THIS NEEDS TO BE PUBLISHED. Every single chapter was written so well I never got bored! nope not once, and to think this thing kept me up to 6 in the morning!, it is really hard to put down I glad I found it :)

Being in love is hard.
Being in love with your best friend is harder.
Being in love with your best friend who is in an entirely different clique in High School is the hardest.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH MY LIFE RIGHT NOW.

he's not a jock, but he plays basketball and volleyball too well
I'm not a nerd, but I wear glasses
he's not that popular, but a lot of girls likes him
I don't hate school, but I care about what people says
and yes he's really good looking.
We're not divided by High School cliques but we're divided with peer pressure.
Idk man, I'm pretty sure about my feelings with him. I just have to cover it up by saying that I have a crush on his friend and he's fine with that. HE'S ACTUALLY FINE WITH IT WHY AM I DISTURBED WITH THE THOUGHT IT'S OKAY RIGHT? I totally can relate with Dakota. And butterflies don't seem to have a plan on leaving my stomach anytime soon. Some people say that this would actually lead to that but I doubt it. We're graduating High School in two weeks time and I don't know what's going to happen next.
Anywaaaay enough about me. About the book, it's totally beautiful, the story. It's maybe cliche to have a theme like that but of all the stories I've read about best friends this one is the closest thing to reality, I have to admit to that. We stop ourselves from liking someone just so we don't ruin our friendship with them. And I don't think it's really a good thing.

A&D was a light read [251 pages]. The plot was good but a little cliche for my taste. Nevertheless, It was a cute story. I can't count the number of times I've felt giddy while reading this book. The only problem I've had with it is that the antagonists [Annabelle and Dwayne] were so easily off the hook. The characters were literally "okay" with everything that has happened.
In short, i thought this book could've had a bit of thrill, maybe? To be honest, I enjoyed this book, but at some parts, I found it quite tedious. The story went slow from whenever they were talking and their thoughts about their unsaid feelings for each other and then the story will go by fast whenever there was an event or an action being done.
Still, It was a good and light read. 4/5 stars ★

This was such an amazing book! It was written in a way that you couldn't help but connect to each character and their feelings. I loved it!

Well, I've read this when I was in 3rd year HS and OMG THIS IS SO GOOD. Love the plot, the characters and the setting! Made me love Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me more because of this.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I first discovered Aaron and Dakotas' story on Wattpad a few years ago, and have since read it multiple times over. Each time I read this book I become attached to the characters all over again, being nervous when they are and excited when they are (despite the fact that I already know what will happen). It was funny and sad and romantic and sweet all wrapped up in one cute story. I would definitely recommend this!!!

I just finished reading A and D.... for the fourth time. HOW IS IT STILL SO GOOD AFTER ALL THESE YEARS?! Gosh I've loved this story for several years now and it never ceases to amaze me how much the story makes my heart hurt and sing and scream at the same time.

I loved the story haha A light read, could be read in one sitting. But for my personal opinion, the part about Aaron's mom in the end could have been omitted. It just seemed a little forced. I don't know if the only reason why the author did that was for Aaron to realize what Mrs. Ford was trying to say about Dakota. Despite that, I still loved the story :D

While I'd like to read this thoroughly, the cliché parts are just killing me.
I'm sorry (not really) but, I already know the gist of the story so pardon me if I don't want to read what I know will be read.
Boy and girl are friends. Boy realizes feelings (bet there is a love triangle), then they get together and fall in love. Happily. Ever. After.

A and D is such a cute novel. Thank you Summit Media for publishing thia book. Yes, it is another bestfriend love story. But it is just so cuuuuute. Cliches may be rampant in this story, but I am a sucker for novels like this. :)

Dakota dan Aaron bersahabat sejak kecil karena mereka tetanggaan. Rumah mereka pun sebelahan dan tiap hari Aaron membangunkan Dakota lewat radio pager yang terpasang di kamar masing-masing. Masalahnya adalah, Dakota tuh naksir Aaron, padahal di sekolah, mereka seperti bumi dan lain. Aaron bintang basket san Dakota adalah si culun. Masalah lainnya, Aaron udah punya pacar yang cemburuan. Persahabatn A & D pun jadi bumerang buat D, karena dia jadi dibully.

How could someone’s eyes twinkle in real life ? That was just bizarre. That only happened in novels and movies and cartoons. It’d be cool if it did happen, though.
But maybe it was times plan all along. Maybe time was still moulding us for who we were now.
You know those stupid-age-old love stories that are so annoyingly same and unbelievable, but yet time and again some of them leave you smiling like an idiot at the end no matter what?! Yup that’s what this one was for me.
It was one of those millions books based on best friends falling in love, if only I was into the plot , it not like I don’t try to be I do I really do , I mean i read it even after knowing that the plot was a friendship-love story didn’t I ?! How much more INTO it can I get. But what Sold the story to me was its characters - Dakota for being a cynical-sarcastic nerd, god I loved her for being like that cause hey I am like that too but that’s not just it her witty comebacks and nature and everything ... well It made me adore her so much and then there’s Aaron who’s a really good son, a great friend and an even greater best, a confident person a bit cocky, though. Still he pulls it off by being..HIM?!...I don’t know just he does. And all A's & D’s other friends and family. Yup they made it worth the read. And also the fact that A & D were so adorable and good together, D was the Ying to A’s Yang, and all the other stuff ( like the near the Hudson river scene, the boys locker room scene, the singing with guitar scene, and when D was there for A in his moments of grief, so basically all such parts)
Plus the wedding 2015 at the end *grins* - now what's more cool then that ;) :D

My first time using Wattpad, only for read this one (karena versi terjemahannya masih harus PO). Temanya standar teenlit, sebenarnya, tapi saya suka dengan eksekusi-nya menjadi teenlit yang gak ngebosenin. So, we'll see...
Aaron Ford dan Dakota Evans, sudah saling mengenal selama hampir seumur hidupnya sejak mereka berdua masih sangat kecil, ditambah lagi mereka bertetangga dan orangtua mereka juga saling berteman. Agar bisa mengobrol walaupun terhalang jendela kamar masing-masing, mereka sepakat memasang walkie-talkie di kamar masing-masing. Setiap pagi Aaron rutin membangunkan Dakota yang jelas punya masalah dengan bangun tidur pagi. Pergi ke sekolah bersama dan naik bus yang sama dan mulai di dalam bus-lah mereka "terpisah": Aaron bersama golongan anak-anak populer, sedangkan Dakota menyingkir bersama dengan Alyson, sahabat perempuannya.
Ada lagi perbedaannya, Aaron punya pacar -si Nenek Sihir Annabelle- sedangkan Dakota tidak. Dakota jatuh hati pada Aaron, Aaron... well, tidak.
Jadi ketika Dakota didekati oleh anak baru yang jelas-jelas harusnya, secara logika, masuk dalam golongan anak-anak populer - Dwayne Richardson, mengapa Aaron merasa terusik? A&D adalah novel Phil-Fict kedua yang aku baca. As usual, Penerbit Haru tidak pernah mengecewakan dalam menerbitkan novel. I’ll give two thumbs up for this novel.
Pertama-tama, ketika Penerbit Haru mengupload suatu post di IG mengenai vote cover novel A&D ini, aku sudah tertarik. Pilihan covernya sangat bagus. Jadi, sebenarnya aku tertarik dulu dengan covernya hehehe. Setelah itu, aku baca sinopsisnya. Wah, cerita anak sekolahan nih, favoritku banget. Pas dari situ, aku sudah jatuh hati sama novel A&D dan gak sabar banget buat ikutan POnya. Dan pas banget barengan sama POnya AudyO2.
Jalan ceritanya umum dan mudah ditebak sebenarnya. Tapi, tata bahasanya sangat baik sehingga dapat dinikmati oleh remaja seperti aku. Lagi-lagi aku terkesan dengan terjemahan novel A&D ini. Aku berpikir, seperti tidak membaca novel terjemahan. Pilihan kata, gaya, dan tata bahasanya mengalir begitu saja.
Penggambaran tokohnya sangat jelas dan hidup. Aku seperti ikut berperan di dalamnya, menjadi Dakota yang memiliki sahabat super tampan seperti Aaron dan jatuh cinta kepadanya hahaha. Hubungan mereka berdua sweet banget, sampe iri bacanya.
Aku juga mendapatkan beberapa pelajaran dari novel ini, salah satunya agar dapat lebih sering berpikir positif dan berani ambil resiko.
Overall, aku suka novel Phil-Fict kedua yang Penerbit Haru terbitkan dan aku tidak akan ragu untuk memberi 5 bintang untuk novel ini.
Mungkin, saranku untuk kedepannya, Penerbit Haru bisa menerbitkan Phil-Fict lainnya yang lebih banyak.💖

"I'm in love with my Best-friend"
aaaaahhh!!! I so freaking love it! I knew it from the start! Aaron was just too dumb to feel and blind to see that he has feelings for Dakota. >_<
I got carried away on the part where his Mom died and that at last he realized his feelings for Dakota. I also cried during their graduation because it's like remembering the past. A very nostalgic one. One moment I was crying then later I was smiling like an idiot but I love it! I gave it 5 stars because it's worth reading for. It's a good way to end your high school and start a new life in college that you'd got to forgive those people who've hurt you or made you cry. You learned something from them. :) ♥♥ That's life. I'm happy for Aaron and Dakota since they'll be going in the same college. Yay! Thumbs up..

"There was nothing wrong with being optimistic. Being realistic was fine, but it wouldn't hurt to be positive once in a while. I love this! Of all the wattpad books that I've read, this one is really different from others. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to read a cliché and 'best friend turned into lovers' kind of story. The flow of the story was really good. When I first read, I cannot put it down. This one is a fun and easy to read story. The choice of words are really flawless. Although the conflict was not really that complicated and are quite predictable, I just can't help but smile with the cuteness of A and D's moments.
What I just notice was that some of the punctuations were wrong. I don't think the author was responsible for this for she did made a great job on writing the story. I think the editors did not proof read it properly. Many times I encountered wrong quotations. For example:
"Chill, Dakota," said Alyson ,He'll be here any second."
I even found doubting myself if I really read it correctly. The lost of the starting quotation are sometimes confusing. I hope that for the next printing, they could correct this. I can understand if this one was only posted in wattpad. But its a published story so they should pay more attention for the quality of what they are printing.
But all in all, I love it! I'm quite picky when it comes to 'wattpad-turned-into-books' story. This one is the first. Cheers for the author!

This is great! The story really comes from the music video of You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift. Well, the author got the idea from there so she came up with this.
I think being in love with your best friend is like all or nothing, do or die and now or never.
All or nothing, I mean your relationship with him/her will be wasted (not totally wasted) because we all know that it will not be the same again if you confessed. It will be back to basics again.
Do or die is like you wanted to tell him/her but at the same time you don't want to. Your dying each day to tell him/her but you can't because of your friendship.
Now or never because if you did not tell him/her then you will regret it for the rest of your life. Maybe he/she will be your biggest "what if" in your life.
For me, as far as I can, I don't want to fall in love with my best friend. It's like risking your life with no apparent reason.

One of the first books on Wattpad that I loved so much. Read this when I was in my teens.
The plot is great. Story is bit cliche. Best friends falling in love with each other but along with it the storyline of the whole friends gang is what makes it a bit unique.
Good read for cliche stuff.

Aku pikir ini buku lokal,,setelah sampai di tangan barulah tahu ini terjemahan penerbit haru..wis ra popo dalam hati baca ajalah..genre persahabatan di bumbui cinta emang selalu menariksih buat saya pribadi karena semua orang di dunia ini pasti punya sahabat walaupun cuma satu,,suka sama karakter dakota yang selalu jadi dirinya sendiri tanpa berniat memgubahnya walaupun berteman dengan cowok terpopuler sekalipun,,sempat berfikir juga apa ada sosok Aaron di dunia nyata ini.Persahabatan memang tak harus bersyarat fisik tapi yang seperti Aaron pastilah langka dan kemungkinan hampir punah..dan well thank you Aaron sudah menjaga dakota..Aku suka kisah kalian.bahagialah selalu..

Lol. This story is hilarious. I like the fact that this story is inspired by taylor swift's music video "you belong with me". I definitely imagine Lucas Till as Aaron and Taylor Swift as Dakota. I find it boring at first, but the chapter just get better and better. I should stop reading chick lit books for a while. I need to get back to my hectic life as my holidays ended. I might daydream during lectures if i keep reading this kind of books.

Yes it is a falling in love with your best friend kind of story. But the author managed to make it so much better. It was cute and sweet and very romantic. What first drew me to the story was the fact that the author was inspired by Taylor Swift's "You belong with me".

I had more hopes from this book. Great Start. Great in the middle. And if talk about the end... Good! But still something got majorly weird when A confessed D. Abrupt sort of feeling.

Great book! Cheesy at times, but I adored Dakota's sarcastic humor and how dense both her and Aaron could be. I read this in one sitting! I'm pretty proud of myself.
I wish people who live in the U.S. or anywhere else could buy a physical copy too and not just in the Philippines!

I was hooked with this book, like seriously. I love A and D. Well, maybe it's a bit cliche but at least not to the point that it'll gross you out (i mean the triteness/story-overused not the green one, just want to clarify.) So yeah i like it.

so since this wattpad book is published I guess I don't have to tell much abt it...as the writer said herself that she is inspired by Taylor swifts you belong with me to write this book..I think to did a total justice to all the swifties..I really enjoyed it...

Loved it when I read it on Wattpad and love it even more now. I was thrilled when I found it on Amazon. I shared it on Wattpad because the story touched my heart, the way she lets him go. If you truly want a best friend story that grabs you this is it!!!
