Ironie, sarcasme et un vrai don pour représenter la vie sous différents points de vue rendent les dessins très originaux de Dirk Verschure totalement irrésistibles. En effet, si la vie ne coule pas toujours dans le sens qui nous souhaitons, parfois la capacité de l'affronter avec le sourire se révèle être vraiment thérapeutique ! Un sympathique volume de BD animé par les dessins truculents et les textes souvent décalés de Dirk Verschure. Les dessins sont en N/B mais de temps en temps, jaillit soudain, une touche de couleur qui éclaire la page et la rend encore plus captivante.

This went from a 4⭐ to 1.5⭐ after rereading it.
I bought and read this book when I was younger, and dealing with both depression an anxiety. The humor present in the majority of this book felt somewhat cathartic and helped me feel a little less alone. The problem is I grew up, and I now deal very differntly with those kinds of feelings, and weirdly enough rereading this brought me back into the mindset I used to have back when I was younger, it was not pleasent. Of course it's not the book's fault and I personally really like the art style, but I doubt I will read this again in the near future.

The drawings are very good, the little strips are sometimes laugh-out-loud funny and sometimes knock-you-down deep. A good mix.

This book is so much fun! Just got it for Xmas and loved reading it right away. Some pages are fun/cool art, and some are hilarious comics.
