I've never shied away from the hard things in life. But falling in love with Lux… EASY has never felt so good.
Most of the guys on Palm Island call me the token straight guy. The truth is, I'm not so much straight as I'm just… nothing. Asexual, demi, the label doesn't make much of a difference to me. Totally different tone to all the other relationships in this series. This was a natural progression of the love they've always had for each other and it was ridiculously cute.

God it was so good to be back on Palm Island! I have missed this crazy gang so much, and I loved every minute of Easy Does It.
Easy and Lux are absolute dreamboats, and their story was so swoony and sweet. It was literally everything I ever wanted for them and more! So glad they finally got their happy ending!
Now if my baby Raven could have a hea that would be wonderful!!!

Another cracker in this brilliant island setting
I love that I can pick up a book in this series from K.M. and read it without having to worry about stupid unnecessary dramady or ridiculous plotline elements thrown in just for the sake of causing a tension point.
Instead, what you get is a lovely, relaxed, and steamy atmosphere with two best friends who've always had a closer than normal relationship that no-one else really understands but who know they're the other's ride and die.
Lux's sexuality has been heavily hinted at throughout the series, but here we get confirmation that he's on the asexual/demisexual spectrum, and that he's never felt the thrill or the rush of sexual attraction.
That is until a spark alights in him during a somewhat unusual event as the gang gets together to watch a porn scene his bestie Easy made when they were both still younglings.
When Lux realises it's his real name on Ethan's lips as he hits climax point, something twigs for him and he starts to feel a need to experience that situation in the here and now.
I absolutely adore the depth of friendship between these two. They really do know each other inside out, as there's always been platonic love between them from the time they first met.
Seeing the care Easy takes to let Lux just explore at his own pace is beautiful and K.M. writes his dawning sexual exploration with skill and a whole lot of kindness.
They really are a perfect match and there's no secrets between them to throw spanners in the works. Instead you get honest conversations, real feelings and a boatload of swoony romance.

I think this book may be my favorite after Hen/Storm and Goose/Pete, I hate to be that girlie but every thing with Lux and Easy was just so…easy. The ace rep was sooo good here I loved how that played out with how Lux went through his awakening. I was so happy for Easy because all that pining could’ve filled a forest 🥹 I love that there was virtually no miscommunication angst (that might be one of my most hated book tropes) they communicated like adults and just loved each other.
This book was sweet and sexy ❤️ I’m excited for Raven/Devil/Angel’s book I usually don’t read MMM but the teaser at the end really has me interested 👀

I love the way that Lux unlocks his desire and how that brings his relationship with Easy to a whole new level. This is a low angst, high heat story and gives us a great glimpse into these two besties and their forever love.
Heartwarming, sweet, steamy and fun, with great foreshadowing on Raven's book, Easy Does It was a great read and definitely warmed my heart in this frigid season.

I didn't like this book. I went into this with literally no expectations. And I ended up not enjoying my reading experience at all. I probably had read book from "Palm Island". I don't remember which book I read ( I guess it clafies that that book was also not remarkable either). I had no clue about the release of "Easy Does It". It just suddenly popped up right in front of me. And I thought maybe I should give this one a go. Mission unsuccessful though. It was a boring book from first to last. However it ended up finishing it as it wasn't a long book.

It was like reading a really dirty coming of age romance because for Lux, it was his first time experiencing any of it and for Easy, it was a dream come true.
The lowest of angst. The highest of swoon. Lux and Easy are now my favorite. Their story wrapped me up in a warm hug and gave me all the feels. These two are goals and I loved the butterflies I felt reading about them.

This barely had a story. I know this whole series has been super low angst and that’s why I’ve loved it so much. But this was so uneventful.
Easy and Lux have been best friends their entire lives. I’m not sure how they met but there’s mention of them playing together when they were 5 years old. They are now 35 years old. Lux is asexual but Easy is crazy in love with Lux and has been since puberty. Lux is super affectionate and is always touching Easy and they even share a bed. I don’t think it’s made very clear or if Lux even realized but I think Lux was always romantically in love with Easy. But Easy slept around a lot in order to distract himself from Lux. And Lux didn’t mind, he wasn’t jealous.
But then the other guys on the island find out the Easy was in a porno when he was 20 and they decide to all watch it together like a movie night. Lux is not particularly bothered by sex so he watches with them. But for some reason seeing it makes him turned on and he suddenly wants Easy. There isn’t really an explanation. He could be Demi-sexual which is on the asexual spectrum. Demi-sexual means they don’t feel sexual attraction to anyone until after a deep emotional connection is made. But Easy and Lux have had a super deep almost unhealthy codependency their whole lives so why wouldn’t it have happened sooner?
So after that they start having sex and the rest is basically history. And that happened in like Chapter 2. Since Easy was already in love with Lux and they know they get along and already live together they just start dating basically immediately and the rest of the book is just sex. 🤷🏻♀️
But I’m still giving this 3 stars because I love this series and all the characters and they’re like a family at this point. And so help me, the next book better be Raven’s!

Yay back on Palm Island!!!
I have been sooo excited for Easy and Lux because life long best friends to lovers and unrequited love is my fav in general and KM’s skill in creating amazing found family with dynamic characters is just a match made in heaven. Lux did not disappoint and he and Easy’s love for each other even before their relationship changed was beautiful! I always find Palm Island hilarious with its innuendo and carefree fun. I just love the idea of a place where homophobia doesn’t exist and the norm is a sexuality other than straight. As always the steam was steaming hot and the love was giddy butterflies with a deep soul connection. Without giving too much away the little twist with the carousel was surprising and I loved the way KM approached it! It’s no secret that Easy and Lux always were and will always be soulmates.
If there anything I wanted more of it was interaction between the locals. This one didn’t have as much of a found family feeling probably because it was tourist season and everyone was so busy but I did miss getting a real fix of my favs from previous books. They were there of course I just wanted more!
That being said, I cannot wait to figure out what exactly is going on with Raven next!!

No great big angst. No third act break-up. No emotional freak-outs. Just a swoony and dreamy love story about two of the very best friends discovering that they could have so much more.
Easy has always known that Lux was the guy. It just took Lux a little longer to see Easy in that light, through no fault of his own. The very fact that Easy was always willing to wait for Lux was beautiful. And Lux? The man who didn’t even think he could have feelings like that? Yeah, he was such a dirty talker and that was yummy. This was a great read and made me smile so many times

Back to Neuholds Palm Island childhood soul mates/ best friends Easy and Lux get their shot to be together. These two have been best friends since kindergarten, and nothing is going to stop them from being each other's person. Lux has a wake-up call and sees Easy (really anyone) in a new light, and once it clicks for these boys, it's pure magic. Nothing will stop them from being together til the day they die. A lovely read of laughter and love of this found family that will always own a piece of me.
What I love so much about this series is that the cast is all sex positive. Yes, they rib to each other for being promiscuous, but it's not hurtful it's fun, it's family. Another great addition to the Palm Islands, with Raven, Angel, and Devil on the horizon, I can not wait to see how she navigates that threesome.

Quick and simple
I’ve enjoyed the Palm Island boys and their love stories throughout the series. And I’ve been looking forward to Lux and East’s story since it was so relentlessly teased in the previous books. Who doesn’t love a good best friends to lovers, sexual awakening? However, this book is so ridiculously low angst (as in, it doesn’t exist in this story at all) and so simple in how everything falls together, it really should have just been a novella.
By the 50% mark it already felt like it could have finished and I would have been certain in the characters getting their HEA. But instead it went on and on while literally nothing happened. On top of that, the way that the sexual awakening happened and how easily the characters got together made the whole dragged out storyline of them being in their 30s before figuring things out and getting together seem super unrealistic.

On top of that, the way that the sexual awakening happened and how easily the characters got together made the whole dragged out storyline of them being in their 30s before figuring things out and getting together seem super unrealistic.

This series is honestly the best thing for me when I’m looking for an easy read that keeps me entertained and interested. I’m slowly making my way through this series and always seem to pick up the next book when I’m just lost on what to read.
This one had a bit of a different feel to it than the other books in the series and it was really nice to see. Lux is asexual which is the complete opposite to Easy (who is… well… easy). It was really interesting to see them work through it and I really appreciated Easy’s awareness of what Lux would or would not be ready for.
It was a bit slower for me for that reason but I still really enjoyed it and like the differences in stories in this series. I definitely recommend this whole series. They can be read out of order but make much more sense I think when you read from the beginning.

The Palm Island found family are back for another crazy summer season and this time Easy and Lux (both mid thirties) get their story told. These two wonderful men have been the bestest of besties for all their lives and have a deep platonic love for each other.
Lux has come to the conclusion that he’s on the asexual spectrum but his belief is challenged when he watches a video that Easy made when younger. This is a beautiful story about the fluidity of sexuality, sex positivity and soulmates becoming lovers.
It is a very enjoyable and engaging steamy low angst read with main characters that communicate and have the utmost respect for each other as they transition from besties to lovers working towards their HEA. There’s also moonlight trips to see the turtles and donuts!

Incredible, new favourite
I've been waiting for this beautiful giant himbo asexuals book and it was perfect. Everything I wanted from this adorable pair. The longing Easy has ended for his best friend, twenty years, is incredible. And I really like the way they just fall into something and accept anything they have because they are so obsessed with each other. They already know each other inside and out and they already love each other, it's just adding a new layer of relationship and a new layer of fun. The way Lux's sexuality is approached is so sweet, he is careful with himself and understands what he's feeling and what he wants, Easy is careful with him and makes sure he doesn't take anything too far. There is no third act breakup, no miscommunication - when two people are already so involved in each other it's not needed. One of my favourites of the series so far.

3.5 stars. Cute, but missing the depth I was expecting. This was all sunshine and roses and I missed a serious conversation about Lux's sexuality and the major developments of it between him and Easy.

Waow!! This was SO GOOD!!
I’ve been waiting for Lux/Easy’s story since I read the prequel novella last year and I read it their book in a day! Couldn’t put it down!! As soon as it was delivered to my kindle I was on it!
I loved the pacing, the mix of sweetness and heat, the other guys (and the new ones) and the ending was SO SWEET!! And I still love the magic of the island and Raven’s own kind of magic ;)
Argh K.M was honestly one of my favorite authors I discovered last year and I’m so thankful that I found this series once there were already 4 books out because I would have gone mad waiting for all of their stories.😅 (I have 0 patience!🤣) I read all of them in a week last September and since then I’ve been waiting impatiently for the next book! Another fun Palm Island adventure!
The relationship between Easy and Lux is so sweet to read. Lux, ace and "straight," finally finds a reason to fall for his childhood and lifelong best friend after watching Easy's amateur adult film and hearing a whispered word. As always, the characters are well-written and likeable. Lux has been one of my favorites since the very beginning, so it was awesome to finally see his happy ending. Can't wait to see where the author takes us on our next adventure.

I loved this!!! Finally Lux and Easy get a book. This is book 5 in the Palm Island series. Ahhh back to the island of love or similar facsimile 😉. There is some lovin' going on for sure.
What a fun story, loved the donut scene most of all or maybe the "Pummeler" scene. Nevermind I can't pick a favorite scene it's like asking a mother which of her children is her favorite.
Lux is such a sweetheart and it was so good to see him bursting from his cocoon and spreading his wings, metaphorically speaking of course.
Easy, what can one say about Easy? Breaking men's hearts all over the world, but giving them a good time in the process.
All these guys deserve their own HEA, looks like Raven might be next. 🤞🏻

I absolutely loved this story. We are back on Palm Island and this time we get Easy and Lux’s story. These two have been best friends since forever yet it was never the right time. This story was so full of emotion. There were lots of laughs, a few sighs and a lot of steam. The world building is so fantastic and I just want to visit with all the characters. I can’t wait to read the next story.

Palm Island is magic!!! And Easy and Lux made it so, yes I’m going for it, easy to fall in love with them. I already adored their friendship and now they’ve added to the absolute, unbreakable, and timeless bond they have, and it is divinely swoony. They will forever be my favorite smushy pair of the island.

I know I’ve said it before but each time we visit and fall in love all over again, the island continues weaving me deeper in its spell.

Easy and Lux have been friends since they were kids. Easy has been in love with Lux for most of that time, but Lux is asexual and doesn't really have those kinds of thoughts. Until they watch an old porn video Easy made, now all Lux can think about is Easy.
Easy and Lux are some of my favorite Palm Island characters, they had an easy low stress book that made for a nice quick read with no angst. I loved getting to see all the other characters and how they are doing. I can't wait for Devil, Angel and Raven to hopefully get a happy ending finally.
