Wynter Daniels is a new to me author and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this first book of her Witches of Freedom Moon Series.
We have Jilly Livingston a young white witch who has been severely abused by her now ex-boyfriend Jamal who seemed to get off on beating Jilly every chance he got. She finally fleed him and wound up in Florida with a coven. Its here she meets sexy Zander Parsons who is the towns only police detective. He comes to Jilly for help in solving the disappearance of a young girl. WOW the suspense and action during this search is overwhelming and just grips you to the pages.
The book flows seamlessly from one part to the next. I didn’t get lost and the story was a very short read!! Zander and Jilly had sparks fly from the very beginning and boy does it get HOT !!!
Can Jilly finally learn to trust in others? What about her friends she has made within her new coven? We have Taryn and Haley who Jilly has befriended and they are with her little coven group. The story leaves us wondering if they will find their true loves also.

This is the first book from Wynter Daniels that I have read. I was pleasantly surprised to find an original storyline. This book is full of mystery and suspense and flows seamlessly from one page to the next. Jilly and Zander are well drawn out and full of depth as are the supporting characters.
Jilly a white witch is on the run from her psychotic ex boyfriend and the entirety of her life. What she finds is a small town, a wonderful coven and a place to call home. That is until a young girl disappears and the hot local detective enlists the help of Jilly because of her psychic powers.
When Jilly and Zander meet sparks fly. Zander has never met a woman like Jilly before. Hell he doesn't even believe in all this psychic mumbo jumbo. When Jilly breaks the case wide open, Zander is forced to believe in her!

I received this book as a gift and this is the first book I have read by this author and It was surprisingly a great book. Haven't read this genre for a while, but Wynter has me back into it.
Story is about a white witch, Lauren Picard who had a horrendous childhood in New Orleans, lost her Mom and wound up in a very abusive relationship with Jamal. She flees New Orleans and reinvents herself as Jilly Livingston and winds up in a coven in Florida and does tarot readings.
Here she meets Detective Zander Parson and they both have an instant attraction to each other. He is working on a missing girl case and Jilly offers to help with her witch powers. Will Jilly get over her fear of having another relationship, will they find the missing girl, and who is trying to hurt Jilly (suspect in the missing girl case or is Jamal back)? You'll have to read this book yourself to find out all the answers.
I loved the story and characters, has hot romance, action and suspense! I'm so looking forward to reading the next book!

Zander, the Mayor's grandson and the local lawman, is sent to see Jilly by his grandmother, who believes the girl has a gift. He reluctantly visits, then is bedazzled by her beauty. Zander resists the attraction and so does Jilly, but the urge to solve the case drives both of them to distraction in more ways than one.
This is a hot novel with edge of the seat pacing and a plot that doesn't let you down. Each character is richly drawn and believable, right down to the nagging feeling that you've met them before--or maybe it's just because you want to meet them!
Get it while it's hot hot hot! I give this book five magical stars for putting me under its spell!

Wynter Daniels has done it again. I absolutely loved this amazing read. The character development is great and the magical aspect of the story was very interesting. I highly recommend this read and look forward to reading more by this unique author.
Jilly and Zander are a hot couple who has to overcome aspects of danger, deception, past hurt, new beginnings all while trying to solve a mystery. Jilly escaped a violent relationship and reinvented herself in another state and Zander is a man that has had nothing but bad luck in relationships. These two characters have awesome chemistry from the time they meet until the end of the story. I was so engrossed in the character interaction and the storyline that I could picture the scenes as they were happening. Again a great read, you will not be disappointed.

This is the first book I have read by this author and it will not be my last!
I read many books in this genre including other witch books, but this book has an original story line that made it stand out from the rest.
The story was not rushed, the characters were believable/likable with great chemistry and the suspense of the story made the book a very enjoyable read.
I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

This was a very easy,enjoyable read. A great mystery and HOT sex, what could be better? I really like Lauren aka Jilly and Zander. Good strong characters each with their own set of skills. He is a cop and she is a Psychic and a Witch. Together they are a great team, both have had some bad past relationships and deserve a break, but I'm a firm believer in whatever is meant to be will always find a way. I do recommend this for 17 and up....some serious, crazy amazing erotic scenes! ENJOY!

What an amazing story line. There were a "few" grammatical errors, BUT it doesn't pull away from the story line at all and it doesn't interfere with my overall opinion of it. I would recommend this book to anyone who is into the whole "pagan" scene and anyone who enjoys a good suspenseful romance! Great job Wynter :-)

This was my first book by Wynter Daniels and I found it suspenseful. First we are introduced to Jilly, she has been abused by her ex boyfriend, Jamal, and leaves him. Forward to a new town and we meet Zander the local police detective in the small town. Zander is skeptical of Jilly's abilities but asks for help on a case anyway. The chemistry between them is undeniable. The author keeps the suspense going right to the end. I loved this book and Wynter Daniels is a great story teller, never giving to much away to soon.

She has changed her identity and has become part of the Freedom Moon Spiritualist coven of white witches, where she has found friendship and acceptance while being able to maintain a low profile to ensure her ex- can’t find her. When local detective Zander Parsons seeks her out to help find a local missing teenager, she knows she must risk her safety and do whatever she can to help the missing girl. What she also finds is that she is also risking her heart when it comes to Zander- the attraction between them is electric, but she knows how risky a relationship with the sexy detective might be.
Jilly and Zander were hot together. You could literally feel the sparks come off the page when they touched. And those erotic dreams that Zander was having had my kindle sizzling. I loved how real the relationship felt between the two, it’s so nice to read a story where the drama levels are kept on the low side. That doesn’t mean that there wasn’t a lot of emotion in the story – between the search for the missing teenager, Jilly’s stalker, and Jilly having to come to terms with her past, there was enough angst to keep you turning the pages. I loved Zander’s take charge attitude and how protective he was of Jilly. She was so concerned about what people would think of her if they knew about her past, and his reaction as she revealed bits and pieces to him were wonderful.
This was another great read with romance, action, suspense, heat, and a paranormal element. I am always impressed how Wynter Daniels does such a good job at balancing the magic and the romance/suspense in her books, which makes them great reads for fans of either genre. Both books in this series have done a great job at having just enough of all the elements to keep you engaged throughout the story. Another great read!

This is a fun read with more then a romance - it has a great plot. Wynter Daniels has created another spunky and unique heroine.

This is a good story with a nice, steamy romance. I think it would be horrible, first of all, to have to escape a man who is supposed to love me. Secondly, to have to live in fear every day of being discovered would make tension your constant companion. Jilly Livingston respects and uses her psychic ability. However, using it to help local police detective, Zander Parsons, could be disastrous. Still, she doesn't want to leave someone who's missing in danger. She's facing a frightening dilemma.
Wynter Daniels scores five stars with this delightfully erotic paranormal romance. I predict you'll enjoy it.

This is my first book by Wynter Daniels and she had me from the start. This book has intrigue and mystery as well as new love. Jilly , a white witch, is in hiding from her past and on the run when her life unexpectedly gets intertwined with detective Zander (love that name) Parsons. There the sparks begin, yet their is danger lurking. A girl is missing, there is murder and who is lurking in the dark after Jilly. A great read you won't be able to put down!

I really enjoyed this first book from Wynter Daniels. I know it touches base with a tough subject, abusive relationships but it is good to have them be discussed and get a look into how it effects a person mentally and emotionally. I loved Zander, he is not your typical detective. He has his own issues that he deals with. But then he meets Jilly, who he doesn't believe. But through a string of events they become what the other one needs. I am looking forward to book 2!

Hidden Magic (The Witches of Freedom Moon, Book 1) by Wynter Daniels is a steamy contemporary interracial romance suspense. If you like the TV show Charmed, then this book is for you. Scenes depicting domestic violence may trigger some readers. I look forward to reading more books from this author. Thank you Wynter Daniels for my free e-copy.
