4--Simon Says--Stars!!
I really enjoyed Katrina and Simon's story. I was glad to finally get some answers regarding Simon and well as closure regarding Katy's work troubles.
This installment had less back and forth between Simon and Katy which was a definite plus. And more steam then the last two books.
Simon and Katy both learn to trust each other and as a result their relationship really grows.
Overall, this was a really entertaining series with a little bit of everything....steam, humor and suspense!

4 SPANKING STARS
I loved where Kat and Simon's relationship went sexually. Kat came into her own choosing to believe in Simon instead of what others were telling her and revealing about him. I like how she got the truth out of him and I like what Simon revealed about her. It was smokin' HOT!
I didn't really love the takedown and the ending was anticlimactic. But I'm willing to overlook it a bit for everything else that happened in the series. This should have been one book instead of four novellas. But to each his own.
I almost gave it 3.5 stars but I'm really rating the series overall here.

What can I say! Tabke does it again in this final installment of Kat and Simon! The story picks up right where we left off in The Truth. Simon’s crazy ass sister-in-law, slash ex-bed buddy is in the kitchen with breakfast! Kat was a better woman than I ever would have been, because had that been me, well let’s just say, Knock out Kings, would have wanted to feature me on Best Knock Outs in 2014!
Yes, that’s how into the story I was! I felt what Kat felt, and I was like, “girl don’t walk away, don’t do it! Stand your ground and be all up in that crazy broads face! But Kats character handled it well, she even gave Simon an ultimatum. He didn’t like it of course but in the end it all works out for the best. We get to find out a little more about the crazy chick Amanda, and although I would have liked to see the two woman go at it, I was okay that they didn’t. But man, my spidey senses were on fire! I just kept say, “that girl is going down!”
Sadly it doesn’t happen the way I envisioned, but again its okay. There was enough drama to last a life time in The Consequence and we learned a few more things about Simon and the mysterious death of his brother Mark. This book has it all! Suspense, hot sex, drama, and OMG! MORE HOT COPS! I don’t want to give out too many spoilers here, but let me just say we haven’t seen the last of the HOT MEN OF THE BAY AREA! Tabke has promised us this and I am sooooo happy!
Did I mention that the book has some hawt sex? If I didn’t let me say it one more time… HOT S.E.X! Every woman needs a Simon in her life!
Everything ties together nicely in this last installment of this series. My only regret is I would have like to have seen like a flash forward into Kat and Simon’s future. I wanted to know what their children’s names were. What kind of wedding did they have. Did any more women come out of the closet? You know those types of things. But Karin has assured her fans that we have not seen the last of this dynamic power couple. I’m looking forward to checking in on them, and meeting some of Bay Area’s finest boys in blue!
Simon as always saves the day! Kat finds out that she can see herself with Simon in a forever ever kind of way and well Evan gets whats coming to him! THE BASTARD! This is what I love about Karin’s characters. They are so real and tangible you can’t help but get sucked into their story.

AVOID at ALL COST
This series is on a sliding scale with the first being great and the last being just meh. The first novella was awesome, hot and blew me away. The second book was pretty great. The third was just ok and this last one was pretty boring and crap.
Overall I would not recommend this series to others because 1st it should have been 1 whole book and not 4 novellas/serials. I feel really cheated for paying as much as I did for as little real content as this series provided. 2nd I knew where the cliffhangers were going to end up so either I'm really smart or that's just bad writing.
Overall I really wish I hadn't taken the bait and wasted my money after the first novella was free because the overall journey on this series just isn't worth the price of the other 3 novellas and I will really have to think hard about buying any of the future adventures of Simon's crew.

4 "You're damn sexy when you get your dander up" stars
Well, this was an entertaining series. It had a hunky, green eyed alpha cop, a sexy, modest, insecure brainy scientist, and a hot steamy undertone in every scene!
It wasn't the best storyline.. in different circumstances, Kat would have driven me to virtual drink, but this worked for me.
I found the writing flowed, and was engaging, and I was seriously drawn to Simon's attentive possessiveness.

Karin did not disappoint with the conclusion of this series. Kat finds she needs to learn to trust in her own instincts and beliefs. Her and Simon still sizzle in bed but Kat wants more. Simon still seems to be harboring some secrets but he tells Kat he has never lied to her. Find out if Cinderella gets her Prince Charming in the end. Plus meet some new sexy lawmen that work with Captain Simon West.

The book felt rushed and a lot of the secondary stuff was not fully realized. It was okay. The sex was hot but I wanted more from the stuff surrounding the main couple.

The story continues exactly where it left off in the last book where Amanda, Simon’s sister-n-law, claims Simon as hers! And I thought ugh here we go, Kat is gonna take off on him again, but NO….. she will surprise you!
This 4th instalment did not disappoint! A short read, finished it in no time… it’s fast, meaning it’ll keep you in the edge of your seat, sexy, action-packed, funny, and just.. hot!
Kat, a genius scientist with a little insecurity, whose character is just adorable. And yeah her doubts are again tested with Simon, but she’s there to stay and fight this time.
Simon, a protective, possessive hot alpha and his secrets are finally all out in this series.
Sex factor is steamy hot!
Amanda seriously needs to have her brain checked. Though I don't quite agree that her issue is a close topic, and what about Simon's niece? There is a next book right? Cause it couldn't just possibly end there, I need more!!!!
And that's beside Evan, and there's Kat's career... what's next for her?
And what about the hot and sexy Special Agent Jack Thornton, I can’t wait to read his story! But that’s gonna be another book… so yay!

The Consequence By Karin Tabke – Book 4
At the end of the Book, Karin comments that we shouldn’t say goodbye to Kat and Simon too quickly (and rightly so), who have been through a lot since they met in ‘The Dare’ and concludes their story in this book.
Though knowing there is a book 5, I am pleased to learn that this is a Christmas special and there may be more stories to follow. It also seems that Kat and Simon make appearances in Karin’s other book – Bad Boys of the Bay. Yay – because I love these two characters too!
In this story, it seems that the trials and tribulations that Katy has been through with her employers and ex married boyfriend are coming to end of this very bumpy and emotional road and the outcome is nothing short of hanging at the edge of the book by your nails.
As ever the story was gripping, steamy and well written, my only bug bear is not getting the name right! In this book Evan is referred to as ‘Stone’ not ‘Scott,’ which is a little off putting especially as Evan is a main threat in the series, hence my 4.5*!
I will certainly be reading more by Karin and I am especially pleased that she writes paranormal romance ; )

I was really excited to read the fourth & final Katrina Chronicle; this was a serialized novel and all the prior installments left big cliffhangers that made you want the next one immediately. While I enjoyed the series as a whole & am glad to see it finished, the final installment was my least favorite. Everything just wrapped up too quickly & neatly for me, and it didn't leave me wishing for more like the previous installments did. While I was a little disappointed with the ending, I did like the series & will definitely be reading more by Karin Tabke.

I love Katy and Simons story but a bit disappointed with the way the book ends, I do think there could of been another book.... So what actually happened with Evan? Did Amanda actually back off? where does Simon's niece stand in his life now? Does Simon and Kat have children? Does Kat go back to her job..... Where does all of this leave Kat with work??

I really lost any understanding to the kind of relationship Kat and Simon had. They hate each other, they don't hate each other, they love each other, they don't love each other. They feel lust for each other. Pure lust. And while their lust is sexy and tumultuous it doesn't make you think they'll make it in the long run together.
The whole investigation storyline with Evan, Kat, and the science corporations became a bit much too.

Great ending to the series!
The female character finally worked up some nerve. I like the person she became. Simon was just sexy. Evan is the villain I just loved to hate. The plot in the last book kept me on edge. Hot love scenes. Editing was good too. I've read it twice so far! Definitely worth the read. Keep on reading my fellow bookworms!

So more like 3.5 stars.... I did enjoy this last, short read in the series but I needed more again. I think I'm just plain greedy. More info, what happened to Evan, epilogue for the hot cop and katy... more on these bad guys working with Evan.. more, more more !!! ok rant over. Sex scenes were incredibly HOT!!! and the writing was enjoyable as always so a 3.5 it gets :-)

The roller coaster soars again. Loved this story. Karin did not disappoint us. Well worth the wait.

I was really excited to finally read this final installment. It's like 4.5 stars only because I'd have liked to see the end go a bit father into the future, but Karin did say there will be more. Excited for those books too

What a great end to a series. Some things that happened in this book I didn't see coming. The emotional rollercoaster ride that Katrina and Simon took was wild. I wish certain things were more drawn out. I wanted more of their story.

Hot Cop Alert!!
Simon and Katrina light up the screen with their passion and angst. I loved experiencing their love story up close and personal. There's plenty of action and intrigue to balance the screen steaming moments. Definitely worth the read!

I think of the 4 books, this was the BEST! They're all good, but this one is just something extra. Kat and Simon are in top form, and the chair scene with Simon.. GEEZUZ!!
