I think it is interesting but time consuming. It is better considered after your main income streams are running systematically.

A practical plan for creating a cash machine

If even a small flame of entrepreneurship flickers within you, and if you define yourself by action rather than by dreams, Loral Langemeier’s book provides a plan to help you get a profitable new business up and running in a matter of weeks. getAbstract finds her book pleasantly – and maybe overly – optimistic. Even if her slightly clunky writing style isn’t beautiful, it is energetic and very sunny. Langemeier tells you how to create a cash-generating business, including building your company, assembling a team to provide your company with any skills you lack and managing your firm as it matures. She never discusses negative outcomes because she knows you are smart and talented enough to take effective action and make money with your cash machine.

Quote from the book... "Forget about a savings plan, and consider instead the excitement of a spending plan"... Did I read well?... After pg 2, my wife was telling not to read the book. I finished it anyway and I am glad I read it. It gives a good perspective on what it takes to start a business. I like her idea of starting something that already uses your skills. The idea is to start something that will generate cash for you immediately, and then with the cash flows start your dream business.

Great, practical workbook to start a business. Not a sexy startup, but a more practical, immediately-profitable businesses - window washing, tutoring, etc. A mindset that starts with your skillset and immediately apply it, freeing you up to learn about running a business well and scaling it up profitably. A far cry from the idealistic start-with-your-dream-business way that currently dominates the business genre. You can have your cupcake, after you fund it with a working cash machine.
