Super fast paced and super steamy. 3.5 stars in total for this shifter read. Abigail was sent to Dominic to seduce and spy on him. What he was not expecting was for her to still follow through, but not for the reasons he sent her for. If you’re a fan of insta love, fated mates and shifters and are looking for a fast read, then read this series.

Part of the Shifter Obsession series each can be read as a standalone with a sexy shifter and the one who captures his undivided attention. Aubrey is sweet she loves her sister will do most anything to protect her she doesn’t like her uncle alpha of the Thornwood pack does everything underhanded very much owing him a favor is the last thing she wants but when he comes to collect she doesn’t have much choice and when he threatens her sister if she doesn’t seduce a billionaire to sabotage his next big deal she can’t let her sister get hurt but she didn’t count on her heart. Dane sexy as all get out billionaire knows there is always someone out there to take what he has worked hard for, to underhandly steal what doesn’t belong to them and when the beautiful women shows up the one his wolf won’t leave him alone about, the one who looks afraid and he knows there is more to why she is there. Instant attraction, her heart, her goodness won’t allow her to do what her uncle is demanding but she can’t fail because she knows he will hurt her sister but will she be honest with Dane, will he understand, will he protect her, her sister, will he take care of her uncle, and can they find more than dishonesty between the two of them?

Well, this is book #5 and boy it gives you everything, there's attraction, deceit, snarky fmc, unsure about her image due to being manipulated by family, love, and definitely spicey romance that comes into play.

I love that its about a plump fmc, who isn't sure about her body due to a family members snide comments throughout her life from a young age. She definitely enjoys the feeling of sexiness that the mmc brings out in her, but she hates what she has to do to him, but it's to keep her sister safe and happy.

The mmc is sexy, and desires her upon first glance and he lets her know exactly how he sees her. He tries hard to let her come and tell him what is going on but he also has a person checking into her just from how she reacts to certain things, and people.

They both realize that they are each others half and when the mmc comes to her rescue and she tells him the words that he's been waiting to hear from her it's the hea that anyone would want.

This was a two hour read for me but perfect for what I was looking for. Aubrey and Dane were both wondeful characters. Aubrey was so sweet and so worried about everything. Dane was perfect and knew she was his fated mate. The plot was interesting and well written. It had just the right amount of spice for how many pages this book was. I would read another from this author again.

What I liked- this story had the right balance of Hot and Plot, without too much of either. The book’s length was just right for the story that was being told. I found the story entertaining, and I found both MCs likable.
What I didn’t like- why do so many romance authors think that water is a good zexytime lubricant?.

Secrets & lies

A great quick read; a steamy shifter romance, with drama, twists and a HEA.

When Aubrey is instructed by her uncle to seduce Dane to win a business deal; she does so with her own aim of saving herself and her sister from her uncle. But when she realises she's more than just attracted to him she has to decide if she can go ahead with her uncle's plan.

When Dane meets Aubrey his first thought is to make her his. But when he realises what is going on, he knows he has to help and protect her.

Their fate overcomes deception

I'm enjoying this series and this is book five. Once again I couldn't put it down until I finished it. This one is about Aubrey and Dean. Aubrey is forced to seduce a stranger for her corrupt uncle, but her target turns out to be her Mate. It moves quickly and smoothly and is a great read. I really like these quick hot shifter reads. The characters are well developed and the story is well written.

Aubrey’s uncle is not a good person and threatens her sister if she does not seduce Dane and finds out his plans. This goes awry when she realizes she loves him and refuses to betray him. Lucky for her Dane realizes what’s going on and plays the jilted lover and then destroys her Uncle. Once her uncle is in prison she goes back to Dane and they live happily ever after.

A Great Storyline!

Aubrey was there to do a job, tempt Dane and find out his secret then report back to her uncle. From the moment they met, they couldn’t keep their hands off each other, could she betray him and regret what could have been?

A hot insta-love read with explosive passion, steamy moments and a HEA which will make you feel warm inside.

This is another fun addition to this series and this time we see Aubrey getting pressured by her slimy uncle to spy on Dane. He knew they were mates from the moment he met her... They were both wonderful characters and it was hard to see Aubrey suffer angst so hard about doing what was right. These two had fab chemistry and the author kept me glued to my reader to see how their story would unfold :D

Aubrey is forced to seduce a stranger for her corrupt Uncle.
This story about love at first sight. Unlike most this one i involves a level of trust for a change and I appreciated that. It gave a small twist in the story which made it better.
This is a short story, that has no excess lines but, contains all that you need to enjoy it.

Aubrey is being used by her awful uncle to get information from Dane. She only agrees to make sure her sister is taken care of. Her uncle is a huge sleaze, but she doesn’t know exactly how bad he is. Aubrey is very single-minded until she meets Dane. I like that her world opens up.
