This hamster series by Dave Lowe is a hit with the kids. This was the first book I got for my kids and they were hooked! The clever interplay of linguistic style, humour and plot hooked them, and started them on reading the book by themselves.

So funny. Read it for school and I new it by heart when I entered the classroom. Didn't get full marks in the test though. (trick question)
