McKenna has poured all of her time, money and energy into investing in, what she believes, will be the new game changing app in the dating world. Perfect Match has been thoroughly tested and is a truly unique way of matching up people who are out there trying to find their forever person. All she needs now is a investor behind her to take it to market. She has her mind set on Jack Callahan being the person who can offer her that cash injection she desperately needs.

McKenna is passionate about her product and is determined to get Jack's attention, any way, any how. This is how she ends up at the top of a climbing wall, despite being scared of heights. Gate crashing Jack's climbing session is her first attempt at wooing him. After several more he finally throws down a challenge of his own. Find him his Perfect Match and he will invest. Challenge accepted, there is no way she will not be able to meet his terms.

However, along the way, McKenna is growing feelings towards Jack, warm, sexy feelings. She gets the feeling that he is having similar thoughts. This was not how the plan is supposed to go. Firstly, mixing business with pleasure is just simply a no-go zone. Secondly, she needs to find him his perfect match or she will never see her business dream realised.

As lines begin to blur between them, McKenna begins to second guess some of her methods, maybe opposites do attract and it has nothing to do with finding a perfect match. All she knows is that Jack is perfect for her.

'It's that moment when you look at a person, and they look back at you, and you know they're right there in that moment with you. Completely on the same wavelength. You don't need to take a quiz or run a test to know you're connecting, it's just there. Effortless.'

I really enjoyed this story for the most part, the only bit I have a little gripe about is when things go a bit crazy and Jack is a total assuming douche bag, I felt like McKenna just forgave him to easily and I thought she had way more strength in her and should have pushed back a bit more. Make that man grovel!

I enjoyed this quick and light read but it isn't a surprise for me to like Lila Monroe's rom-coms.

McKenna and Jack are a good couple of characters with a fiery attraction for each other but their business relationship prevent them from acting on their chemistry.
Jack doesn't believe in true love but after McKenna insistence he decides to give a chance to her new dating app and her love algorithm and maybe he will finally change his mind finding his perfect match.

I recommend to read this story when you are in the mood for a light, sexy and funny time.

This is a fairly light and angst-free rom-com, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I did find the ending (or should that be forgiving?) felt slightly rushed but over all this was a very enjoyable, easy to read and most of all fun romance.

I liked McKenna's character, she felt very natural and real. Jack, I guess, was jaded and a little arrogant but I still liked him. The book is written in the first person and from both POV's, so I felt that I really got to understand them both. I did find it odd how McKenna wasn't more concerned about Jack's lack of communication following his trip to Florida. They'd been spending so much time together and she didn't question his sudden unavailability? Hmmm.

There was the inevitable misunderstanding caused by a lack of communication, a pinch of fear and a lot of stupidity. Normally in a rom-com the angst level here really draws me in, but there was only the one moment on the boat where I really, really felt it. That isn't to say the writing was bad, just that the book is lighter on drama and emotion. It may have been because this part was very McKenna heavy and we barely got Jack's take on it but, even though I enjoyed it, I just had the feeling it missed a little something.

That said Perfect Match is a really good read, it takes no effort to read, it does draw you in and it is highly entertaining. It is well written, with good quality characters and a detailed plot that all add up to a worthwhile purchase and a very pleasant few hours of time.

Swoony, saucy, and sexy...Perfect Match is the perfect feel-good romance!

Perfect Match is a light-hearted, funny AF, and engaging love story! It proves over and over again how opposites attract, and the uncontrollable desires two people share for one another. The character dynamic was top-notch, and showcases Ms. Monroe's unique writing style thoroughly. Where her previous books in the Lucky in Love series all share an unwavering comedic undertone, this book really exhibits character drive, ambition, and determination against all odds.

Jack and McKenna are incredible characters! Their individual backgrounds weave together as their story together develops, making it utterly impossible to not fall in love with both of them. As much as their outlooks on love differ, it's the characteristics they each display that shows they're more similar than what they thought. But it's their constant banter and amusing situations, coupled with their sizzling chemistry (both in and out of bed), that propels this story to a remarkable level.

Perfect Match catches your attention from the start. I was instantly intrigued with this book by just the blurb alone, and the story does not fail. Every book I read from Ms. Monroe just gets better and better, and she continues to wow her readers with her rich, heartwarming, fiery, and passionate love stories.

Hilarious and entertaining, Perfect Match is a definite one-click must read!

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.

This was a fun and fast read, I really sped through this one. The ideas in this book are really fun. A woman with a dating app like no other that could just change the dating app game? And an investor who doesn't believe in algorithms for love?

Let the games begin. McKenna sets out to get Jack on board as an investor for her app. But will they end up being the Perfect Match in the end?

I love the characters in this, they're so much fun and so easy to like. Both the main characters and the secondary ones. I love how Jack and McKenna connect and push each others buttons. McKenna trying to get him to believe in her app, and then trying to fight how she feels for him - couple this all with a business arrangement.

There are so many fun scenes in this - frustrating ones, funny ones, sexy ones, and even some angsty ones. This is a romcom that will have you devouring the pages and not wanting to put it down.

Lots of fun and definitely worth your time. Would Recommend.

I think I'm now officially a Lila Monroe fan. The last one I read was Bet Me, so I'm obviously not reading the books in order, but that honestly doesn't really matter (besides the fact that you get spoiled by who ends up with whom I guess).

The story
The story is about McKenna, who is the developer of this app that makes people end up with the love of their life. She needs investors, and in comes Jack, a rich guy who could be a potential investor.

The story reminded me a lot of both the Kissing Quotient and some Hallmark movie (maybe it was based on this story, because it was basically the exact same storyline as this book). Besides that, I really enjoyed it.

The characters
Let's start with McKenna. I cannot put into words how much I despise that name, but it didn't bother me that much. She was this strong business woman, and I totally saw myself in her; the way she wants to make a career, putting everything else (like her love life) on hold. I liked the way that the story wasn't just about her sexual thoughts, but also about her actual app. Sometimes the books are just about them thinking about sex 24/7, but I'm glad this really did have some of a plot again :)
Stop outside the building door and say goodnight -
"Want to come up for a minute?"
I'm horrified to find it's my own voice asking. Shit. Shit. Where did that come from?

Man, she was relatable.

Jack was good I guess, but I started to have some second thoughts about him. The way he It really opened my eyes, how he was kind of a typical douchebag at that point, who thinks women aren't destined to work or something. Ugh. But besides that, I think their banter was great, they really had a good click.
What bothers me is that his past was mentioned, but we never got anything to know about it. Seriously, what's up with his parents (who we don't ever see), how did he get into business etc. etc., we only hear some side comments and that's all? I really wanted to hear more, so that bothered me. That doesn't mean I wasn't rooting for him though, or that I wasn't excited by the way he talks to McKenna or thinks about her.
To hell with petite blondes, she's everything a man could want.

I also really enjoyed the fact that there are changing POV's, because I really want to know what the other main character is thinking at times. I really like that about these books, it's not a 50/50 distribution between them though, it's mostly McKenna.

I loved that Jake and Lizzie made a quick appearance! I actually hooted. I got really excited at the end too, when I realized there would be/is a book about Hallie! I really liked her. I'm also hoping (and I'm thinking I'll be right) that Jill and Tessa will get their own books, I looooved Jill! Monroe just has this way of casually mentioning side characters and making me fall for them immediately. Seriously, good job. But Tessa, I'm stealing "Playing hide the salami" from you, lol. Also, Jill calling Jack stud muffin , I'm crying. Seriously, I love them.
"Men and cupcakes are slightly different."
She laughs. "Not as much as they like to think."

I did have some problems with their fight; it honestly seemed so stupid. Seriously,

The ending however had me all warm cheeked and happy. Everytime I read books like this, I just feel all warm and fuzzy, and I'm feeling the exact same way again!

In conclusion, I enjoyed the storyline, and although I had some problems with Jack, I did like them together. I'm giving it 3.5 stars, but rounded up to 4 because I love Monroe.

"With all my heart. It's yours if you want it."
"I guess it'd be a fair trade," I say, smiling. "since you've already have mine."

4.5 Star Review of Perfect Match (Lucky In Love #5) by Lila Monroe
Lila Monroe was a new author to me and to be honest I have no idea why that is the case. I absolutely loved Perfect Match; the premise intrigued me and I jumped at the chance to read and review. Having finished this book all I can ask myself is why have I not read her books before.
Both Jack and McKenna are such strong and determined people that you just knew going into the story that sparks were going to fly and fly they did
I thoroughly enjoyed Perfect Match which had me cringing in places as well as laughing out loud was truly invested in reading this book and couldn’t wait to see how this “match” would play out. I also loved how vulnerable, yet feisty McKenna was and admired her strength and determination to find the backing she desperately needed for her App to reach the next level.
She had her hands full with the charming and take charge Jack Callaghan and I admit he made me swoon. Although having said that I also wanted to smack him up the back of the head on occasion for being a jerk.
There were laughs and plenty of sizzle between Jack and McKenna and I really felt that these two were in fact each others “Perfect Match”. They really did bring out the best and the worst in each other.
The writing was strong as was the story line and I will most definitely be reading more of Lila Monroe’s books

The Perfect match by Lila Monroe is book 5 in her Lucky in Love series. Each book can be read as a standalone. In Ms. Monroe’s latest contemporary romance, she pairs a budding entrepreneur, McKenna, with a very successful venture capitalist (VC). Is McKenna’s research in developing an algorithm to find one’s soulmate correct, or do opposites attract? McKenna and her staff are very confident in their work, but working with Jack might force her to relook at her work.

McKenna is all work and no play. She’s had plenty of horrific prior relationships, and naturally that has influenced her development of the perfect matchmaking/dating website. When she pitches her project to the hunky VC guru, Jack, she has no idea how difficult it will be to find his perfect match and prove her algorithm works. I loved McKenna’s confidence and tenacity. She had the perfect qualities for a successful businesswoman and mentor to teen girls looking to follow in her footsteps.

Jack is a gorgeous, wildly successful man who keeps his past and personal endeavors to himself. It takes a while, but he eventually opens up and shows McKenna a much more interesting side than his public persona. And that public persona depicts him as a rich, successful player. His attitude—especially about the perfect mate—is straight of the 1950s or The Stepford Wives! When fellow VCs start taking notice of McKenna’s work, Jack gets serious about funding McKenna’s project as well as promoting her talents as a sound business woman. Is Jack only protecting his investment?

Author Lila Monroe touches on the added struggles women face in the work place without being overbearing or preachy. The Perfect Match is a quick-paced, angst-filled office romance. The little tie into Ms. Monroe’s prior book, Mr. Right Now, is nice and subtle. I really enjoyed this light, fun read!

I adore romantic comedies because I always walkaway feeling lighter…not weighed down as much by the chaos of real life because for several hours I’m allowed to enter a world filled with humor, steam, and amazingly dynamic characters, and as the author tells the hero and heroine’s story working towards their happily ever after, the comical scenes, supporting characters as well as the magnetism between the main characters makes this genre one of my favorites.

The premise of Jack and McKenna’s story is quite intriguing and Lila Monroe does a great job building their story line from the reason McKenna initially needs Jack’s assistance to just how quickly their partnership becomes so much more than either of them ever considered a relationship could be, even if McKenna convinced Jack to financially back her dating app with the sales pitch that she could find his perfect match…someone who isn’t her.

Witty banter, sexual tension, and sweet and swoon worthy moments are perfectly combined to prove to readers just how ‘perfect’ these two are for each other and while both Jack and McKenna make their share of blunders and miscalculations, when it truly counts, they come through, keeping things quite classy and even a little bit sassy;)

Perfect Match is a hilarious, feel good story that had me swooning just as much as laughing. Jack and McKenna’s chemistry was off the charts from their very first encounter and even though their views on dating and romance didn’t quite match up, when they looked beyond what they deemed as ‘perfect,’ they found themselves yearning for one another, redefining who they thought could be their ‘one.’

Marie’s Review

Perfect Match by Lila Monroe is the 5 book in the Luck In Love series and the 3rd that I’ve read. Based on the previous books I had read in the series I was very eager to dive right into this book. It was great read full of humor, sexiness, and heartfelt moments.

McKenna was a girl after my own heart. Hard working, she wants to make it on her own. Pitching her product over and over again has left her struggling. When she goes after Jack for the financing she needs, she is somewhat desperate and goes over the top to get his attention.

Jack is a self-made man and although intrigued by McKenna business proposal, isn’t sure that he is the right person for the project. When McKenna challenges him, he accepts her bet and the fun begins.

A story full of twists and turns laced with humor and sexiness, this book is a quick smile inducing read. Ms. Monroe’s writing was excellent and she knows, I mean really knows, these characters and the ones that cross over from the other books in this series. Well worth the time to invest yourself in this book and this series.

Jessica’s Review

With this book I was drawn in from the premises. I love the type of Internet connection type romance novels and bought this one kind of deals with it it’s on a different level. I really liked Jack is a person. Yes you could be a jerk, but underneath it all he could be out of sweetheart. McKenna was so full of determination. Even showing the sides of her that we’re nervous, and unsure, you could still feel her determination.

Like I said about the plot was really intriguing and it kept a steady pace from start to finish. Also, the attraction between the two main characters and the chemistry is off the chart. There are a few characters in this book that have books already, so at some point I plan to go back and read. 4 Stars #2OCCJD

Perfect Match is a sexy, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy. It's a story about opposites attracting against all love-matching-algorithms odds. Be ready to laugh, swoon and fall in love with Jack Callahan.

We've met McKenna Delaney previously in Mr. Right-Now. She's Drew Delaney's sister.  Now it's McKenna's turn to find her perfect match.

McKenna needs an investor to get her dating app off the ground. After a few brush-offs from possible investors she sets her sights on Jack Callahan. McKenna is willing to scale walls, literally, to get Jack's attention.

Jack can't seem to escape from McKenna's persistence. He decides to give her an opportunity to find him true love. If successful he'll invest in her company. But as it turns out he doesn't need the app to find his perfect match when she's right in front of him.

The struggle is real in this heart melting rom-com. 5 Stars

I absolutely love Lila Monroe...She's become my one-click author.

This story is full of fun, sass and a whole lot of assumptions. I loved the way this book started when McKenna first approached Jack with her wanting him to invest in her dating app. That followed by the "slow" burn until it turned into one hot volcano od emotions.

The chemistry between them was sizzling and that is why I just couldn't believe that Jack, with his whole "been around the world" attitude, thought that McKenna would deceive him just to get his money.

Up until that point in the book it was a 5* read...but the way he handled the situation and how fast she forgave him...He did came around and redeemed himself at the end but still - unfortunately it "only" 4* today.
With that said - I can't wait for the next one from Mrs. Monroe. I just know it will be her best work yet.

Perfect Match is the perfect example of sexual tension at its "peak". It climbs and climbs bringing you closer and closer to climax. It holds you on the precipice of possibility. Do you jump? Do you balance on the edge? Or turn around to the safety of solid ground?

After all its more than dreams on the line...

Enjoy Jack and McKenna's adventures and whatever you do avoid high places! The fall could...never mind, just- enjoy responsibly! lol

Mckenna needed money to launch her new dating app. Jack Callahan was her last hope to finance the app.I liked how persistant Mckenna was to pursue Jack. The locker scene is quite funny. (I promise I won't give anything away.)
Mckenna bet Jack that she could find his true love with her dating app. Even though they were attracted to each other they worked together to get the app ready.
I enjoyed this book. I will have to read the other books in this series.

I love Lila Monroe's books! Her characters are super sweet and they don't leave a bad taste in your mouth. They are always well written and you fall in love with them instantly. Jack Callahan was a hero I loved from the minute I met him. He knew what he likes and doesn't have a problem tell you how it is. McKenna was just as amazing. She knew her program was awesome amazing and didn't stop till Jack was a believer too.

I have read all of Ms. Monroe's books, and I can honestly say she is one of my go-to authors for Rom-Com books. She is an absolute genius when it comes to this genre.

This has become my favorite book by Lila. I was pulled in from the beginning by McKenna and her passion for her app and the belief that everyone deserves a perfect match. I could not put this down and read it in one afternoon. It was a hilarious journey with a lot of great chemistry and romance. Jack and McKenna play off each other so well. We got to catch up with some characters from her other books plus meet some fun characters like Tessa and Jill. I highly recommend this book and series.

Lila Monroe has created the perfect light, laugh-out-loud, and oh-so-lovable romance again! Sex in the City meets Match.com in Perfect Match, a fresh and flirty romantic comedy that is as sweet as it is sexy. This is a guaranteed smile-on-the face story!

The hot and heartbreaking hero, Jack, is one you'll both love but loathe at times. Hot, arrogant, shrewd, compassionate, and caring, kind, and temperamental, this is one billionaire Brit you still have to LOVE!!! Who doesn’t appreciate a hot bloke with a British accent?!?

Jack was fine with playing the field until a beautiful matchmaker encroached his territory.

He’s got a Sexy British accent—-of course he does. Why shouldn’t he hit every “panty-melting” criterion there is?

Beautiful McKenna is out to prove she has what it takes to elevate her revolutionary matchmaking app, one that could knock the dating world off its axis. I adored and admired this heroine as McKenna is tough and tenacious.

When Jack and McKemna end up partnering together, sparks fly. Their intense connection is PALPABLE, their banter both playful and passionate. Together, they were MAGNETIC!!!

"It’s that moment when you look at a person, and they look back at you, and you know they’re in that moment with you.”

This SLOW BURN of a story had me ON EDGE, awaiting a love connection with angst and anticipation. The push and pull was HEADY, a force that made my head spin. The sexual tension lit me on fire. I wanted to shove this heroine and hero together so many times!

Desire. He feels it too, right there in the air between us..

When a hero is about to bolt but does a one-eighty, changing his mind, and takes that risk, kissing her in a kiss with the power of a thousand winds, that is HERO GOLD!!! Freaking kryptonite!!!

“F**k it.” Before I can even react, he closes the distance between us and kisses me, hard..

That kiss POSSESSED ME, blazing and burning, lighting me on fire. I felt the passion and promise permeate the pages.

"I can’t wait to hear you come for me."

Holy hot!!! You can’t help but think this hot Brit’s blazing and breathless-inducing words are for you. That mouth on Jack...just YES!!!

“Let go. I’ve got you.”

Perfect Match is fun, flirty, fire-hot, and a feel-good romance guaranteed to make the heart dance. This story is so well-written—witty writing infused with humor and heart in all the write places—with a natural feel that sucks you in and keeps you wanting more. McKenna Delaney’s dating app, Perfect Match is a revolutionary app that not only match people by personality, but it also creates the perfect conditions for a successful happy ending. Who doesn’t want a happy ending, right? She is so convinced her new app is going to be a multi million dollar hit, that she takes the concept to investors looking for a backer. Once such investor is Jack Callahan. One look at Jack and McKenna has her panties in a bunch. He is sexy, confident, has great abs, a killer smile, and a sexy British accent to boot. Too bad he infuriates the hell out of her. On top of all that, he completely brushes her and her new app off. Too bad for Jack though, as McKenna does not take no for an answer.

Jack Callahan is rich. He helps new businesses by providing capitol and makes millions on his investments. He has the perfect life or so he thinks. He is currently single and is more of Mr. Right now kinda guy. Who needs a soul mate when you can date a different girl every week or when the mood suits you. When he first meets McKenna he thinks she has a lot of guts going after what she wants. Unfortunately, he doesn’t believe her dating app can predict your soul mate with just a few clicks of a button.

McKenna is determined now more than ever to show Jack the power of her app. So she sets in motion a series of bad dates for him when she hacks into his current sex dating app he has been using. His last date is with her, using her friends pics of course because he never would have swiped right if she used her own. Now that she finally has his attention maybe she can find a way for his financial backing too. They make a bet that if McKenna can find him his perfect match and soul mate within sixty days then Jack will agree to finance her project.

What starts off as a bet leads to a lot more than both of them bargained for. Whoever said opposites attract certainly was not lying!

PERFECT MATCH by Lila Monroe is a light hearted rom-com full of laughter and sexiness. You just can’t help but fall in love with the main characters. You know they are just perfect for one another even though neither sees it at first. I found myself flipping through the pages and wishing for even more when I reached the last page. Lila Monroe has quickly become a favorite of mine and I can’t wait to get my little hands on the rest of this series. If you like funny romantic comedies then you can’t go wrong from picking up a copy of PERFECT MATCH. It is well worth the read.

McKenna Delaney knows her away around numbers and she knows her app can change the world of online dating. The only thing holding her up is getting the funding required to take it out of beta testing and into a live production.

Jack Callahan isn't just a pretty face, he's worked his butt off to get where he is today. He always goes with his gut but there is something about the way McKenna pursues him that keeps him intrigued.

So in order to sign on the dotted line, he strikes a deal with her. If she wins, she gets the money she needs. If she loses, she lets him walk away no questions asked.

But the longer they spend together, the hard it becomes to fight their growing attraction.

Will they mix business with pleasure or will they never cross that line? And when a misunderstanding arises, will they be able to work through their problem to continue their venture or will it crash and burn? And is there really something about that old saying of "Opposites Attract"?

Perfect Match is a fun, witty, laugh out loud, captivating story that will have you waiting on bated breath to see what will happen next.

Jack is a walking sex dream with an accent that will melt panties with just one look. McKenna is sassy, strong, independent woman that isn't afraid to work hard to get what she wants.

I really loved how each pushed the other out of their comfort zones. Their push and pull relationship will keep the reader on their toes.

Each are a force to be reckoned with, but together they are out of this world. And when they do give into al that sexual tension... you better step back or you'll be burned with all the sparks and flames that fly. (I'm getting worked up just thinking about it.)

I always love picking up a Lila Monroe book and she's delivered us another marvelous read with Perfect Match. I read it from cover to cover in one sitting because I couldn't and didn't want to put it down.

I would highly recommend Perfect Match to anyone and everyone. It's a read that will tickle your funny bone, delight your senses, and causes you swoon. I promise, Perfect Match is book you don't want to miss.

I gave this book 4.5 stars!

I couldn't turn the pages of this book fast enough and when I got to the end I want...no I needed more. McKenna and Jack story was one that grab from the start and you better hold on because if you didn't then you would have been left in the dust. I love how McKenna was a straight shooter and didn't let fear get in her way in what she wanted. Jack at times I wanted to kick him in the toosh! But over the course of the book he started to grow on me and the I would want to go back and kick him again! I love the secondary characters just as much and I'm hoping that we might see them come to light in a book down the road!!!

McKenna has been perfecting her dating app and now she is looking for investors...after hearing the word NO so many times she is bound and determine to not to let it effect her. When she has a meeting set up with non other than self made millionaire Jack Callahan. When she arrives at his office his sectary tells her she doesn't have a meeting scheduled, she can get her in 3 months, McKenna doesn't take that lightly. When the she glances at the screen she see where Jack is and makes her way there to pitch him her dating app. When she see the place that he is at she is taken back, not out of what she came there do but out fear of heights.

Jack has had a had a lot of people want him to invest in their company's and McKenna isn't all that different, but their is something different about her. With her drive and her stubbornness he is willing to give this ago but only if she uses her app to find him his perfect match and she has 60 days to do it. He doesn't believe in love or that the app can find him true love and he is going to relish in the fact that McKenna is not going to be able to find him someone.

What happens when these two start working close together and discover that they cant keep their hands to themselves and can McKenna find someone before the 60 days are up?

The Lucky in Love series has been such a fun adventure. With each new installment taking me on a different journey as two characters are revealed and find love. In Perfect Match by Lila Monroe, our characters to love are Jack and McKenna.

She is an up and comer in the tech world with her new dating app, Perfect Match. When she approaches Jack to invest in her start up, the chemistry between these two is there from the start. While not as obvious as some stories, their journey begins to unfold as McKenna is given 60 days to find Jack’s perfect match on the app, and he will agree to invest.

As the process begins, what she didn’t realize was the attraction she’d feel for him. Their personalities are both very bold and they are both similarly strong characters that come together in this most unusual way.

As Jack’s matches on the app begin to fizzle out one by one, is his perfect match the perfect match maker herself? Keeping business and pleasure is McKenna’s priority as she doesn’t want to see her company fail getting mixed up with her investor. But the two just have such a strong pull to one another that the inevitable will happen. They just have to navigate uncharted waters together to succeed in both their personal and professional relationships. As tensions rise between them in the professional level, can their desire to be together overcome that?

This book was a quick and fun read. It was sexy and romantic and I loved both their characters and had an enjoyable time reading Perfect Match.

4 Stars!!

Gah! This book will make you swoon!

McKenna has come up with the perfect dating app, aptly named Perfect Match. Now, she just needs to get the funding so can officially launch the app. Enter Jack Callahan, investor extrodinaire, noted playboy with sexy as hell English accent and a body that doesn't quit. McKenna goes to some pretty great lengths (or heights) to get a meeting with Callahan and when she finally does, he shuts her down. She offers a bet, if her app can find him the perfect match within 60 days, he will give her $1 million dollars and become a minority stakeholder. The rest of the story shows just how unexpected love and life can be.

I have read all the books in this series and this is by far my favorite. McKenna and Jack are great. You can't help but love them both. McKenna's friends and coworkers are great secondary characters. The book is a little opposites attract, a little bit of forbidden romance and a tiny bit enemies to lovers (but just a tiny bit). I enjoyed the little bit of reluctance on McKenna's part to get involved with Jack who is her co-worker of sorts. I also really enjoyed the social commentary that Lila Monroe wrote into the story. Jack is hard not to love and I was rooting for him all along. There is some interference from outside sources and for you haters of OM/OW, well, it's there, sort of, but only as an added twist to the plot and not in an annoying way.

A fun, LOL romance that could your perfect match for a weekend read!

i.. have a little mixed feeling about it, it was all fine, all good, the characters, how the story flow it all up to my liking until that certain scene which frustrated me & makes me ramble about it on my recent progress update. It's not as fatal as the certain scene from another book that makes me skim the rest of the story or worst dnf it but it's similar, just slightly not as dumb as that and both parties have shares on that stupid mistake not pure one side mistake.

McKenna the main characters are driven & a hard worker woman who know what she want and will work hard to achieve it, in this case her Perfect Match app, she doesn't give up when Jack, the love interest slash potential investor doesn't take her that seriously at first though finally he realized that her app do have big potential. As they spend time together they slowly and unconsciously start to attracted and enjoy each other company so much, their banter are hilarious and heartwarming, and as much as they tried to keep their relationship professional, they can't deny their attraction & desire. It's all well both their relationship and their project progress, just that conflict towards the end of the book give me headache, i also think it got resolve so easily without much fight, that's my only complaint that makes my rating decrease slightly, but again it's just not fit my preference doesn't mean it won't fit yours too, give it a go if you're still curious about it.
Overall it's a good story, the writing style is easy and fun to read it makes you having a hard time to put it down.
