape her father’s oppressive plans gives her a sense of urgency and courage that contrasts beautifully with Santo’s guarded approach to life. Her plan to marry Santo is bold, and her vulnerability is evident as she navigates the consequences of her choice. The chemistry between the two is electric, and their arrangement, while practical, quickly becomes a dance of emotions they both try to resist.
Kylie Kent’s storytelling shines in her ability to balance the romance with the characters’ personal growth. The evolution of Santo and Aria’s relationship feels organic, moving from a pragmatic arrangement to something deeper and more meaningful. The tension between their initial indifference and their growing attraction keeps the reader engaged, while moments of tenderness reveal the fragility beneath their tough exteriors.
The supporting cast of characters adds depth to the narrative, particularly Santo’s family, whose well-meaning interventions provide moments of levity and warmth. The cultural and familial pressures Aria faces are also well-portrayed, adding layers to her motivations and making her struggles feel real.
A Sinner’s Truth* is not just a love story—it’s a tale of finding solace and hope after heartbreak. It delves into the complexities of human connection and reminds us that sometimes, the most unexpected relationships can lead to the greatest healing. With its compelling characters, emotional depth, and captivating romance, Kylie Kent’s novel is a beautifully written and satisfying read that lingers long after the last page is turned.
Finally, it's Santo's story. Santo has been through the ringer from book one. The love of his life was murdered on the eve of their wedding and Santo's whole world was up ended and breaking him. Since then, he's battled with his demons.
Before it all fell apart Santo was the romantic of the brothers and the happiest. The others weren't looking for love and didn't really believe in it after everything their father did, but Santo and Shelly did have them seeing real love.
As the De Bellis Crime Family series have gone on we've learned that everything with Santo and Shelly may not have been as perfect as it had seemed. Shelly had some huge secrets that Santo and his brothers had absolutely no idea about. As the others found out they decided to keep it from Santo to try and further protect him.
Now though all the truths are going to come out. Santo is going to learn the truth and it will both further destroy him and help him to move forward.
Aria is a whole other story. The sole heir to the Snow empire she's lived quite a privileged life and though her father isn't the best he's never been outwardly cruel to her. Now though he's decided to marry her off to a man that everyone knows is not good. He treats women terribly even know for violence and she can't believe her father would force her into.
With time to make a plan she hopes to get out of it, but as the clock ticks down though she's running out of options. Her best plan is to get married. If she's married to someone else there is no way she can marry the man, her father has chosen. The only problem is she needs someone else who doesn't want to get married and won't fall in love. They also need to be able to stand up to her father and the man she supposed to marry.
She literally falls into the lap of the perfect man. Santo at first thinks she's crazy but after meeting Aria, Santo finds that he feels that spark of attraction he hasn't felt since losing Shelly. This leads to him checking in on her and when he sees them together, he knows he has to help her.
The pair make some rules, and it seems simple enough, but when a De Bellis becomes protective of you, they really become protective. Aria soon finds that Santo is not only going to help her out of her current situation, but he's also going to shake her world. While Aria tries to find her place in Santo's world, she also tries to help Santo heal and move on.
This was finally the book that gave us all of the secrets from the beginning, but just when you thought there was nothing else to learn, Kylie dropped a huge surprise and now we have one more book to go for all the truths to come out.
This was actually quite interesting. There was actual REAL character growth in this book. WHAT A SHOCKER!!! Congrads to Santo. But no plot conclusion or anything new or learnt that has been happening since the very first book. However, in this book, there HAD to be character growth since Santo needs his HEA with a live woman. So, it was a forced one. Still they were quite a sweet couple. Although, we still don't know if Santo trusts his wife and only loves her because he found out about the betrayal. This was a tacky and easy fix for Santo to move on quicker. I didnt like that at all. It makes readers think, His feelings for her aren't as authentic as they should be. Luckily, It wasn't a strong effect as this author doesnt really keep or let readers digest much with impactful and significant/touching moments. In this case, She was a success.
There's a lot still not solved and we have some cracks in the story but hopefully we understand some more in the next book. and get A CONCLUSION?? fingers crossed!! I mean someone needs to finish reading the journal for crying out loud. or is that a finished subplot/plot?? cause that will be very bad writing if it is. I believe it isn't so lets see.
I honestly thought this was the last book and unfortunately its not. lol Now that we have that plot twist/cliffhanger, I hope we can get a lot of questions answered. or even have actual character development for some characters. Though I'm not holding my breath!!
As usual the flaw of this book is the lack of relationship building between characters and the main couple. In this one, Aria never really built or made a connection with the brothers. They were strangers to her throughout the book despite the author's forced scenes of them being 'softhearted' with her. It doesn't work as they all don't know her and vice versa. At least spend some time with her. Its not that hard. She married and changed Santo so come on!
Anyways I don't know when the next book is coming out and Ill honestly don't think its worth it. If there was more of an emotional or real found family trope(instead of forced)where they actually solve their issues, grow as characters and actually help one another then I would. Have important impactful conversations between all couples but this series, and maybe this author(I'm not sure as I only read this series by her) lacks creating the connection and touching sentimental moments where I would fall in love with this found family of brotherhood and wives.
Santo, Santo, Santo. We waited a loooong time for your story. And I was not disappointed.
If you aren’t familiar with this author, then you need to know her books in each series typically overlap in timelines. They definitely need to be read in order to fully appreciate them because she typically doesn’t regurgitate things that were covered in the previous books, even if the timeline is the same.
Santo’s story was a bit different. We were subjected to the Santo / Shelli storyline pretty much in every book. In fact I was a bit annoyed by one of the previous books because it also jumped back in time about 18 months, and we had to relive all of it again. I was hesitant to even read his own actual book because I did not want to relive it all again. Blessedly, she did NOT make us go back in time to relive all of it. Again- it’s assumed you have read the previous books which covered it over and over. And to get the full impact of Santo’s spiral, you really need to read them.
I was a bit nervous also as one of my least fave things is a widow/widower trope where the partner just can’t get over their late partner. And Santo has been cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs for almost two years, still visiting his dead fiancée on the regular and actually seeing and talking to her ghost. The first few times he and Aria have any smexy time, he immediately runs to Shelli’s grave to beg forgiveness. I kept yelling for his brothers to FINALLY share the truth with him already and put an end to this craziness. Fortunately it wasn’t dragged out until the end, and like all of Kylie Kent’s men, he realized he was head over heels for Aria pretty quick.
This author is always a one click for me. A guilty pleasure read. I love this crazy world she has given us. I will continue to go back to the beginning with the Merged Series for a comfort read anytime, while waiting for the next installments she gifts us.
FMC: Aria Swan MMC: Santo De Bellis Tropes: Mafia Romance, marriage of convenience, second chance at love, forced proximity, fake relationship Setting: Melbourne, Australia
Thoughts: This was a quick read for me. I appreciated the first five chapters being a little bit of a jump back in time to show Santo’s pov over the last year and a little of Aria’s background. Santo’s story was one I’ve patiently waited for since reading A Sinner’s Promise. The death of his fiancée was the catalyst to everything that’s happened in this series and it made so much sense to wait to give him his HEA last.
I really liked Aria as a partner for Santo. She was exactly what he needed. Honest, loyal, understanding and willing to look past his dark family business. She allowed Santo the space and time to grieve and was there for him when he discovered the truths everyone had been hiding from him.
Santo had a great character arc. I enjoyed getting to see more of his goodness in his relationship with Aria. He finally got to move on from his tragic past and found the person who was always meant for him. I loved his protectiveness, even before he was willing to admit he had feelings for Aria.
As much as I loved the brothers’ stories, this seems like it wasn’t the end. There was a little bit of a cliffhanger at the end and Santo’s story didn’t really feel finished. I’m excited to see where else the De Bellis Family can go now that they’ve all found their HEAs.
"Okay, seriously, you HAVE to read A Sinner's Truth. I just finished it, and my heart is still doing that fluttery thing. You know how Kylie Kent can really get under your skin? Well, this book with Santo? It's next level.
Santo's been carrying this mountain of grief since what happened to Shelly, and honestly, you just ache for the guy. He's this broken soul, trying to navigate life when a huge piece of him is missing. And then comes Aria. This woman is fire – she's desperate to escape her own messed-up situation, and her crazy plan involves marrying Santo. Yeah, you read that right.
What starts as this totally bizarre arrangement? It turns into something so real, so unexpected. You see Santo slowly start to breathe again because of Aria, and Aria? She finds this strength in him she didn't even know she needed. Their connection? It's not all sunshine and roses, trust me. There's tension, there's this pull that they both try to fight, but when they finally let go? It's everything.
Honestly, this book isn't just some fluffy romance. It digs deep into what it means to heal after you've been completely shattered. It's about finding hope in the darkest corners and realizing that sometimes, the person you least expect can be the one who puts you back together. And that ending? Girl, it blindsided me! I was like, 'NO WAY!' but in the best possible way because now I'm dying to see what happens next with all the brothers. Trust me on this one – you'll fall hard for Santo and Aria. This book is a feeling, you know? You absolutely HAVE to experience it."
Santo’s grief is written with a quiet, aching heaviness that settles into your bones and refuses to leave. From the very first page, you feel that cold he carries, the kind that comes from loving deeply and losing everything in one brutal moment. His refusal to believe in a second chance doesn’t feel dramatic or forced; it feels earned, and that makes every crack in his armour so much more powerful.
Aria is a standout heroine. She’s smart, desperate in a very real way, and willing to take control of her own future in a world that sees her as a bargaining chip. I loved that their arrangement is born out of mutual need, not instant love. The fake marriage trope is done so well here, slow, intimate, and emotionally layered, with moments of domestic softness that sneak up on you and squeeze your heart when you least expect it.
The way Santo’s icy detachment slowly thaws under Aria’s warmth is beautifully paced. Every glance, every accidental touch, every moment of “this means nothing” that very clearly means everything is pure emotional torture (complimentary). And knowing the arrangement has an expiration date hanging over them makes the tension unbearable in the best way.
This book is a masterclass in grief, healing, and finding love after devastation. It’s tender, heartbreaking, and deeply satisfying, proving that even the most shattered hearts can learn to beat again, when they’re ready. If you love fake marriage, widower romance, slow burn angst, and men who think they’re beyond saving, don’t walk. Run. 🖤📖
Oh, Santo! 🥵🤤 Kylie Kent has completely outdone herself with this remarkable story—it surpassed all my expectations, and I absolutely adored it!
Aria is the perfect match for Santo, helping him navigate his painful past and heal from a heart-wrenching tragedy. The emotions in this story are so raw and real—I felt every struggle, triumph, and moment of determination. And that cliffhanger? 😱 Totally unexpected, but I’m so excited we’ll see more of the Brothers!
Kylie Kent masterfully balances heartfelt romance with authentic personal growth. Santo and Aria’s pragmatic arrangement blossoms into a deep, meaningful connection, filled with tension, growing attraction, and tender moments that reveal their vulnerability. The supporting cast adds depth, with Santo’s family bringing humor and warmth, while Aria’s cultural struggles feel incredibly real.
“A Sinner’s Truth” isn’t just a love story—it’s a powerful tale of hope, healing, and finding solace after heartbreak. 💔 It explores the complexities of human connection and shows how the most unexpected relationships can lead to incredible transformation. 🔥 Compelling characters, emotional depth, and captivating romance—this book has it all. If you’re not already obsessed with this series, you will be. 😜🥵🤤 The Valentino boys better watch out because these De Bellis brothers are coming for the crown! 🔥👀
I knew this book would be breaking my heart, but I never anticipated it would shatter them completely. Finally, we’re given the chance to experience Santo’s story in full. Since the first book in the series, we've known that Santo's fiancée, Shelly, was tragically murdered by his father. Throughout the other books, we've caught glimpses of Santo’s grief, but nothing prepared me for the emotional depth we explore here. The novel begins a year before, with Santo at Shelly’s grave. If you've read Vin's book, you’ll recognize the significance of this moment.
We also learn about Aria, a woman caught in a desperate situation. Her father has sold her into marriage to George Densper as part of a business deal. With only a year to go before she has to marry him, Aria scrambles to find a way out. As the deadline looms, she realizes that marrying someone else could free her. It’s at this point that she encounters Santo at a local bar. Recognizing him, she makes a desperate plea: marry her for a year, without any emotional attachment, and then they’ll divorce. Santo doesn’t accept her proposal immediately, but there’s something about Aria that draws him in. Eventually, they marry in a small, intimate ceremony, and she moves into his brother’s house. They begin navigating their marriage, despite having never truly known each other.
Santo remains consumed by his grief and struggles with his growing attraction to Aria. In turn, Aria learns about his past and is determined to help him heal by giving him the space and time he needs. But when tragedy strikes in Aria’s own family, Santo steps up to protect her, revealing a deeper connection between them.
This book is a powerful exploration of grief, resilience, and love. It’s a poignant tale of overcoming heartache, fighting for the ones we love, and rediscovering a love that can endure through the toughest of times.
As much as I though I'd love Santo's story, it left me a little underwhelmed - probably because I've built it up so much in my head throughout the series.
Santo, for all intents and purposes is an raging alcoholic as we've seen since the beginning. However, all that kind of slips away like it wasn't his whole personality for so long. The fact that he agreed so quickly to Aria's plan was shocking considering his undying love for Shelli that was the other side of his personality. The repeated back and forth of his guilt after almost every intimate moment got old real quick. When he finally learns the truth he doesn't even really deal with it, in my opinion. Then add to it all the cloak and dagger between her father and Oliver (I think that's his name) like there was something big, and bad, and sinister going on -but really there wasn't. It under delivered for them as a couple.
That being said, I adored every part that had the old characters and all the banter that comes with the De Bellis family. It was absolutely hilarious! Also, the sex on Shelli's gravestone - dark, but so, so good! The chemistry between Santo and Aria was good so the parts we did get of them together, over looking the plot holes, was good and entertaining.
Now that the series is complete - gotta say, Gabe is my favorite.
4⭐️“He is the most beautifully broken man I’ve ever seen.”
Colour. Me. Intrigued. I did not have “marriage of convenience” on my bingo card for this book, but here we are—and honestly? I loved the angle. It caught me off guard in the best way. As an avid reader, it takes a lot to genuinely surprise me, and this one absolutely managed it. I had no idea where this story was going, and that unpredictability was half the fun.
“He really is beautiful. Even with all the darkness that surrounds him like a thunderstorm waiting to break free.”
Excuse me while I simply sit with that for a moment.
There’s something unexpectedly soft and endearing about the way he calls her sweetheart and darling. Yes, I love an unhinged pet name moment as much as the next reader, but this? This was tender. Quietly intimate. And I loved that for him—and for them.
Now let’s talk about their first spicy moment because WOW. It was messy. Angry. Full of betrayal, fire, and absolutely feral energy. Not at all what I expected from Santo’s story—and that’s exactly why it worked. This wild, slightly unhinged version of him? I’m into it. Deeply.
Overall, this was a genuinely enjoyable, surprising read with emotional weight, sharp chemistry, and just enough chaos to keep me hooked. Four stars, no notes—except I did not see that coming, and I respect the hell out of it.
Santo needed a story so bad or a finish, He was heading in the wrong direction with his life and he also had alot of guilt. I really thought Sheli was killed a different way,so I was in for a surprise. Aria needed a man like Santo,it's a shame that it was only fake but it did turn out right and it didn't stay fake for very long.Oliver got what he deserved, no one messes with DE Bellis women and live with their body parts attached. Drew was a good guy and a true friend to Aria. Now to my questions! It never told who killed Aria's father,I knew that Oliver may of had a hand in it especially after what their mom said.Next if their mom was supposed be dead why did Gio get so quite and shaken, like he was hidding a secert from his brothers.Third question and the last, since the boy's father was dead, why she didn't try to get in touch with one them or Gio,is that why he is acting strange? I thought this was the last of the DE Bellis books and now I'm happy that their is at least one more,if I had to pick one I cant, they are all my favorites, they all needed a certain woman to keep them sane, not go in the dark side to far,to totally love them, need them!
All hail Queen @author_kylie_kent_! A Sinner’s Truth was released on January 1st and I devoured it in 5 hours. Kylie can do no wrong when it comes to her writing and characters. They are all perfect and this book was no different. Santo’s story is the last of the De Bellis brothers stories and you do need to read the others before diving in so that you can get the whole picture. The previous 4 books, you can feel Santo’s pain from the loss of his fiancé because of his father. This is his book about healing and coming to terms with her death. He learns lots of secrets that she kept, his brothers kept, and he keeps his own too. Aria falls into his lap, literally, and proposes a marriage of convenience immediately. As in, the proposal is the first thing out of her mouth. Aria is trying to get out of an arranged marriage by marrying somewhere else. Santo is trying to get his family off his back and make them think he is ok.
The way these two are in denial for so long about their relationship and about themselves but their families see it makes me crack up. Reading Santo’s healing heartbreak and trauma combined with Aria realizing that love is real and sex is good was so beautiful. I loved everything about them and am so happy that they got their happily ever after. Throw in the typical Kylie twist and you got another 5⭐️ rating! I cannot wait to see what comes next in this universe!!!
I was really looking forward to Santo's story in A Sinner's Truth and while it was a well written engaging book, I don't know for some reason I feel a little underwhelmed. The story felt a bit odd and very rushed. For about 60% of the book, neither of the main characters felt anything for each other except physical attraction and then all of a sudden they are declaring their love for each other? I know the author has announced that the story of De Bellis brothers is going to continue in the next book of the series and that's probably why Santo and Aria's story felt very open ended as opposed to other brothers in the series. Honestly, the relationship build up between these two wasn't very good. Half the time Santo felt guilty for being with Aria instead of loving his dead fiance. Only once he found out about her betrayal did he actively stop visiting her grave after every encounter with Aria. Even then around 85%, he mentions how he still felt guilty of being with Aria. A few pages before the book ends he mentions that he doesn't fully trusts Aria to betray him, which again was not resolved. Maybe KK plans to feature Santo and Aria heavily in the next book since all the other couples are pretty well settled and even had epilogue in their individual books.

I remember reading the 1st one and it was alright right up until the totally unecessary sexual assault of the fmc.. but I wanted to know what happened in the overall arc. I waited till this last one came out. They aren't standalones but the author spends sooooo much time rehashing and the books overlap that you don't miss anything at all and the middle books did not sound interesting to me at all. Well this one was underwhelming too but I did find out the what happened in the end and most of the story ties up in a little antclimactic bow. This one was predictable, the mmc spent so much time in love with his late fiance in all the books and in this one, I wasn't feeling the romance. This had a lot of the tropes I like, fake marriage, forced promity etc.. but execution fell flat and the spice was blah. The fmc was likable at least. Just wasn't feeling it, I hate to say this author is mostly a miss for me. I didn't hate it or love it and that's the best I can say about this author and her style of writing. It's not memorable, It's meh 🤷♀️.
☑️ Marriage of Convenience ☑️ Emotionally Closed-Off Hero ☑️ Fake Relationship ☑️ Slow Burn
SANTO, SANTO, SANTO….
When we first saw Santo in “A Sinner’s Promise” we learn about the trauma he went through when he lost his first love. 🥹 Throughout this series we started to slowly see Santo find himself again. Watching his growth was such a beautiful thing to see. 🤍 He had to learn to live while feeling like he was missing a piece of himself. Enter Aria Swan… Aria may come from a well-off family, but with a controlling father like hers nothing is ever easy. When her father attempts to force her into a marriage that she does not want 😡 she hatches a plan to find a fake husband to help her. When she finds herself propositioning THE Santo De Bellis after quite literally falling into his lap. They begin to struggle building their relationship but learn to love and find happiness together.
Kylie Kent has never let me down with a book before and she certainly didn’t let me down this time either. 🩷🩷
I really wanted Santo to have his happy ending and this was it for me. The audiobook is narrated in dual by Vincent Shabah and Maddy Withington.

Watching Santo go from a broken man haunted by Shelli’s death (which is basically the start of the whole series) and betrayal to finding purpose and love again was such an emotional ride. Aria is strong, smart, and won’t let anyone control her. Their bickering was top notch.
Overall, this book had everything: grief, redemption, passion, revenge, and a love that heals. Santo always be my favorite De Bellis. ❤️
We’ve read about Santo from his brothers books and know that Shelli wasn’t all he seemed to be……but Santo had to find that out for himself
Aria, lives on her own next door to her annoyingly best friend Drew, they are as close as brother and sister, but when Aria is told by her father that she must marry whom her father has chosen, it doesn’t go down well at all
Ari needs to find someone who will marry her for 1 year and surprisingly falls into the lap of Santo De Bellis…….what could go wrong??????
This is an explosive read and when you think one dead person has finally gone…..another one ‘pops’ up
Absolutely loving the series and lots of secrets and demons exposed to the elements of the world with the De Bellis family Meet Aria Swan her Father is Ronald Swan a business empire who's endeavours and secrets make him treat is daughter with coldness and in a 360 makes a business deal with all over Densper
Santo De Bellis embelsih the demons, tragedy and sorrow with in until one fatal evening in a bar a young beautiful woman fall into his lap and his world has been tilted upside down. Absolutely loving the series and love the characters highly recommended can't wait for more adventures
MMC, Santo is an incredible hero, and FMC, Aria is the best heroine. They both had a beautiful chemistry.
I initially hesitated to read the story because MMC had a deceased childhood sweetheart, and I typically dislike OW drama but i read it because of the author's writing skills.
However, MMC truly is the best hero. Both characters are mature, openly communicate, and resolve misunderstandings. They share their thoughts and collaboratively find solutions. That's unique.
MMC treats FMC like a goddess, and despite his struggles to move on from his past, he takes great care of her.
MMC's revenge on OW was hilarious! I never knew cemetery sex could be so intriguing. LOL.

His wife was murdered on the wedding day by his father he was lost they were childhood sweethearts to say he fell to pieces doesn't even come close she's an only child with a trust her father wants to marry her of to a slime named Oliver she needs to get out of it her dad is holding things against her she doesn't care about the money but her mum's jewellery is what she wAnts its not expensive but her mum told her it would be hers it has a photo of her as a baby and her mum then she comes up with this idea to just find some random and marry him what she doesn't expect is literally fall on him
This was the most affectionate book I've ever read! Loved it!
The way Santo was so passionate about his love for aria after everything happened with Shelli makes me think you don't only have one great love. He cared for her and helped her out even though he didn't know her. He has the kindest soul and definitely did not deserve what happened to him. and aria is so loving and compassionate. Her understanding towards Santo when he was going through hell just makes me love her more! Definitely worth the read! But start with the first book if you haven't read it already. Can't believe this is the last book in the series but I will definitely be re-reading.
I really enjoyed this book. May be one of my favourite of the series
I really liked this book and the whole series. It's so quick and easy to read that I just breezed right through it. I love how devoted Santo is to Aria and how protective he is of her. Their love is so cute and just what they each needed. I also love the whole family dynamic with the brothers and their wives. I really felt bad for Santo when he finds out his whole relationship before was a lie and how much everything destroyed him, but with Aria's help he is able to overcome his feelings of guilt and forget his hurt and pain.
