About the author

Akira Toriyama (鳥山明) was a Japanese manga artist and character designer. He first achieved mainstream recognition for creating the popular manga series Dr. Slump, before going on to create Dragon Ball (his most famous work) and acting as a character designer for several popular video games such as the Dragon Quest series, Chrono Trigger, and Blue Dragon. Toriyama came to be regarded as one of the most important authors in the history of manga with his works highly influential and popular, particularly Dragon Ball, which many manga artists cite as a source of inspiration.
He earned the 1981 Shogakukan Manga Award for best shōnen/shōjo manga with Dr. Slump, and it went on to sell over 35 million copies in Japan. It was adapted into a successful anime series, with a second anime created in 1997, 13 years after the manga ended.
His next series, Dragon Ball, would become one of the most popular and successful manga in the world. Having sold 260 million copies worldwide, it is one of the best-selling manga series of all time and is considered a key work in increasing manga circulation to its peak in the mid-1980s and mid-1990s. Overseas, Dragon Ball's anime adaptations have been more successful than the manga and are credited with boosting anime's popularity in the Western world. In 2019, Toriyama was decorated a Chevalier of the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres for his contributions to the arts.
In October 2024, Toriyama was inducted into the Harvey Awards Hall of Fame.

Bagarre contre végéta san goku puis san go han. Quasi victoire puisqu’il fuit mais beaucoup de mort et plus de dragon ball parce que dieu est mort. Donc ils veulent partir sur la planète Namek pour en retrouver. elle a eu un cataclysme climatique mais va mieux (?) ils trouvent le vaisseau avec lequel piccolo et dieu sont arrivés et arrive à le faire marcher grace à Popo.

Rien de plus mais bon divertissement : que demander de plus à un volume de DB ? Franchement ?
Je suis toujours un peu perdue de cet univers qui reste en fond de mon univers de lecture. Mais je ne suis pas sure qu’il faille absolument tout saisir et tout suivre : le graphique porte suffisamment les personnages pour que je n’ai pas besoin de tout leur background

Your Name chi? Il miglior scambio di corpi del panorama fumettistico/animato giapponese è dentro a questo volume di Dragon Ball!
Crilin, Gohan e Dende riescono in extremis a evocare il drago e ad esaudire parte delle loro richieste. Mentre Goku è di nuovo in "panchina", devono confrontarsi con la furia di Freezer, privato del suo sogno per mano loro. La lotta è disperata, lui è troppo forte, ma quando tutto sembra ormai finito, arriva Piccolo… fin troppo ottimista e sicuro di sé.

Un tome excellent, depuis qu'il a installé cet arc Toriyama dans ce tome nous présente un très bon volume bien rythmé, entre combats et stratégie le retour mythique de Piccolo à la fin du tome ohlala les feels Toriyama arrive grâce à son dessin à nous retranscrire l'action comme si nous l'avions en face de nous, mon tome préféré pour le moment !

This moves soooo much quicker than the anime. You barely remember bulma is on Namek whereas the anime is namek living with Bulma featuring a goku Vs Frieza cameo for 0ver 9000 episodes.

Otro tomo en el que Vegeta no se entera de nada, me encanta.

No recordaba el papel de Nail aquí y me ha gustado. Tampoco recordaba el poder de Dende, así que ha sido tan sorpresa para mí como para Vegeta, que ha dejado pasar una buena oportunidad de lo pasmado que estaba XD

Y Vegeta ha salvado a Gohan, aunque ha pasado bastante desapercibido. Es como muy tsundere, va de malote por la vida pero ya se está ablandando :D

Los secuaces de Freezer son todos muy pesados y ninguno es nada carismático, así que casi parecen de relleno.
