Beautiful Pieces #3

Erik's Refuge

Rate this book
The choice is simple…surrender or perish.

In the blink of an eye, he became her everything. Her hero. Her savior. Her whole world. Hannah and Erik are finally building the future she’s longed for…but it doesn’t include a family. Erik’s already felt the pain of losing a child before he even experienced the joy of holding them in his arms. It’s not something he’ll risk again.

So when Hannah begins to notice symptoms, and a test confirms her suspicions, her happy reality comes to a screeching halt. Forced to pivot, she can only pray Erik is willing to do the same.

Found at his most broken, put back together piece by piece by the strongest, most incredible woman he’s ever met, Erik considers himself as whole as he’s going to get. He’s found the light at the end of the long, dark, desolate tunnel that had been his life for so long, and emerged on the other side a new man, capable of giving Hannah the future she deserves.
Until she tells him her secret.

For the woman he loves, Erik will struggle to heal his one remaining wound. A feat made more difficult when an old enemy resurfaces…determined to tear Erik’s whole world asunder once again.

The exciting, emotional conclusion to the Beautiful Pieces serial! All three books are now available on Kindle Unlimited, and I recommend enjoying them in order: Erik's Salvation, Erik's Redemption, and Erik's Refuge. Thank you for your patience in giving Erik and Hannah their happy ever after.

Part 3/3

2 🙄🙄⭐️s

All in all, this series was action packed and the romance was there though secondary, plenty twists and turns.
The dual pov was in 3rd person written and I can’t say that I enjoyed it much.

Too farfetched, dragging at some points, cliche yet a very suspenseful soap opera.

Reading the last part was arduous. My tolerance limits were exceeded. I lost counting the times the heroine was either attacked or injured.

I promise, all answers are coming your way. Granted, some answers cause more questions, but even those lead to more answers eventually. And now? Now we have more protectors, more danger, a ghost that is very much alive, and someone or someone’s looking to destroy everything they can, just to feel some satisfaction at the destruction they cause.

Erik also has a long road ahead, but he’s finding that it’s easier to travel when he opens up. He does the very thing people who’ve survived traumatic events do. He finds the right outlet, the right person to help find the tools, and the right support system to help him and those around him through the hard times. He’s even going to have to like the one man he swears he can never truly like, all because that one person loves Erik’s reason for being just as much as Erik himself does.

And when it all comes to a head, when all the answers are out in the open, we have the beginning of even more stories teased. I’m pretty sure Rachel, Brigid, and Andi have some loving to find, as do the men who I think already want that love. I can’t wait to see if I’m right!

I have loved every single book in this series, and Erik’s Refuge was an absolutely perfect ending! I loved everything about this book from beginning to end. Nyssa did an excellent job wrapping up some of the loose ends from the beginning of the series, as well as giving us fresh suspense and angst. This book picks up right where book 2 ended. Hannah is still being hunted as it were, and Erik is feeling the pressure to protect her. Pretty early on the book someone important from Hannah’s past comes back into her life. The man after Hannah is not going to give up, and is determined to get her. Hannah and Erik also have some seriously heavy issues to deal with now that Hannah is pregnant. There is so much that happens in this book and I don’t want to give any of it away!

The action and suspense was nonstop in this one. Hannah and Erik both went through the wringer, emotionally and physically. I have to say I loved how Nyssa wrote Erik’s struggle with her pregnancy. This man is so ridiculously brave. He proves time and again just how much he loves Hannah. And Hannah is such an amazing FMC. I just love her determination and courage. I loved getting a deeper look into some of our side characters as well. I feel like we’re going to be getting more visits to this town in future books and I’m really excited about that! Fingers crossed for a book for Nate, Jake and Rhys!! I have absolutely loved this series! Erik and Hannah’s story was heart wrenching, full of emotion, suspense, danger and of course, spice and romance! Nyssa never fails to give us stories that keep us hooked from page one!

I have absolutely loved this series. And Nyssa is an amazing author, I often message her on Instagram and she interacts which is a dream. This books was one I NEEDED the arc. There was no way I’d survive without it until release day 😜

This books picks up right where book 2 left off and then wraps up beautifully. Nyssa gives us the closure we need and brings all the loose ends together for us.

This books is full of angst, nonstop action and suspense but also love. Nyssa has this beautiful way of developing her characters and bringing real issues that are tough into her books but showing how people can grow through them and get out on the other side.

I highly recommend these books if you like suspense and love all wrapped in one! I’ll miss these books.

I’ve been mad at these characters through 3 books, but I seem to have forgiven them by the end of this one. I have to commend this author, because this series kept me guessing who the bad guys were and turning pages with glee until the end.

All the puzzles pieces fell into place 🧩

Loved the first book in this trilogy.
Liked the second one.
But I really did not enjoy this one.
I think these 3 books should have been one bc it got literally so repetitive towards the end I didn’t even get the point of writing it.
Idk I was just annoyed by this and wished the entire time that this whole thing happened in one book :(

*Audiobook Review*

I've had my eye on Erik since he popped up in the Mercy Ring series and am so glad he has received his HEA after everything he has been through. This series had me gripped from the start and this was an epic conclusion to his story.

Erik has shown so much growth but particularly in this book; his reaction to hearing Hannah's news was heartbreaking but allowed him to go off and do the work to earn his HEA without the fear of his past forever shadowing him. Hannah is still as tenacious as ever and wont give up on him or their family in the face of more danger coming their way as old grudges still continue to follow them. The twists and turns bring the series full circle to a satisfying conclusion with plenty of action and emotion (I did tear up at the end with Erik's gift). Brigid, Andi and Rachel are all great side characters and could easily be spun off into future series. Rachel in particular is a standout and I would love to see more of her character in future.

The duet narration was superb continuing on from the previous two books; Stella Bloom's performance as Hannah was great as she showed what a fierce woman she has become without losing her heart and kindness. Teddy Hamilton is always a solid male narrator but he really shone showing Erik's vulnerable side coming to terms with the changes in his life as well as letting go of the past.

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

**Audiobook Review**

What a way to end this trilogy! “Erik’s Refuge” is a steamy, action packed and emotional conclusion to the “Beautiful Pieces” trilogy.

Picking up where “Erik’s Redemption” left off, Hannah and Erik are working on figuring out who is coming after her. All while balancing their new relationship and what the future holds for them. Changes are coming and Hannah is worried about it will affect Erik, especially with the things he went through in the past. And someone from Hannah’s past is back as well.

The third book had it all and we got all the answers to all the questions that were from the first two books. Hannah and Erik truly had a connection that just grew with each book. Erik is caring, protective and the right guy who could give Hannah everything she needed, physically and emotionally. Hannah is incredibly sweet and goes through some crazy things in this story. Her resilience is strong and I admired her so much. Every twist and turn in the plot had me listening non-stop because I had to find out what was going to happen. Nyssa Kathryn wrote an action packed, steamy and thrilling trilogy. There are a bunch of side characters that I loved and I’m hoping we get their stories.

Stella Bloom and Teddy Hamilton narrate this audiobook in duet and they brought all of Nyssa’s words alive perfectly. I loved Stella as Hannah, her performance was beautiful and emotional. Teddy was so great as the protective and caring Erik. Erik goes through a lot and Teddy was perfect in his performance.

This is a wonderful trilogy, and Erik’s Refuge is like the Swiss Meringue Icing with delicious decorations on a three-tiered cake—it has everything you need to be fully satisfied and more.

Honestly, Hannah has the worst luck! After so many traumatic experiences, you’d think she’d run and hide. But no, she is made of much sterner stuff, thankfully, and she shows how determined and courageous she is time and time again. Erik has come a long way, too; he has to face his biggest fear, which is not an easy thing for him to do. His love for Hannah is absolute, though, so he will climb every obstacle to ensure he will be by her side.

There is so much action and drama in this third story that you literally can’t stop reading, and I couldn’t scroll fast enough to find out what was going to happen next. At times, my heart felt like it was about to jump out of my skin with the build-up of excitement and anxiety. At other times, I was chuckling out loud with some of the witty quips from characters and the antics they got up to… honestly, the descriptions were perfect.

I need to say that Leo is, without a doubt, one fantastic character, and everyone deserves a friend like him. Sometimes, the secondary characters can get left behind, but Leo’s depth of caring fills my heart every time he shares it. Likewise, he has a terrific sense of humour. I look forward to reading more from this talented author and, hopefully, about some of the fantastic secondary characters from this story.

This whole series was entertaining.

Quote:📖
“I love you, Erik. And my love for you is not temporary or fragile. I will always love you.”

Thoughts: 💡
This whole series was entertaining. I’m low key impressed with how many characters this author was able to turn into a villain. Even the good guys were slightly morally gray. They had dark troubled pasts that followed them and set all the trouble into motion. Hannah, the FMC, may not have made the same questionable choices as her boyfriend Erik, but that didn’t make her past any easier.
Their relationship is super hot and the chemistry is explosive. There isn’t a lot of smut in this book but what there is is hot AF, especially with Teddy and Stella narrating the scenes.
Blue Nose Audio did a line by line narration, and meshed each audio segment together perfectly so that the volume and pace stayed steady which made an easy listening experience.

Erik’s third book in this beautifully written BEAUTIFUL PIECES trilogy!!

Wow, what a finale!!!! Author Nyssa Kathryn has finally put this wonderful trilogy to rest. I’ve survived two cliff-hanger endings, read my way through ERIK’S SALVATION, hit REDEMPTION and now ERIK’s Refuge was so good that I hit it in one sitting. Remember each of these build upon the previous release and must be read in order.

I loved Erik and Hannah as a couple and they were put through so much. And even though I knew it would eventually work out for them, was on tenterhooks between releases just wanting the end of their story!!!

This third book really does the characters a justice, bringing them through more adversity into healing and forgiveness. It was also about letting go of the past and looking past the mistakes of others who have spent years trying to make up for unforgivable mistakes. I loved it.

Through all, Love wasn’t a magic fix it all, but their love was unconditional and that is what made ERIK’S REFUGE so magical. Ms Kathryn beautifully meld romance, suspense, heartbreak and healing making it a book that can’t be put down.

This trilogy is nothing short of beautifully written, giving credence to it’s name BEAUTIFUL PIECES. It most certainly is and this final book needs to have more stars than a measly 5✨️🖤💜✦

What a finish to Erik and Hannah’s story! I’m pretty sure I’ve hit every emotion with this trilogy! Each time we can nearly see the happy ending at the end of their tunnel, Erik and Hannah’s relationship is tested yet again as their past’s collides with their present and future….Erik surprises himself with his feelings over the discovery of a pregnant Hannah, and Hannah worries continuously over the stress she is causing Erik and everyone around her. In order to track down an enemy that just won’t disappear, and to protect Hannah and their baby, Erik begrudgingly agrees to work with a surprising character as he continues to battle within himself with distressing memories and PTSD of his lost wife and child and his last deployment. On the advice of one of our hero’s from a previous book, Erik seeks therapy to help him fight the demons he is plagued with. When the soldier that didn’t follow orders and got Erik’s men shot on his last mission comes back to town…Erik struggles to move past the anger and holds it in making it hard to concentrate when his priority is protecting Hannah from harm. With surprising twists and the meeting of new characters….this book makes one heck of an ending to our beloved couple. And we get a potential intro to some new stories that could develop….here’s hoping! Thank you as always, Nyssa, for bringing such amazing characters and stories to life!

Erik's Refuge
Beautiful Pieces, Book 3
By: Nyssa Kathryn
Narrated by: Teddy Hamilton, Stella Bloom

I was waiting for this! Nyssa Kathryn has quickly moved up to the top of my favorites and this series is fantastic. Packed with an age-gap passion, the suspense is high and the characters fantastic. We pick up where book 2 left off with Hannah in the hospital, and Erik doing his best to keep it together. She is holding a secret that could blow up their relationship, but as the danger grows, his protectiveness does too. The past comes back for both, and the question comes down to can the present be trusted. And finally these two find their happiness. This part of the story had so much in it, from Erik getting the help to deal with his PTSD and the death of his wife and baby to finding out that enemies can be closer than realized. It's full of twists and turns, good friends and the love that grows. I loved it and cannot wait to see what Kathryn has in store next!

Teddy Hamilton and Stella Bloom finish out the series with their amazing duet narration. They keep consistent with all the different characters from book to book and make the story fly by. Hamilton is the over the top protective Erik that shows strength and emotions with ease. Bloom is strong, vulnerable and passionate as Hannah, and gives all the feels. I love this team and loved their performance.

“You will never lose me. Not if we live a thousand years and make a thousand mistakes. You are mine. You will always be mine. And I will always be yours.”

Never a dull moment in the lives of Hanna and Erik Hunter! Nyssa Kathryn put these two through the wringer to get to their HEA! Erik and Hannah’s saga continues immediately after the turbulent events of Erik’s Redemption. Erik is in total protector mode as unknown threats continue to endanger Hannah. Hannah, ever the formidable FMC takes each day and trauma in stride. With a couple new characters added to the crew and even a redemption or two, this found family romance was a charming journey. Erik’s Refuge is the epic, pulse-pounding, heartwarming conclusion to the Beautiful Pieces trilogy; this fantastic ending was everything I hoped for and more. Hannah and Erik’s hard-fought HEA was well worth the ride!

Stella Bloom and Teddy Hamilton reprised their roles as Hannah and Erik one last time with outstanding performances. I am always awestruck by these two voice actors (and their colleagues) and their skill for bringing complex, passionate, genuine characters to life. Stella and Teddy will take you on a wild, steamy ride with this awesome romantic suspense! As bittersweet as it was to listen to this final chapter, I can’t wait to hear what Nyssa Kathryn cooks up next.

What a a roller coaster ride to the end!

It's been a long read from Book 1-3 to get to see what happens to Erik & Hannah! Through all the action packed twists & turns & having the hardest time putting this book down when I just wanted to not stop reading was so hard lol.

I never imagined the ending of all that craziness was because of 1 person who I didn't expect! What an amazing well written trilogy & so worth reading from book 1.

So many amazing characters I hope they all get their own story told too or are in more books because I want each of them to find their HEA too.

Bridget, Henry & Leo are the best best friends anyone could hope to have! Erik, Nate, Nico, & Rachel are the best protective brothers & sisters you'll all wish you had.

And Andi & Hannah are by far the most kick ass, strong, & loving women you'll also wish to have in your life.

And Erik's parents are just the most supportive parents who ain't afraid to show their kids how much they love them.

Overall this book had everything & more than I had expected & I am thankful the good guys came out on top at the end!
Nyssa you are a gifted author & I am truly grateful my best friend suggested your books to me & I can't wait to read more stories. Keep on creating more books & I'll be there to keep reading them for sure!

Holy dang, this book did not disappoint! We start right where we left off, sweet Hannah is in the hospital from getting hit from behind with a car. Erik is there by her side and everything about him screams AMAZING!

The secret finally comes out and we don’t have to wait long for the verdict to come in of what will happen. It’s such a sweet scene, probably my favorite of all the books!

Also, I really hope this series is continued with Niko/Rachel, Bridget/Jake, Henry/Leo, Andy/Reese, and Nate’s stories! lol I love all the secondary characters. I will say that Bridget was still a sore character for me, I feel like Hannah forgave her too quickly… mainly because I think Bridget was dumb. lol but I guessssss I’ll let it go! Haha

This story was still so action packed, like I feel so bad for Hannah, she could not stay safe this whole book. There was always someone after her, and the twist in the end was perfect! I’m happy Erik and Hannah are getting their HEA! I really do hope the series will continue with some of the secondary characters and so we can check in on Erik and Hannah and see how they are doing.

Thank you Bluenose for the audible, Teddy and Stella killed it once again!

Excellent series finale

Picking up where book 2 left off, Hannah finds herself trying to come to terms with a situation that has the ability to break her relationship with Erik in a spectacular fashion. Erik has felt the loss of a love & that of an unborn child, and he has vowed never to experience that again. But little by little we find both of these characters coming to grips with things of the past that seem to break them initially only to make them stronger in the end.
When a ghost from Hannah’s past returns, sparks fly…and not the good kind. There’s angst, terror, elation, & a huge lack of trust. So many emotions surrounding one character. Then it’s almost like a reverse repeat when Erik’s past shows up in a seemingly innocent fashion.
As always, there’s an impending danger & the stakes are higher than ever. Hannah has multiple people watching out for her, but she has to stay vigilant on her own as well.
Who returns, who wreaks havoc, & who can be trusted? It’s a seemingly never ending cycle trying to stay safe & out of harms way. But can these two find peace in their future set out before them?

Audiobook Review:
Teddy Hamilton & Stella Bloom again delivered a spectacular performance that kept me on the edge of my seat & kept me desperate for the next chapter.

Erik’s Refuge is the third book in the Beautiful Pieces series and cannot be read as a standalone.

This picks up right where the previous book left off. Hannah is still in danger, and Erik is determined to keep her safe. They also have to really talk and deal with deeper issues now that Hannah is pregnant, and Erik doesn’t want a baby.

There was a lot of action and suspense, with new (or old?) characters coming into play that added more drama to the story. Erik had to deal with his trauma in order to truly move forward, but I’m glad that he did. Because despite him not wanting a child, he really did love Hannah and was so, so protective of her.

Erik and Hannah had a hard-fought-for HEA, but they finally got there in the end. This was a great ending to the series.

Audio:
Narrators: Stella Bloom and Teddy Hamilton
Style: Duet

Again, these two did an amazing job bringing the story and the characters and their emotions to life. Stella was perfect for Hannah, capturing her strength after life kept throwing sh*t at her, and her heart. Teddy brought out Erik’s tough side, but also his softer side when it came to those he loved.

(Audiobook review)

This is the final audiobook of the Beautiful Pieces trilogy and it is filled with more than anyone could expect for Hannah and Erik. These two will be put through the wringer as they delve into their traumatic past to realize what they have in each other. Erik has grown so much in this storyline but when he hears news about her pregnancy, it is all he can do to hold things together. However, he knows what is important in his life and this gives him what he needs to work towards his healing of the past once and for all. Hannah is still the strong woman who perseveres, and she is not going to let anything hurt her family even with the oncoming danger. It feels like everything is coming full circle and these two are determined to overcome any obstacle thrown their way. Teddy Hamilton and Stella Bloom do a wonderful job narrating this audiobook. Teddy effortlessly captures Erik’s strength while allowing him to be vulnerable when called for. Stella’s performance evolved in line with the character showcasing Hannah’s fierce warrior while maintaining her heart. It’s the perfect ending for this series.

ARC honest review: I have been thinking about this final book in the triology for the past week or so; wondering when I was going to receive the ARC. Saying that I was very happy once I saw the email is an understatement. I couldn’t it put it down until I finished it.

There is one word I would use to describe it: PERFECT! Just perfect. Erik found his refuge in Hannah’s love. The last book left us hanging about Hannah’s pregnancy, and even though it was a shock to Erik, and past demons came to light, he put those demons to the side right away. He knew losing Hannah was not a possibility and for instance his baby (not saying the gender). 😁

Their love is beautiful. The final twist at the end. Just wow! Only Nyssa can surprise us that much on each of her books. I am so happy that my suspicions about Nico were right. Now I can’t wait for his book; hopefully with Rachel. Those two are too funny to pass on.

Looking forward to the new character presented during this final books. Hopefully we get their books soon.

This latest, and finally installment of the trilogy, is filled with a range of emotions, and danger for both Hannah and Erik.
These two individuals have had to crawl out of the depths of their tragic past, to find the light they bring to each other.
Little by little, the individuals pieces of their past, are healing , creating at the end a whole piece filled with hope, love, and a wonderful future and truly, beautiful pieces.
The road was not easy and never straight, especially when drawbacks occurred. Thus making finding and keeping each other in their hearts , in their present and their future a true gift.
In the midst of it all , the author reminds us that life is not white and black, but rather shades of gray. A reminder also that family is not only those we have by blood, but those created by friendships.
This reader will hold these two characters in her mind for a long time to come.
Also hoping that maybe Rachel, Nico, Andi, Rhys and Nate will get their stories in the future.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

What can I say, but Nyssa Kathryn has once again managed to hook me in and keep me reading page after page of Erik's Refuge until all the beautiful pieces had fallen into place. I'm not a fan of cliffhanger books, and if I'm honest, I tend to leave them until the story is complete, but this series has kept me intrigued and Erik's Refuge has been well worth the wait.

Erik and Hannah's road to their HEA has been a tough one. It's full of twists and turns with emotional wrecking balls hitting every step of the way. But, it's their overall strength together and peace they find with each other that makes us as readers invest in their story and though it's not an easy final journey, it's one that ends perfectly.

As always, Nyssa Kathryn has delivered a story that I want more of but am so happy Erik (and Hannah) finally finds refuge after so long floundering without feeling the love of not only a soul mate but family and friends too. I love that we've been teased by more characters as well and look forward to what series comes next!

I cannot believe we are at the end of the trilogy!! I am so sad it is over!!! I was hooked from the very beginning. But honestly, how could I not be? Especially after the cliffhanger that Nyssa threw at us from book2. I swear, Nyssa has me checking my ability to judge characters so out of balance. Hahaha I question every single person the main characters interact with. Hahaha. I am over there through most of the book. Noo, no don't trust that person, she sneezed. Lol. I couldn't stop trying to figure out what was going on. Nyssa keeps me thinking for sure.
I love how Erik and Hannah piece themselves together but by bit and find their strengths both individually and together as a couple! This story was so fun and kept me engaged. It is another great book that was devoured!!

Finished all 3 books in under 24 hours.

When I tell you they were action packed, like over the top action packed, enemies from every direction always in danger, one thing after the other and it was a wild ride but I had such a good time reading these!

I loved Hannah, she was such a strong, resilient woman and she carried the books. I understood Erik’s trauma and issues but it was infuriating how he treated Hannah after the book 1 cliffhanger, I just wanted to shake him and hug her. But they got their well fought for happy ending. I would have loved a future epilogue but I’m assuming there’ll be other books for the side characters so hopefully we’ll see more of them living happily ever after.

One thing I didn’t like was the female best friend thing, even though she and Erik said they saw each other as siblings and there was no romantic history between them whatsoever, it caused jealousy and insecurity for my girl Hannah and she was already going through enough.

This was a great romantic suspense series.

Finally, after so many secrets, pain and angst we get to see Hannah and Erik happy. In their relationship at least, there are still outside forces trying to keep them apart. I needed this. After all the drama we finally get the payoff of them being in a good place. Erik is still a bit of an emotionally stunted ogre with a gun, but he does some actual healing in this book. I loved that he went to therapy because that man needed it.

There is a character who makes their debut in this book. I won't say who because it gives away a big twist, but they were a much-needed addition. Providing some humor and an antagonist towards Erik. I liked Erik but he also pissed me off a lot so having someone to push his buttons brought me joy.

Romantic suspense is one of my favorite subgenres of romance. The highs are high (Catherine Cowles, Anna Hackett) but the lows are low. After reading a few of Nyssa Kathryn's books I can safely say she is in the upper echelon of authors in the genre for me.

ALC Review
Book: Erik’s Refuge
Author: Nyssa Kathryn
Narrators: Stella Bloom & Teddy Hamilton
Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Spice: 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️

This is the third book in the series and I was lucky enough to review the previous two. I was on pins and needles waiting for this last book and it did not disappoint.

Hannah and Erik’s love story isn’t the usual one, but who wants to read or listen to that? The previous two books ended in cliffhangers where this one was finally the HEA I wanted for them. I am a bit sad this series is over now, but I can always revisit them anytime I want.

Stella Bloom was the perfect Hannah for this series. Her voice is so beautiful and I couldn’t listen to her all day. Teddy Hamilton is one of my favorite male narrators. Everything he narrates just comes out as gold.

This was my first Nyssa Kathryn series. I have some of her other books on my TBR now!

Thank you Blue Nose Audio for the ALC!

Fantastic conclusion to the Trilogy. It is still full of lots of twists and turns and questions that need to be answered but it was still at the heart a beautiful love story. It’s two people that love each other through thick and thin but have issues that they need to work out. We get to see them work through the hard stuff like any couple one but we get to go on the journey with them. Erik has a lot of issues from the pasts that he is still trying to work through that is keeping him from finding his true happiness. Hannah is such a strong woman she’s got a lot of stuff going on but she refuses to give up on him she knows it’s worth it and by God she’s going to do whatever she can to make this work. They are healing themselves and it is a beautiful thing to witness. They are such a beautiful love story I have loved every minute of reading the story. I am so glad that we get to see them figure it out and become stronger for it. They’re soulmates and they got their happily ever after.

What a fantastic conclusion to Erik and Hannah’s love story. Perfectly narrated by Stella Bloom and Teddy Hamilton, I couldn’t ask for anything better with this story and the performances.

Erik and Hannah thought they were through all the bad things that could happen but new obstacles are coming. After the loss Erik suffered years ago, having a family wasn’t something he was looking forward to. He loved Hannah and wanted to be with her but marriage and kids wasn’t in the cards for him. But he is going to have to come to terms with the new surprises that Hannah will have to tell him.

All the while, dangers and someone from their pasts is coming for them at full force. There were some twists and turns I didn’t see coming but loved how they were handled. I have really loved Erik and Hannah’s story and seeing them reach their HEA.

I am definitely curious to see if some of these side characters get their own stories.

ALC Review:

This is the final book for Erik and Hannah. The second book left us on a cliffhanger that left us readers with so many questions. Nyssa did a great job at wrapping everything up and getting all the puzzle pieces to fit together nicely. I don't want to say too much so I don't spoil anything. I also liked the fact that Erik realized that he needed to change his mindset and get help if the relationship between Hannah and him was going to work. Overall, it was nice to see everything wrapped up and resolved. My only complaint was that I would have liked to have a little epilogue with Hannah, Erik, and the baby but that is just a want, not a need.

The narration was top notch. I love both the narrators and have listened to several books narrated by them. I will never say no to books that Teddy or Stella are narrating.

Final stars:
Story: 4 stars
Narration: 5 stars
Both combined: 4.5 stars
