Jeune adolescent timide de 16 ans, Norito n'a qu'un rêve : devenir mangaka ! Ses débuts sont assez laborieux, mais pour plaire à la belle Asune, il redouble d'efforts. Rin, 16 ans, a été repérée par une agence de jeunes Idoles. Même si ses talents de médium font parler d'elle, elle refuse la célébrité. Bien qu'improbable, leur rencontre semble inévitable et pourrait bien bouleverser leur avenir.

Sakuishi has a wide variety of interests which include baseball (he is a huge Chunichi Dragons fan), martial arts, MMA, and music (he is a huge Red Hot Chili Peppers fan).
Each of these has become the basis for his most popular series (baseball in Stopper Busujima, fighting in Bakaichi, and music in Beck).
His series also often include character cameos from his past works; one of the newspaper reporters in Beck is actually from Stopper Busujima and so on. Additionally, he's a big fan of Sangokushi (Romance of the Three Kingdoms) with an altered version of that story appearing in Beck written by "Christy Sakuishi".
In Beck he included many famous people in background crowds. These included many popular musicians, characters from Happy Sangokushi and MMA legends Royce Gracie and Kazushi Sakuraba.

Naikin dari 2☆ jadi 4☆ setelah baca volume 8-10. Untung nggak jadi di-drop. Sebenarnya dari awal komiknya memang unik dan menarik, tapi saya agak terganggu sama hal-hal yang random bin supernatural. Di volume-volume yang terakhir saya baca, hal-hal itu lenyap, plotnya jadi lebih fokus, dan ada momen-momen klimaks emosional yang sangat bagus di volume 10.

Review lengkap akan menyusul pas komiknya sudah tamat (di volume 14) siapa tahu nanti jadi aneh lagi.

Ketika membaca volume 1, ekspektasi awal saya adalah ini Bakuman-nya Sakuishi sensei. Namun meleset!!
Alur ceritanya terkesan lambat, seolah kita masih belum melihat dimana titik temu antara Rin dan Fushimi. Ternyata sensei membangun Rin dg pola pikir out of the box. Unsur2 supernatural yg "menemani" perjalanan Fushimi baru muncul di eps 3. Namun dengan kehadiran tokoh2 yg unik, menurut sy hal itulah yg membuat pembaca mampu bertahan menyimak serial ini.
