I have referred to this book many times when looking at natal charts. Alan provides a clear and reasonable set of keywords and ways to understand planets, signs, and houses.

Read this as a follow-up to "Hamlet's Mill" to get a better grasp of the astrological basis of myth. Overall, it was informative in that regard even though I skipped over a lot of the sections dealing with how to interpret astrological charts.
