The things a girl’s gotta do to marry the alien love of her life.

Leave my new found home in the midst of an Interplanetary war, so we can travel to his home planet: Check.

Try really hard NOT to jump my soon-to-be husband’s sexy bones while we participate in his people’s version of a wedding : Check.

Remember my promise to everyone I care about to keep calm and not get stabby: Maybe check.

As I navigate a new planet while trying to learn Rema’s culture and traditions - while avoiding assassination attempts and catty females - our friends are scattered to the far corners of space, and the enemy is making their next move. The pressure is on to find our happiness while we can…

I just hope Rema’s ready for a lifetime with me and my psychopathic tendencies and my need to fully enjoy every bit of his gorgeous *ahem* body. Because after all this, when I finally get my hands on.. it, there is zero chance I am letting him escape.

So to recount..
Get married
Bang
Return to our ship - bringing support from the Neldre if I have anything to say about it.
Reunite with my girls
Move towards putting the Unity out of business for good.
Yeah, simple right?

It’s a good thing I’m so calm and totally sane, or someone would get redrum-ed…kidding.

I started writing because I wanted to flip the script on some of my favorite tropes. I wanted tall, morally gray buff ladies who were the hero. I wanted the dragon shifter to be a girl who rescues the knight.

Odd jump

The book was ok. It's just jumping in with Patty's story before finishing out Jack's, was an odd move. I feel like this should be a companion series, accompanying Jack's but separate from. Or divide it, half Patty's POV, half Jack's. I adore Patty and her bloodthirsty, maniacal, proud of her life self. But we left Jack at a critical point, we left Callie at a critical point, and rather than jumping to them, we jump to Patty? And, while I appreciate consent in all things, the near puritanical demands of the males vs the females doing whatever pleases them was beyond strange and never explained. How did that become the cultural norm? How are the Ns (can't remember the species name) able to collect men to their harem if the men can't do anything till marriage? Is harem admittance marriage? Nothing of the culture is explained. They're living in the palace in the capital city and not a peep. We got a better description of the Korsal culture than one that is enmeshed into the lives of our main characters. We still haven't been given a cultural background of Ohem's people. And he had 2 books with Jack. Aside from the odd story jump, unanswered questions, and general madness, the grammatical errors abound. Possessives and plurals are mixed up, homonyms are swapped out, words dropped and added randomly, punctuation is hit or miss, and tenses change mid-sentence. It feels rushed. I'd rather wait for a polished project than be jerked out of a story by editing. Lure readers with brief short stories in newsletters, via Ream or other platforms, or something else to keep interest piqued. But the hardest part for me to forgive is the focus jump. We never even got a POV from Patty in Jack's stories. The sudden change is just...jarring. At least skewing to Callie would have made some semblance of sense.

so with 100% transparency, i never read the first two books and there is a summary in the beginning but i was so confused about all the characters at first, but as i read it made more sense. but i was just going along for this hilarious, sweet and spicy ride 🥵

Patty….Patty Patty Patty what can i say about Patty? i loved her SO much. a recovering addict and a former sex worker who was wholly confident in who she was and took no shit and spoke her mind?! gods i wish i could be more like patty.

Rema was so perfect for her 🥹 a giant VIRGIN sexy cinnamon roll elf with a massive pierced schlong AND A KNOT?! a fucking knot 🥵

i loved how even though they don’t fully bone until 85% this book was still SO hot 😳 the tension, the foreplay, the realistic scene of trying to fit a massive alien dick into a tiny human. but this was also SO FUCKING SWEET. the shit Rema said was just 😭😭😭😭😭 the best.

don’t let me forget about the Queen and her mate. i’m so glad Rema had people that cared about him and loved him. i wish certain people got harsher punishments than they did but we can’t have it all i guess 😂

my only gripes are more personal preferences. like the fact that Rema’s POV was third person and sometimes there were inconsistencies when the chapter switched back to Patty but it didn’t take me out of the story. this was a total hit for me!

i did receive this as an ARC and i am so so so very grateful ☺️

Ok so, I desperately wanted to give this 5 stars. Let's talk about what's good in this book first.

1) I loved the intimate scenes between Patty and Rema. They're so heartfelt and lovely. Usually you see a trade-off with saucy, promiscuous fmcs where you get rough, hot sex and less intimate, meaningful moments. They both like each other and want to tear each other's clothes off. It's fun.

Since that's 75% of the book, I was well fed and happy.

Now, it loses a star because of the following:

1) Rema and Patty, despite going through trials, don't actually face any conflict. They get along perfectly and there's no dip or conflict that truly challenges their unity. They're well-established killing machines and the brunt of the conflict seems to be happening in the other branches of their found family. And the whole family conflict and potential assassinations barely made a dent. They were wrapped up so quickly, I'm left wondering if there was any point in them happening at all.

2) Once again I struggle with Sunderland's tactical world conception. Why would Sam be in charge of interplanetary alliance? It's seems like a massive oversight to send the three top ranking officers off into the wider galaxy after you've defacto declared war on the govt. Also, while Sam is smart and driven, she's in no way qualified to be in that position. The only reason it makes sense is from a plot progression standpoint and it still doesn't hold well.

Since 75% of the book is fluffy flirting and heavy petting, I'm still happy because it's sweet and wholesome and just what the Dr ordered. But it felt more like a side novel that book 3 in the series. It really disrupted the flow of the larger conflict to have this book be in the middle. And I'm anticipating that Callie is going to get her own book soon which will mean even more departure from the main fleet and plot. If you're gonna stage a large intergalactic gore fest, I wanna see it.

DISCLAIMER: I received an ARC copy from the author in exchange for a review. This in no way biased my opinions or review.

This was a fun book. I love Rema!! His blushing, so cute. Him and Patty were a great couple, I really enjoyed how in sync they were with each other. Learning more about Patty’s transformation and how she can taste emotions was cool. Getting to see where Rema is from and his background was interesting as well. I also enjoyed Rema coming out of his shell more as the book went on.
My only gripe is that I wish there would’ve been more from the overarching storyline to move the series forward.
I hope that the series continues. I would like to see what happens next!

*RIP That Pussy*

I got this book as an ARC and I am already contemplating an immediate re-read.

Patty is life. I need more Patty in every book ever. She is crude, rude, with a hell of an attitude. Her brunt nature makes EVERYONE love her including my new OTP, Imma and Dhenea. #oppositesattract. We totally stan a cinnamon roll BF who has a kinky dominant side. I expected more smut, but there was TONS of not intercourse spice that left me buzzing. But seriously, sorrows and prayers for Patty's pussy.

This book was nothing but murder, mayhem, and making love. I laughed so freaking much. Pardon me as I YEET this book at ever single person I meet.

"Excuse me, but have you heard of our Lord and Savior, Patty Dells?" Bitch is cray-cray and DTF at all times. She is QUEEN. All hail the demon plant lady!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Okay, now that I got that out of my system... i received this as an ARC.
I do want to say I was a bit disheartened when I heard the next few books are not through Jack and Ohem's eyes. I grew to love the story through Jack and her whole style and personality. I wanted to continue seeing the story through her unhinged mind. But when I started to read through Patty's point of view, I was thrown into an equally unhinged, if a bit more maniacal story through Patty's eyes. I still want Jack to be the main P.o.v, but I do not want to be without Patty, and I can't wait to read Callie and Sam's stories!
I loved Patty and Rema's story! Patty is so very much Patty in this book, actually more because it's through her eyes and her sassy attitude. Rema is still such a shy cinnamon roll, but his spicier side comes out a lot!
Patty and Rema travel to Rema's homework to convince his queen and people to join the war against the Unity and to get married! Rema's people are matriarchal, and the men need to prove themselves worthy to be wed. So, they undergo mating obstacles to prove their skills.
While working through these tests, Rema's family proves to be... well, difficult b*tches who need to pull their heads out of their butts!
The queen and her wife are just to die for!
Patty and the queen and her wife have such a fun relationship and had me smiling a lot!
True to Alisha's style, this book is a freaking blast! A full-on action-packed, sassy b*tch filled, funny, sweet, spicy, wild adventure!
But damn that ending and cliff-hanger 😭 I need to be inside Alishas mind!
This series is a comfort to read. You know that one series that you absolutely love? The one that even if there are small things that should be fixed or something you don't care about but still love? This series is mine!! I can't wait for the next books ❤️

4.5/5 🌟 Maybe 5

Right, well, welcome to the newest instalment of Alisha’s series, “Not Your Mama’s Alien Romance” (book 3).

My advice is to read it. Honestly, that’s probably all I really need you to understand.

This one is about Patty and Rema, and their journey to his home planet. It’s plenty different to Jack and Ohem’s story (as it should be) but once again, Alisha stays true to writing the heroines as the violent, strong, possessive characters in the story and I am so here for it! Not to mention, Patty is the right crazy (honestly, read: psychotic) but also adores Rema in the way he deserves. And Rema, of course, is just so supportive and accepting of Patty and all her insanity… it’s definitely part of why he’s attracted to her.

As far as the story goes, there’s both the continuation of the war efforts and their courting. We meet Rema’s family *gags*, and the Neldre Queen and her wife *swoons*. There specific courting challenges which had to be undertaken by the couple, which were so much fun! And violent… plenty of insanity ensued. The end was jarring in the best way, and the cliffhanger isn’t so intense that I want to strangle Alisha (which is counterproductive really anyway).

OK, here’s the key points I always want to know before reading a book:

POV: Both Patty and Rema. Alisha has done a great job of ensuring very distinctive voices
Spice: I’d probably rate it about 2.5 on the spice scale. There’s plenty of sexual tension, but the story is more focused on their courting
Burn: Ssslllooowwww
Equipment: Rema has a knot *squee!!!* and a monster in his slacks. Patty genuinely has a rough time getting him to fit, and it was actually refreshing seeing size issues not being glossed over
Series / Standalone: As I mentioned, Patty and Rema’s story is part of the “Not Your Mama’s Alien Romance“ series. Aside from Jack and Ohem’s story which was spread over two books, the other characters have a single book each. Honestly, they’re so integrated into Jack’s story that it’s a seamless flow on.

Favourite quotes (and yeah, it’s probably half the book honestly):

Patty:
~ “I hadn’t meant to set him on fire, it was only that my hand slipped and the torch fell. How was I supposed to know that he’d been dosed in some super flammable oil? I mean… I’d poured it on him, but he’d gone up fast.”
~ “…but my pussy gave a twinge of reminder that she’d pack up her shit and leave if I so much as hinted at wanting to go another round right now … Maybe she’d stay awhile? It was only a little damage, after all. Hardly worth crying over.”
~ Patty raised her hand. “Uh, actually, he fu*ked me into a stupor and I think I made his attitude worse. Sorry.”

Rema:
~ “Come, Rema. You know I can’t read.” “Ah, but they are holo files. So even one such as you can understand. I had Anu speak very slowly.”
~ “Noted. Well, what about you, Rema? What do you like? What makes you tick?” She did. By the old gods, she did.

The Queen:
~ To Patty - “You laugh while you k*ll, did you know that? Maniacal laughter. Rema looks at you with lust in his eyes when your insanity makes an appearance. I approve.”
~ Quoting Callie - “She told me to get my flying, queenly a*s the fu*k out of her airspace.”

Dhenea:
~ To Patty - “Of course I have lubricant. Have you met my wife?”
~ “Really? A poisoned muffin? Could they be any more juvenile?”

Amee:
~ To Patty - “We know you did it, Patty. You were standing at the scene… laughing. I believe the words you were singing were “roasty toasty” over and over again.”

Triggers:
While there’s quite a few, it’s definitely not what I’d call a dark story, more a dark comedy. However, it does contain graphic violence, gore, d*ath, civilian casualties, war, mentions of past drug use and s*x work, past child abuse of FMC, and homelessness. Mentions of human trafficking, attempted assassination, bullying, xenophobia, graphic s*x.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC and am definitely leaving a voluntary and entirely honest review… (*cough* looking at you, Amazon).

This was another fun read from Sunderland. There were definitely a few spots where Patty’s antics had me laughing out loud. She’s a delightful menace.

While the last book was a solid 5 stars, I think Crouching Woman just eeks out at four.

But first, the good:
- Patty’s thoughts while zoning out were highly entertaining. Her take on how absolutely creepy Furbies are was great 😂
- The added sensory experience with Patty being able to taste people’s emotions. It added a really interesting and unique aspect to the book, though I really would’ve liked to see it used with more depth.
- Found family again! But this time for Rema. I think I enjoyed reading about these relationships even more than the one between the Rema and Patty 😬 I would’ve loved for Rema’s relationship with his pseudo-adopted family to be explored a lot more.
- The courting rituals that Patty and Rema went through together. Though we only saw a few of them, they sucked me in every time
- The battle scenes. I think this is one of Sunderland’s strongest areas- the pacing is always so good, and I can see it all play out so well in my mind.

The not so good:

So much of the book was spent talking about how horny Patty and Rema were for each other, at the expense of some underdeveloped plot points. The book just kind of skimmed the surface of Rema’s relationship with his found family, the courting rituals ended up taking a back seat, and it didn’t feel like there were any real stakes or conflict with the relationship between Patty and Rema.

Something I loved about Zero Dark Bloodthirsty was how we got to really explore the history of the Rijiterans, and understand how things came to be. While I expect things to be different in Crouching Woman because we are following a completely different person, I still felt like we lost all the depth we had gained in the last book.

Still, I absolutely enjoyed this book! It was light and easy, and I could totally see it being a comfort read. Looking forward to the next books in the series!

I am loving this series so much!!

This series by Alisha Sunderland is awesome! It has the perfect mix of romance, smut, adventure, and snark. I laugh and then sigh and then get all caught up in battle fever. I honestly can't put the book down until I've finished it.

One-click author for me, I’m absolutely in love with Alisha’s writing style. Patty and Rema’s story did not disappoint. If anything I thought Patty was well-behaved, lol.
Unlike the first two books, this one is slow burn because of Rema’s traditions. But, this couple did always find ways to show each other how much they adore each other in other ways. I love that the women are all competent but flawed and the men are such grumpy sunshines.
This story had all the elements that spell binds you to it, until the end. Then you just scream because well there is a da*n cliffhanger!
Loved the story, loved the couple, love this series.
I pre-ordered well ahead of this ARC copy for my honest review.

It has been a journey to travel through this series with Jack and her chosen clan. This is the first deviation to dive into new dual povs of Patty and Rema’s relationship as a direct continuation from Zero Dark Blood Thirsty. It gave me the impression this is a side arc or side mission that was appropriate to aid in the main story’s progression.

If you’re a fan of the series or new to reading this book on its own, I would still highly recommend this book. I wish I could give it 4 or 5 stars, but there’s a couple discrepancies that were hard to look past but I have also included what kept me engaged.

Patty’s narration was too similar to Jack’s feelings and mannerisms. I could see how she’s written to be unique with her thoughts and enhanced senses and abilities. But it was like reading Jack with replaced vines instead of transformation abilities. One could excuse that they’re similar being bloodthirsty predators but even the playful and crass interactions with other new and old characters was very Jack’s style. Jack and her clan can have the same friends but honestly, we act differently in a group vs 1:1 time with different members based on personality.

Among the trials for our mcs, the final one felt like I was missing a page. I didn’t understand how we went from a ballroom of people to hot and steamy scene in a different room. I felt disconnected and went back to reread it 4 times, I still sadly couldn’t follow the transition.

Lastly, the logistics of how the group from our first book has come into being such an integral part of the war efforts. I don’t understand the logistics of how Sam and Callie have been built up to be as good as they are when we have aliens with advanced technology that have years of recognized combat and strategy experience. I can’t say it’s not possible but I don’t see how these aliens are like “let’s have them lead our seasoned teams and we’ll take the backseat.” I do appreciate a slight mention of how most races are matriarchs so no one questions the value of our female heroes. But I wouldn’t put untrained civilians to now command fleets. Take advice and gain insights together, yes that is great. Put them in the command center doesn’t match up for me. Rebels vs Unity, it is a stretch.

What works for this book:
The steamy slow burn scenes, my word. I love my books to have a slow burn that just teases us for majority of the book and then we get the pay off. It was worth the wait!

The sequence of events from start to finish of being an ambassador to making progress towards the war efforts with Patty and Rema, it worked quite well for their mission. As for their relationship, it feels like certain parts are quite surface level but it is explained why they can’t be more in-depth couple with the war efforts. That’s reasonable.

An unexpected surprise is that I felt a little teary eyed to get a glimpse into Rema’s background and being reminded that he is well supported by his “adoptive” family was a beautiful add. His vulnerability was relatable and real. I honestly enjoyed his chapters the most.

Overall, this series is well-written and it is addictively engaging. It is like watching a live action movie and we want to see what happens next with more violence, action, spiciness, lovable characters, and comic reliefs with relatable references with the current times. The ending without spoilers reminded me why I get pumped reading this series. And we get more in 2024. I am too excited!!!

Full disclosure, I received an ARC in exchange for a review.“

Gleeful Goblin Review: Something I absolutely adore about this series is the dialogue, both internal and external from these characters but ESPECIALLY from Patty. The way the dialogue is written is so conversational and realistic that it feels very much like reading someone's direct thoughts. And considering how unfiltered Patty is, I find that deeply satisfying. A great example I feel is super early on in this book: "The shuttle was from the Solus, black and menacing. The rear ramp was open and there were a few boxes waiting tucked into a corner and held there by some kind of shimmering metal straps. I was becoming really prejudiced because I couldn’t help but scowl at the black shuttle. “Uh, Anu? Where the hell is my Rijiteran ship?” There was distinct humor in Anu’s voice when she answered me. It’s in orbit. I had your own ship made along with the one I sent Jack on. You can’t very well arrive for a diplomatic mission in only a shuttle, now can you? I grinned. “Aww. You are the sweetest, potentially homicidal killer AI that ever existed and don’t let anyone tell you differently.” You know very well that I am not just an AI, Patty. True. Anu was some ancient Rijiteran Empress. One who had decided to upload her consciousness into their network via her nanos to protect the legacy the fleeing survivors of the Red Plague had left behind in the Archive, but it was fun to fuck with her. “That’s just what an evil AI would say.” Jack should have smothered you in your sleep a long time ago. “Stop talking dirty to me, Anu. I’ll come,” I said, skipping into the shuttle to take my seat on the lava bench thing and letting Rema strap me in just so he’d touch me, his knuckles brushing my bre@sts as he pulled the lever down over me and locked it in."

If you've made it to this book in the series I definitely hope you know what you're in for in terms of steam but I will say this book doesn't disappoint at ALL. Patty is aggressive in the best ways and seeing Rema's reactions gave me endless amusement. This is a rip roaring good time and I thoroughly recommend you pick this book up if you like your scifi romances as f¡lthy as they are fun. 5/5 Stars

Good

Patty and Rema

We travel to Rena’s homeworld, firstly for his family’s blessing so they can marry; and secondly to get his people on board with the war against the Unity.
Since Rema’s family rather disapprove of him, Patty isn’t entirely sure it is going to go to plan!

This is the third book in this alien sci-fi romance series, but the first with Patty as the narrator/heroine.
The recap at the beginning is arguably one of the best I’ve read- I both appreciate the thought, and died laughing at some of it. Like the entire series, it’s hilariously outrageous at times. Patty is a hoot, and though her bestie Jack is still my favourite, Patty is an entertaining character. I will also admit that a certain Queen also gets credit for being an amazing character.
Rema is a sweet-but-strong cinnamon roll hero, and I admit to enjoying his dual personality quirks- and I admire his strength of character.

I’ve been enjoying this series, and quite frankly I’m looking forward to the next couple of books too, because of how much larger than life the characters are. I love that they’re over the top, outspoken, and a little crazy; it’s a beautiful way to lighten up a series that is really dealing with some dark characters and actions.
It’s an entertaining read, with enjoyable characters, and a fascinating world view. I’m especially excited to hear Callie’s story, and see what happens when Jack brings the Rijiterans back with her!
This is well worth your reading time, especially if you’re a sci-fi romance lover (especially dark, very spicy, SFR).

⭐2.5 (rounded down) - meh

This really robbed me the wrong way lots of the time... You would think a smoll murder bean would be fun to read about but in this book it fell short. I liked Patty as a side-character but as the main character... Nope.

Then you have the 'plot' of this story. It is all vibes and absolutely no thought went into the world-building. Like the whole culture to which Rema belongs just doesn't stand up as a whole. It changes with every 'cool' detail added and it drove me bonkers.
Which is a bit hypocritical of me because it didn't bother me before in the earlier books. I just laughed at all of the shenanigans. But in this story the shenanigans just made me roll my eyes.

Then you have all of the sex scenes. Which wasn't that bad but seriously, when did some SQUICK became a thing in romance books? It is something I've only encountered in fanworks and then I'm a lot more forgiving because I always think the writer must be young in age or new to the romance genre. Later on it, when it happened again, consent was asked/discussed but the first time it shocked me.

So not for me but if you like a story build on vibes and a murdery main character with lots of sex in it, this is the book for you.

It’s still fun and very entertaining—probably the two words I keep coming back to when summing up my thoughts on each book in this series.

I love stories that make me think, the kind that touch on themes like the human condition, morality, and society. I enjoy characters with real depth—never just good or bad, but layered and complicated in ways that feel believable. And I’m always drawn to plots that are well put together and engaging, the kind that pull you in so completely you don’t even notice how hooked you are until the end.

But sometimes, I’m just not in the mood for that. I just want to relax and have a good time with a fun story that doesn’t ask anything of me except to enjoy the ride. And this series has been exactly that—fun, entertaining, amusing, action-packed, and yes, very horny. Or in Patty’s and Rema’s case, very very horny.

I thought I did not see that coming. I guess we know what the next book will be about. XD

An emotional, fun and riveting read

This is one of the funniest, sexiest, twisted books that I have read.
Patty is a caring, maniacal, fruit loop who manages to be completely sane at the same time. It was super fun to get inside her head and to see how she ticks… and some of the things she did just made me outright giggle!
Rema is such a sweetie and he is so in love with Patty, so much so that he would do absolutely anything for her. I don’t know how he survives or doesn’t combust when Patty teases him. In a lot of ways they are the perfect couple and make this book such fun to read!
It wasn’t just Patty and Rema that made the story but Imma and Dhelea rounded off the story as well. I loved the twists and turns, the big reveals, and those hidden gems that added so much to the story.
What an ending to the book! It was super fun and emotional and it has left me on a knife-edge wanting more.
I didn’t think that this series could get better but it has!

I Absolutely Love This Book!

I loved this book! Can't say it enough! Patty and Rema are just fantastic characters that draw you in and I have to admit made me laugh at their antics especially Patty's!
Rema's birth family does NOT put FUN in Dysfunctional. In fact they are not nice at all, in fact they are horrible! There is family you are born with and family you pick and Rema's "adopted" family on his planet is worth fighting for! And Rema's birth family better watch out because Patty is not going to put up with their crap at all! And Patty has the power to back it up!
I have to say I did some laughing at some of the parts and wanted to Patty to kick some butt and she does with some help! This book has it all.... Humor, Love, Family Drama, Kicking A*s and taking names!
If you haven't read the first 2 books then I definitely recommend that you read them in order! I CAN'T WAIT for more! Thank you Alisha Sunderland for such a fantastic series!

I am addicted to this series and bloody love it. I guess my only criticism is there's too much sex, I wanted to get back to the story/ plot and it was annoying af.

The plot is so utterly enthralling that every time they started getting frisky i just thought quit already n get me back to the plot, the story is THAT good.

The consumation scene, honestly I found the whole thing cringe worthy not least because I kept thinking of vaginal tears n abrasions, believe me if you've ever had a big dick you know what I'm talking about! I didnt find it sexy at all.

So for these two reasons it lost a star.

The author can clearly write amazing stories, and whilst a bit of sex is good, too much gets in the way.

Awesome read though. I need book 4 n 5 already!!!

I LOVE THIS SERIES. The women are wicked, smart, confident, funny and a tad bloodthirsty and unhinged.

Maybe spoilerish?

The queen and Patty? They need a side series of unsupervised shenanigans. Rema? Such a wonderful devoted partner and his blushing was so damn cute. Also monster equipment that was treated as such (I really appreciated that, authors tend to pretend it will all just work). The amount of times I laughed manically were too many. I think my husband was concerned. Callie killed me with her first line in the book. Kicking my feet cackling. I cannot wait for the rest of this series.

Just finished the first 3 books and I’m so invested! I really need Callie’s book RIGHT NOW ALISHA!

If you’re at this point, reading this review, I’m sure you’ve read the first 2 already, but just incase you haven’t… this is unhinged Patty and blushing Rema’s story after following Jack and Ohem for 2 books. I feel like this was a great spot to leave off with Jack and follow Patty.

I do feel like the ‘problems’ were very easily solved in this book, maybe a little too easy? Didn’t bother me enough to warrant a loss of stars though. Patty is sufficiently unhinged and Rema rightfully worships the ground she walks on.

Can’t wait to read what Callie and Aga have been up to!!

I discovered An American Werewolf in Space last year and have just loved the FMCs and space adventures that Alisha Sutherland writes. Those ladies are lethal and its just so much fun. Patty is pure chaos in her story and Rema is *chef's kiss*. Spice is 5 🌶 with all the extra 🍆 for my fellow monster lovers.

I especially adore Imma and Dhenea's relationship as side characters. “Imma presented me with the six severed heads of my enemies as a courting gift. I still have the cleaned skulls in my quarters.” That about sums up the vibes of this book.

I can't wait to see whose story comes up next.

Deliciously dark, sinful and scorching hot!
Defenitly not your momma romance, much more than that!A powerfull tale of a strong, blunt and a bit psico woman and her sweet warrior when they travel as embassadors to his planet and get married. There's where the troubes start....no spoilers because it's an absolute MUST READ!
Just saying that Rema in the arena melts any panties and Patty ,with her dirty mouth and dark sense of humor left me a bit in love with her!

Great sci fi adventure with romance

I wasn't sure I'd like a book with insane sociopath Patty as the main character, but I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the story. Yes, there's graphic violence with a definite body count (there is a war going on). But Patty and Rema are an engaging couple, and Imma and her consort are awesome. There is graphic sex and some funny, graphic discussions of sex. The ending is a slight cliffhanger.

Disappointing

Loved the first book, liked the second but this one really wasn't very good. Very little story, just crusty lust...ugh. The entire story was patty trying to get laid . pretty much the Whole time. I started skimming at 60% blah, blah, blah until I got to the end and plop. Done. I don't see myself spending any money on the next book. Shame, I wouldn't liked to read about the actual characters and the war they were fighting.

Eeeeeeee we got Rema and Pattys story. I have been putting this off because I know I would devour this book. Scary Queen Mammy (Imma) is bad a$$ and so is there mate Dhenea. Love them and how they get along with Patty and sport Rema. And yes we Aga kicking butt. As well and a big surprise in the end. When everyone gets back together it is going to be something. But I think we have more before that guess we will see.

Was so excited to finally get this and delve into the lives of these wonderful characters. This is book 3 in the series and features Patty and Rema. And it was such a great read. It had everything we have had in the first two, humour, adventure and those sexy times! 🌶🌶😁 Can't wait for more. Oh... and just loved the art by Vamorii!! 😍😍

i probably should have given this book 6 stars, i had not thought that a book with just Patty and Rema would be so engaging, but it was impossible to stop reading.
First of all... Patty is a strong role model, she knows exactly her worth.
Rema's people have been a surprise, the Queen is a wild card, and i can't wait to see her interaction with the Earth delegation.. aka Jack's mom!
