“Mine” One day I’m gonna marry you”

Dark Innocence by Madeline Pryce

If you had the opportunity to read Madeline Pryce’s Dark Cravings book #1 of this delicious series you had the pleasure of meeting some absolutely Alpha, hot, sexy characters, and you got a little background about Hannah who is Ella’s sister.

So Dark Innocence in theory is the novella about Hannah and a OMG Hot Hot Hot, protective, possessive Lion Shifter Dante. I’m telling you I fell in love with Dante in the first book. Don’t ask me why but just something about him made you want to just melt into him. That’s how this entire read is.

Hannah who was cursed with an eidetic memory (photographic memory) remembers every single thing in her life. Everything down to the last detail. After being abducted and tortured by Lizbeth Hannah took a spiral downward trying to numb the pain. She turned to drugs, alcohol and meaningless sex to try and wipe her mind of the horrible event. Two good things about that night were Dante and Ella. As horrific as the scene was from Dark Cravings Hannah was rescued by Ella and Dante and from that moment on you got the feeling Dante would never ever let her go. As Dark Innocence opens Hannah is at a Frat Party getting banged my some meat head. She more or less is in a Zombie state between the drugs and alcohol, she could feel nothing. When all said and done she ran from the house and the first person she called to come rescue her since she was to drunk and drugged to drive was Dante and the love story begins.

Hannah always was infatuated with Eli and I really thought the two of them would get together. But when certain scenes in this book played out Hannah quickly figured out what she felt for Eli and what she felt and got from Dante were totally different. She needed her lion, she needed Dante. He saw her differently than most and treated her differently. Not like a porcelain doll on a shelf. Don’t get me wrong he was super protective and possessive of her but he held back. In one part where she makes up her mind to go seduce her Lion what she thinks is rejection is pure will power on his part. My heart broke for both of them. When she runs from his house and ends up in an accident because someone tampered with her brakes Dante explained why he resisted. I’ll clean it up a bit “She deserves better than a (here’s the clean version) quick roll in the hay. My heart melted.

I could go on and on but I really don’t want to give the story away. You need to read for yourself and feel all the emotion put into their story. I will say one thing however, a spoiler or not here goes: When Hannah and Dante were going on their first official date to the Vault (where he worked) they were attacked and shot at. Right there I held my breath thinking no this isn’t happening. Dante and Hannah were taken captive by her stalker and Dante drugged and thrown into the trunk of the car. What happened next had me fist pumping like crazy. And yelling you go girl. Hannah found the opportunity to use her training and attacked her captor. She even broke his neck. When the world turned black around her she found herself waking up in a warehouse and all the torture came rushing back. She saw Dante suspended and Vampires biting and drinking his blood. Dante was able to stave off some but they kept coming. It was here Hannah again pulled her strength and actually killed a vampire and tired to assist Dante with the battle when he was finally able to shift to his Lion. What happened to Dante choked me and my eyes started to well up with tears.

But in the end, yes in the end all turned out good. I so want more of Hannah and Dante.
Madeline Pryce I’m so glad I bought this series. I give Dark Innocence 5*, if I could give it higher I would. BUT I don’t want to wait until summer for Dark Secrets.

I wasn't as impressed with this second book. It just fell short for me. I think maybe the couple that paired up wasn't who I thought or would have liked to have seen since in the first book there was a strong connection between them. I know, its life, really.

The first book was perfection, well almost - ending was iffy, but the ride to get there was worth every bit. "Dark Cravings was so good in fact, I think that the bar was set too high for the second to reach.

It wasn't a bad book though. It is a good read for any type of mood, just not as stellar in my opinion. I expected more from the Lion shifter, more power, and fury for fight. I also felt that there should have been more to the claiming at the end than there was. Needed more of the "You're it for me baby... FOREVER... MUHAHAHAHAHA!" But nope it ended as though they were signing some HIPPA Law Agreement or reading the instruction manual for a Maytag Refrigerator.

I still love the first and I will read the last book all the same. I like this author’s writing a lot and I hope to see more of her works out there soon.

Lose the narrator you have for "Blood Lust Rising. I wanted to get the audible but the narrator made it a really big "NO" when I reviewed the sample. She read in a tone that did not match (at least in the sample audio) the character. Came across as being too uptight and strict, as a matter of fact dialog.

I know you might not have a say so in these matters but a Robert Petkoff (5 star and narrator of the "Immortals After Dark" series by Kresley Cole), or even a G.C. VanCloudts, ("His Purrfect Mate" by Lauranne Dohner) would do. Maybe even a Jill Redfield, in fact... She would be perfect for this title (narrator for "Feral Sins" by Suzanne Wright). Just not the Liona Gem currently narrating for "Blood Lust Rising"... or the Olivia Cunning (She's good but too classically classy for this title.) Just thought I would mention it.

If I could give this book a higher star I would. I eagerly awaited this second book as soon as Dante was introduced in Dark Cravings. His dominance is undeniably sexy and to boot, he can shift into a Lion.

After helping save Hannah from Lizbeth's clutches Dante becomes the one Hannah turns to when her life starts to spiral out of control. Her friendship with Eli on edge and unsure of who she is Hannah takes to partying, pill popping, and sex with whoever is available.

Dante, the strong and beautiful Lion shifter has become the strength and friend Hannah has needed these past months. Meanwhile keeping his lust for her at bay.
When a night of partying and sex has taken its toll on Hannah, and her stalker calls once again, freaking Hannah out she has no choice but to call on Dante and he is adamant that it is the last time.

As the story unfolds Hannah becomes the target of an unstable stalker and he will go to any length to get her. She struggles with her photographic memory and the haunting images of the night she was taken and tortured while hoping that the feelings she has for one man are reciprocated and she is finally able to give all of herself to him.

Though we don't get much Ella and Micah they are still a strong couple in this book. As is Eli.

I'm waiting on pins and needles to read the next story!!!! You rock Madeline!!!

Awesome, Spectacular, Tremendous! This book has totally surpassed my expectations and they were high as I rated Dark Cravings 5 stars. Dark Innocence was even better. This book is so well written the author is able to draw you in from the very first page and keeps you turning the page till the last. I was so engross we could have had an earthquake and I would have just taken my tablet and moved under a doorway and kept on reading. The interacting between the main character sizzles, but it also makes your heart catch. Some of the supporting characters bring some very interesting scenes to this book that will make you laugh and stand up and cheer.

Micah has been dethroned and Dante has been crowned king. He is the ultimate in male heroes. Just thinking about him makes me sigh and not just from his looks. The way he treats Hannah is enough to make me weep with jealously. Then there’s Hannah she’s not the brilliant, insecure, air head from the first book. Unable to forget one second of the pain and torture she’s endured she’s on a downward spiral of drugs, booze, and meaningless sex. Dante is the one to give her the desire to find the strength within herself to pull out of it.

All in all I give this book a six because it was beyond amazing.

Dante is such an alpha beast when it comes to Hannah, "and you," he said, nostrils flaring, "are the most infuriating woman I've ever met. You drive me effing crazy." He cupped the back of my head and yanked me against him. Before I could ask what in the hell he was doing, he grabbed my hair, pulled so my face tilted up and smashed his lips against mine." I loved the chemistry Hannah and Dante have:
"I'm thinking," I whispered and fought my grin, "about your nuts." I lifted my leg to knee him in the groin.
Deep rumbling laughter rang out and Dante batted my knee to the side. He grinned down at me as we circled each other. "Careful, darlin'. You might not want to injure that."
Hannah she can be so cute at times without realizing it she knows how to drive her man crazy, "you're completely naked under that scrap of material?" He came up behind me and the heat of his body lined my back. He pressed his erection against my a**. "Are you trying to kill me, or is it just accidental?" I always love the books and the authors that Ellora's Cave publishes. The books are filled with so much naughtiness you can't help but love them.

Wow! I had a huge crush on Dante in the first book and now I love him! This novelle is crammed full of action, intrigue and hot lion loving! Hannah experiences a truly horrible event and tries to numb her pain through anonymous sex, drinking and drugs. Dante reaches out to her and is able to pull her from the abyss. He shows Hannah that she is much stronger than she or anyone knew.

I loved the relationship with Hannah and Dante. I really liked the protective instincts of Dante and he was a super hot Alpha male. I did feel a little sorry for Eli but I am hoping his HEA is next.

After Dark Cravings I just had to read the next book! Once I read a book in a series or even a stand alone that I LOVE I have to buy all the other books by an author lol. Then you will find me in a cave for the next week reading nothing but them. It's a great diet plan ;)

During Ella and Micah's struggle to stay together there was repercussions. People were killed and some were tortured beyond imagination. That person just happened to be Ella's sister Hannah. Hannah was a beautiful, slender, model like woman. Although younger she was taller than Ella and was sheltered from the violence growing up. The sight of blood and Hannah would hit the floor in two seconds. But what she had gone through had broken her spirit. Haunted by her tormentor she buried her anxiety and fear through drugs, alcohol and meaningless sex. There were plenty willing to help, but she never felt anything. She was numb.

Dante, a lion shifter, was a friend of Micah's and worked at a Demon club the Micah frequented. When Micah was forced to be by his brothers side he asked Dante to keep watch over Ella. Dante didn't know that night would lead him to a bruised, bloodied, and frightened Hannah. Since that night he swore to protect her and keep watch over her. Even if that meant keeping his attraction at bay while picking her up at parties that she was too messed up to drive home from.

Hannah felt like a burden to everyone. Being around them was only a constant reminder of what happened to her and that she was weak. She put a wall up and with that she kept them in the dark about the mysterious phone calls that would happen every night from a restricted number ,and the creepy man on the other side that said she was his.

When heading home from what Hannah saw was another embarrassing moment she was faced with the fact that this restricted number, or Mr. Restricted was getting serious. He knew what she had done, where she was and what she was wearing! Dante immediately knew she needed to be by his side. Time was up and he was going to lay everything out on the line to protect her.

Can I just say I want to snugglefuck with Dante?! Just one night, that's all I am asking. You can feel his presence come out of the book and wrap you into this ball of sexual energy!! Seriously! I had even told my husband I have found what I wanted him to be in the paranormal universe lol

Madeline again brings her "A" game to this and if I could go higher than 5 *wink* I would! Hannah and Dante's story is intense. You can't help but feel Hannah's hopelessness and lost from her tragic experience, but you can also feel her character grow throughout the book as she heals and finds herself again. The sexual tension is amazing and the scenes are drool worthy! Dante is sexy as hell and I am going to have to say he is sexier than Micah right now but I know there is another book coming out so we ill have to see what Micah brings to the table!!

5 *WINK* READ!

I just finished reading Dark Innocence (Dark #1.5) by Madeline Pryce and I have conflicted feelings. I’m not sure if its because so many years have passed since I read book 1 Dark Cravings (Dark #1)by Madeline Pryce ( May 2012), or because I've read so many great PNR stories since I first discovered this series.

I didn't like Hannah’s character, I understand she’s had some tough times, and issues like that just don’t disappear, but the way she dealt with her issues with self medication, random sex hookups, and alcohol made it hard for me to respect her and want to support her efforts. I liked Dante, and really wanted to know more about him being a lion shifter, I had wished he had a more vital role in the story other then stud, sex god.

I even question what the actual plot of the book was. Was it Hannah’s efforts to hookup and be Dante’s girlfriend / significant other, or was it her efforts to fight off the mysterious “restricted” person, or was it about Hannah coming to terms with her issues and doing something positive to move forward and grow as a person?

The writing was choppy, I felt info was left out only to be referenced later, the connection between Hannah and Dante was more sexual than anything else (although there were a few good conversations between the two that actually shared info that helped the story along). The appearance of the mysterious “restricted” was quick, shared little info as to why he wanted Hannah , no back story on him and his small group of vamps. And then he was dispatched just as quickly and with little fanfare.

Overall the sex scenes seemed mechanical, lacked passion, desire, and a believable connection between Hannah and Dante in my opinion (I almost felt like Hannah in the opening sex scene with the frat boy, staring at the ceiling, hearing the headboard go thump, thump, thump) The time span of the story was just a few days and I felt like this was just a story about a successful hook-up. I didn't get the feeling that the overall books story line made any progress, or where it was going.

Not even the supporting cast, of Ella, Micah and Elijah could save the story for me. Sometimes I just have to admit not all books are for me, and that the book might be fantastic and I just didn't see it

This book was provided by NetGalley on behalf of Smith Publicity -- Ellora’s Cave Publishing Inc. Romantica, for an honest review.

For me this was a two star read

Having an eidetic memory isn't always a good thing especially when you have been tortured. Hannah will do anything to escape those memories including drugs, alcohol and meaningless sex. With one phone call, she finds herself back in the safety of Dante's arms. Cleaning up her act she knows no one can except her, flaws and all but the sexy lion shifter. As Hannah builds her relationship with Dante a new threat emerges, and it may take all she has to save herself and the man she loves.

I didn't know nor had I read the previous book but in reality it didn't matter. Holy sexy shifter, I loved this story! The story starts out confusing with Hannah being a hot mess on her self-destructive path. As the story progresses you begin to understand her actions. In comes in Dante, her savior, her rescuer and all around hotness (Pauses to wipe drool). Yowza what a man, lion, shifter! Back at her sister's home, we get to encounter several great secondary characters I assume from said previous book. I will say this, I so wanted to kick Eli's butt for being such a jerk. As for the antagonist, there are plenty of twists to the the story line that kept the book from being all vampy and smutty. And while we are on the subject, let me say the author not only created some really hot scenes between Hannah and Dante that certainly burn up the pages but she did it with tasteful style. I was hooked from the very beginning, devouring Dark Innocence in a few hours. Between the characters, romance and plot twist, my only complaint would be I wish the book was longer because when I reached the final page, I found myself begging for more.

I'm so glad I discovered author Madeline Pryce. She has a way with words and writing that keep me flipping pages without pausing for anything. Any fan of hot PNR is going to love her books. But for now, I highly suggest reading Dark Innocence because if you aren't, you are really missing out on a really juicy story.

I was provided a copy of the book for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review in any way and the opinions of this review are all mine.

Wow!!! I read this in one sitting and I tell you - Authors wander why we fall in love with fictional characters, they put them forth so well leaving us pining for our real live smexy men.

Dante what can I say !!!!!

Sexy as sin - LION SHIFTER ** Do you hear me Roar **

Read the blurb to the story it will give you a good indication of the story line. It is a novella short in length but certainly filled to the brim with all that one could want in a paranormal romance.

I must say I was drawn into this story from within the first chapter, enthralled - and intrigued... The Chemistry between Hannah and Dante was sexy as sin. The romance and passion was electrifying - I’m sure my reader was wafting with steam from the pace I read this in... argh ! COMBUSTIBLE !

On first encounter with Dante in book one, I had to say I eagerly looked forward to more .

The storyline had me hooked from the start and I had myself finished and wanting more...

Dark Innocence is filled with Action, mystery, kick arse characters, romance, hot smokin loving and a crisp well delivered story... This writer makes me turn all shades of pink ;)

I really enjoyed all the characters in Dark Innocence - the author shows us definition and depth within all of them. Even the bad ass ones. We see previous characters from book one which of course gives the storyline a familiar feel.

Overall, this story line was definitely Captivating - sexy, kept us on the edge of our seat and contained saucy scenes that will not only have you hot under the bed sheets, but your heart will be racing and blood pumping...

If you like your shape shifters sexy - you’re reads hot - and your toes bunching and eyelashes curling then this read is for you! It will leave you starry eyed and wanting more.

A Must read second installment in the series !

Can’t wait for more of this authors work. She writes devilish romance with that sinful spark that every romance reader enjoys !

Dark Innocence opens up with an eye opening chapter that brings you into Hannah’s frame of mind. You quickly remember why she tries to forget and understand the want and the need to be numb, though with her eidetic memory every painful moment of her kidnapping is forever etched in her brain, forgetting isn't an option. It is so well done and she puts the reader in Hannah’s head so much so that you feel squidgy when reading her self-abuse moment… you hate to see someone hurting and she writes so well you SEE it, feel it!! Hannah calls Dante to pick her up after another failed attempt to forget and this time it was a changing point for them both.

Hannah Grey of course is the sister of the new bad ass Queen of the vampires and she is feeling pretty useless and weak when she looks around at all the strong in body and mind people around her. After Dante’s rescue and his telling her she is done abusing herself this way she straightens herself up. When a few days of being sober passes she and she sick of what she had done to herself. She is irrevocably changed after her kidnapping and wants to be seen as strong and capable, but she also sees something else she wants… she wants Dante.

Dante beats himself up for not being able to save Hannah those weeks ago. He picks her up when she needs a ride or listens when she needs to talk. He has become her friend and protector. He wants Hannah but he doesn’t want to be used to forget like the others. If they get together it will his way, on his terms.

Dark Innocence has so many hot moments and heart pounding scenes. Throw in a stalker that wants to lay claim to Hannah and Eli who doesn’t know what he wants and this book will keep your eyes glued to every word. If your able to put it down you are a stronger person that I. It kept my chest constricted with so many emotions from the very first paragraph that I was barely able to breathe until the very last sentence!!

Woot!! Madeline Pryce has done it again! Dark Innocence is the second book in her Dark series and it absolutely compliments the first book, Dark Craving.

In the second book we get to witness the connection between Dante, a shapeshifter, and Hannah, an eidetic book nerd, turned party girl. These two characters and their story is so different than the two main characters in the first book.

The first book left off with Hannah struggling to overcome her kidnapping and attack. In Dark Innocence she tries to help alleviate the pain and memories by sleeping her way through a bunch of guys on campus and starts using drugs. She is extremely emotionally damaged. She hits rock bottom and calls the one guy that has helped her through her issues, Dante.

Dante has watched over Hannah since the night he rescued her from her attackers. He cares for her but hasn’t made his move because he felt she needed to work through her problems on her own. He also thought she cared deeply for someone else. One night he finds Hannah in his bed and his control snaps. Although he unleashes his possessiveness he is still gentle and patient with Hannah, something that she desperately needs.

Oh my God, the passion between these two blew my mind away and had my panties in a perpetual need of changing. Dante is a possessive dominant man that likes his dirty talk. Hannah is a woman that knows just what he needs and gives it to him. Together, they totally obliterate the sheets.

I absolutely loved Dante and want him for my very own. Hannah made me want to crawl through the pages and give her a great big hug. These two totally compliment each other. As with Dark Craving, Madeline captures your attention in Dark Innocence and knows how to keep it. At times I laughed, at times I was sad, and at times I wanted to rage. I can’t wait for the next in the series!! A highly recommended read!!

I didn't think I could love a book as much as I loved Dark Cravings, but I was wrong. I also didn't think Madeline Pryce could get me to love characters more than Ella and Micah, but I was wrong again. From the first chapter I fell head over hill in love with Dante. Oh my goodness! He is the totally package. Not only is he a sweet and gorgeous shape shifter, but he is bad ass and will do anything to protect his lover.
Before this book, Hannah is in the shadows behind her sister Ella. No one thinks Hannah is tough enough or has what it takes to defend herself not to mention others. In this book you see Hannah in a totally different light. Hannah is not the shy, scared girl she was in the first book. This Hannah is balls to the wall and is spirally out of control. Hannah is all about drinking, getting high, and having sex with different men. She is coming into her own skin and finding her own voice as well. Everything changes in Hannah and Dante's world when they find out they share more than a friendship.
Dante and Hannah's relationship really complement each other. They have a relationship that makes you extra jealous. The passion they share and the fire they have to keep one another safe is remarkable. I thought this book was Amazing. It has the paranormal element with shape shifters and vampires yet its got everything you would need in a sexy romance novel. This books make you just say WOW let me cool off for a minute. Madeline you have done it again! I cant decide which book I like best, but all I know is I am dying to get my hands on Dark Secrets. I cant wait to see where this story goes and the twist and turns it takes. If you want a book that has it all, this is the series to read.

Dark Innocence is Madeline Pryce's companion novella, which follows Hannah after her ordeal at the Vampire Queen's hands. Hannah is a shadow of the person she was; physically, mentally and emotionally she has been destroyed by the cruelty of LisBeth. Hannah finds herself unable to trust, using sex, drugs and alcohol to numb her pain but reluctant to return to the house where she now lives with Ella, which once belonged to the Queen.
Hannah has been seeking comfort from Dante as a friend, their fifteen year age gap preventing her from pursuing the relationship she wants, but after her life is threatened again, it becomes inevitable.
The sex scenes in Dark Innocence lack the roughness of those between Micah and Ella, but I think Madeline Pryce has tailored them perfectly, as they build in intensity and power.
I admit that I had always presumed Eli was Hannah's mate, though clearly Dark Innocence proves me wrong. I am, however, saddened by Eli's mental state and hope that Madeline Pryce might write Eli's story soon?
The author continues to build the mystery surrounding Hannah's stalker; enthralling the reader in the action and excitement of the story and surprising us with Hannah's maturity, both sexually and physically as a fighter.
Dark Innocence is a paranormal novella packed with more Madeline Pryce awesomeness; shifters, vampires, battles and eroticism! What more could a girl want???!

*Contains spoilers from DARK CRAVINGS*

After her torture at the hands of the old vampire queen, Hannah would do anything to escape the memories of what happened to her. This leads her on a path to drugs, alcohol and sex. No matter what she throws at herself the handsome Dante is always there to pick her up. When she is targeted by a deranged Vampire hell bent on turning her into his new queen Dante is once a gain there to keep her safe.

We were introduced to both Hannah and Dante in book 1 of the Dark series. We know what Hannah went through and we watched a bit of the bond form between the two after the events that occurred. When I saw that book 2 would be about these two I was a little bummed because I really wanted more Ella and Micah, but after reading DARK INNOCENCE I was left glad I was able to watch their story together begin.

The romance between the two was fast and furious. The scenes were steamy and full of feeling. We got to watch Hannah come out of her shell of despair and we learned about who Dante really is. Although the book was focused on them we still got a few scenes with Ella and Micah.

Another fast paced, easy flowing story with plenty of romance and danger from Madeline Pryce. It was really nice getting to know Hannah and Dante and I look forward to seeing them in the next book, even if they aren't the main characters.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

Dark Innocence picks up where Dark Cravings left off and is about Hannah and Dante. I loved Dante in book #1 just because he said "darlin'", that word just melts my heart! This novella sheds light on Hannah and all she has gone thru and is going thru. Dante just makes your heart melt, he is so loving and caring and when he shifts you actually can "feel" it, well, at least I can. Madeline is such a gifted writer, she draws you in and keeps you right there in the moment.

Characters: Dante is so loveable and protective and just made you want to have your own lion! As much as Hannah and her reckless ways got on my nerves I loved her anyway, I know why she was doing those things but I still wanted to slap her LOL!

Sex: Holy hotness the sex was so good in this book. At one point I had to step away from the kindle I was getting so hot!

Religious: NO

Would I recommend to others: HELL YES!!

More than one book in the series: yes and I can't wait for the next one! HURRY PLEASE MADELINE!!!!

Genre: Paranormal/Erotic/Romance

Would I read more by this author: No doubt about it...yes

Madeline Pryce earned her spot on my “must read” list with her first novel DARK CRAVINGS. DARK INNOCENCE ensures she’ll remain there. It was a real treat to see Hannah as someone far more complex and stronger than she seemed in DARK CRAVINGS. She’s an impressive young woman with far more depth than anyone every notices. Dante is sexy and genuinely nice despite his macho exterior. He takes time to ensure Hannah is protected and to be her nonjudgmental safe harbor while she continues to hope the drugs and alcohol will dull her pain. Both have reservations about their age difference. When Hannah finally decides she wants Dante for more than a friend and throws herself at him things don’t go as she’d planned. It’s not a lack of mutual attraction that keeps the friends from amping up their relationship. Dante is perfect for Hannah because he’s not only willing to fight to ensure her safety. He’s also uniquely able to support her new-found strength as she battles a madman. When the two finally do consummate their relationship, it’s HOT.

Pryce is an amazing storyteller who can write the hottest erotica within fascinating paranormal stories full of action, tension and romance.

Dark Innocence by Madeline Pryce
5 STARS
This is a fascinating paranormal story full of action and romance.
Stunning! WOW what an amazing book to start me off on this genre.
I like BDSM, HEA romantic novels etc. I won this book and so glad Madeline Pryce was my first intro to this genre. Excellent, I am a fan.
No Spoilers here:
I would suggest you first start with Dark Cravings book #1 of this series then you get the pleasure of meeting some, hot, sexy Alpha characters, and you get a little background on Hannah, Ella and a fucking sexy, protective, possessive Lion Shifter named Dante.

Dark Innocence is crammed full of action, intrigue and all the rest hot –hot-hot. Hannah goes through an ordeal, and tries to numb her pain with alcohol drugs and sex. I could go on, but then I have to give away the story. At the beginning of Dark Innocence Hannah is at a Frat Party getting banged my some shit, she is in such a zombie state between the drugs and alcohol, she could feel nothing.
Dante shows Hannah that she is much stronger than she or anyone knew, and when they do get together their relationship is HOT and Stunning.

This is a fascinating paranormal story full of action and romance.

Every woman needs a Dante in their lives!! Madeline Pryce definitely is a great author! Having read Dark Cravings and Dark Innocence I am a fan for life.
Hannah carries a big burden by not being able to ever forget anything she sees. The horrors she carries in her mind from being held captive and tortured would totally break most women and while Hannah tries to forget by taking pills, drinking and having meaningless sex with lots of men, she comes to lean on Dante to rescue her. She does find her way out of that continuous cycle with the help of Dante.
Dante is a lion shifter who has a very big heart when it comes to Hannah and will do whatever it takes to protect her. Ever since he rescued her from her kidnappers he watched out for her as much as possible. Dante is the type of man that most women dream of and wish they had in their lives.
Kudos to Ms. Pryce for writing this fantastic book and I am looking forward to her next book! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!
I received this book in a giveaway.

I read Dark Innocence in one sitting it was that good!

Madeline Pryce has become one of my most favorite authors by writing the sexiest alpha males ever!

Dark Innocence is the story of Hannah and Dante, the sexy lion shifter that was introduced in Dark Cravings, who helped Ella rescue Hanna from Lizbeth, the Vampire Queen. With Hannah’s photographic memory she tries to numb herself from the horrific ordeal she had gone through with alcohol, drugs, and sex. Dante has seen her at her very worst and is always there when she needs him.

I loved how Madeline progressed Hannah’s character throughout the book from a weak, sheltered young lady to a strong, capable woman. Dante is one of the hottest alpha male’s I’ve ever read and the sex is off the charts in this book!

I highly recommend Dark Innocence and give it 5 stars. I will be first in line when the next in the series comes out.

What!! Hot..Hot..Hot!!! Good fast read for me. Hannah has been living in her sisters shadow and has not really had to do anything in the family business. She has a crazy good memory and with what happened with the vampire queen she is left feeling lost. Dante is the one she turns to. He has been there since that horrific night and was the one to save her. Ella has a lot going on being now that she is queen. Hannah has someone after her and her feelings for Dante and Eli have her realizing things and re-evaluating her feelings for Eli. She has a lot to work on and with Dante by her side coaxing her and molding her, she might just make it. The scenes in this read are awesome. The build up!!! WHAT!! I was gripping my E-reader LITERALLY!!! Alpha males galore!!! Thoroughly enjoyed this read. On to the next!!

I received this ARC from the publisher via Net Galley for my honest review. Thank you, Net Galley!!

This is my first read from Madeline Pryce, and I would certainly go out of my way to find her work elsewhere after this! The main character, Hannah, is perfectly flawed, having hangups and issues that are traumatic, but also realistic. She was a bit whiny in some places where I thought she should have been more willing to man up, but she made up for it later on in the story.

The lion shifter, Dante, has some problems of his own, but with the help of Hannah, he seems to heal in ways he wouldn't have been able to on his own. With a lot of teasing scenes that are smoking hot, all building up to a finale that explodes with passion, this short little treasure is definitely something I would recommend if you're into phenomenal fight scenes, suspense, characters who overcome adversity, and sultry love scenes that will make you lick your lips with longing.

"Dark Innocence" is a book that I really wanted to love but I didn't. I did enjoy it. And I enjoyed the relationship between Hannah & Dante. Their chemistry was believable and their love scenes where hot. But I was a little disappointed with the "mortal peril" part of the story. The way Hannah's mystery stalker is handled lacked any real excitement. And Dante is supposed to be a total badass yet when the fighting goes down Dante comes across more like a wimp then a badass. Madeline Pryce did succeed in making the connection between Dante and Hannah seem real and that is best part about this book. I hope that the author will expand more on Dante & Hannah's relationship because I would like to see more of them.

*NetGalley provided me with a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. (And then I bought it :)

Hanna had a rough time in Dark Cravings. This book gives you her after story. She is trying to deal and make sense of what she went through and how it has affected her. Making bad choices and trying to numb her emotions didn't seem to be working. She finds help and discovers who she really is. Hanna doesn't seem to be able to catch a break, but in the end I think she finds what she really needs. If you loved the first book you can't miss this one. It's all told from Hanna's point of view and it's wonderful. I loved getting to know Hannah in this story. I hope to see more stories from the other characters in the series. Another amazingly sexy paranormal romance from Pryce. Can't wait for the next.
