It's the Holidays on Luda or at least the Tornian version of the Holidays.
When Lisa learned about the Festival of the Goddess she was initially excited, that was before she learned just how Tornians celebrated. The blending of families and traditions was never easy but Lisa and the girls were determined to bring their version of the Holidays to Luanda and the people they had come to love.
Un spin-off muy tierno y emotivo, que le da continuidad a los sucesos con los que finaliza Grim, pero es totalmente prescindible para el avance de la historia.
A Grim Holiday is a short novella in the Tornians series featuring Grim and Lisa plus their two girls.
It’s a lovely short of this couple's first Christmas together. It’s full of emotions and lots of love. The girls Carlie and Miki are adorable and sweet. Some wonderful scenes with them and Grim. We also get some very sexy moments.
A Grim Holiday was a sweet short story. I enjoyed it!
I liked reading what happened to Lisa, Grim and their two girls. I can't wait for the other books in the series.
*****Re-read for the 2nd time***** Last read 1/7/2014
As I was reading this book I tried to remember the timeline. This book seems to happen after Ynyr's book if it was told in the timeline in the story. There is a person that Lisa mentions as Grim tells her that Ull, who is Ynyr's eldest brother, is on the way to Luda to see her about the best way to make contact with Earth. Lisa mentions someone who may be able to help. Hopefully this leads into a story about Ull and his mate.
A cute mini story to this series, although way shorter than I was expecting considering the price you pay. $1.99 for 30 pages, just not long enough is my only issue with it. Love seeing this family together and celebrating a Christmas together was so endearing.
Short story a couple months after book 1, thankfully it's edited so the grammar and tense issues of book 1 aren't present here. I did find it confusing that the Tornian celebration was mentioned but not shown nonetheless a cute Christmas story
Love anything to do with Lisa and Grim. Would really like a story where she has the baby. Not read to be done with these two yet..... Please M.K. Eidem.
What a fantastic holiday story about blending two cultures together. I love that we got to see another glimpse into this couple and how they are finding their way together as a family. This was the perfect short story to get me in the mood for Christmas!
I would have given this a 4 star, but I'm pouting so I won't. Entirely too short. This was definitely a teaser for the book to come (I hope there is a book to come....and soon!!). I would loan this book to a friend, however, it has to be a friend who read the first one (or you wouldn't understand anything about this one) TTFN-Elise!
I ended up breezing through the ENTIRE TORNIANS SERIES. So i am reviewing the series as a whole. Even the KALISZIANS SERIES which do go hand in hand.
YES, THERE ARE MANY ERRORS in the first few books. However IT DOES GET BETTER in my opinion and the overall STORY IS SO INTRICATE AND UNIQUE. I think its more than worth ignoring the errors. I understand there are many who can't get past it, I was honestly one of those, but I managed and it did get so much better in later books.
AMAZING STORY. I wish there was more as there is still so many characters who's lives I want to dive into and so many other species who need their stories told!! This is the first SCIENCE FICTION ROMANCE series that I just COULDN'T PUT DOWN until I devoured all the books, hungry to know the story of these new HONORABLE AND STRONG ALIENS.
The story was too short if you ask me.. It takes place about three months after the first novel, Grim, in the series and I feel as though it ended a bit abrubtly. Grim tells Lisa that Ull is there to speak with her about Earth but the Reader never witnesses that conversation. I would have liked to witness it.
The short story basically introduced Grim to Lisa's Earth Holiday Customs. I liked it and wished it was longer.
Series: Tornians #1.5 Rating: 3 stars - I liked it
A lovely short story of Grim and Lisa’s first Christmas together. I love all the emotion and love in this scene. I also love Grim telling the girls bedtime stories of the Great Raptor.
This short story takes place within a very short period of time from the ending of Grim's book. It is a story about Lisa and the girls showing Grim and their folks about their version of the Christmas holidays. Short, but sweet.
