Take the trigger warnings seriously if you know you have triggers. This one is DARK & has very sensitive/traumatic content.
Now onto the hot details!!

Think …Den of Vipers… but DARKER, more disturbed & intense. Plus, add in a dash of Divergent, a little sci-fi aspect, a lot of spice and bam, you have Their Hybrid to Take!

Princess, Kitty, Wildcat…or Kora. Whatever you want to call her, she has been through the fiery, burning pits of HELL…. & somehow managed to make it out in one piece. She is like a phoenix that keeps rising from the ashes.
She is stolen off the auction block & has no idea what sort of universe she awakes into. Has she been rescued? Or has she gone from one horrible situation to another?

This story is told through multiple POV, including Kora the FMC, and the 5 MMC’s Bastian, Gage (my personal fave), Bram, Stryker & Dax. I love how the author has made each MMC special or unique.
I also love the banter between them!

Overall, I love the story and how strong the FMC is, in order to overcome everything she goes through. I also love all the men and how it’s Insta Love for them! I can’t wait for the next book!!!!

This is definitely a book where you're gonna want to check the trigger warnings before you read. That being said, I knew I would like this from the dedication alone lol. I'm usually not a huge fan of Sci fi but this particular book had me hooked from the beginning and I can't wait to read more.

I like my dark romances dark. I often joke that I like them dark enough that I can’t see the red flags popping up. This book definitely checks that box. That being said, READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS and take them seriously, they exist for a reason. This is not the type of book where they are listed because they are alluded to or mentioned in passing.

I really enjoyed the multi POV of this book. Yes, you read that correctly. Not just dual or even triple POV, this book is told from the perspective of 6 characters and is done pretty well.

I enjoyed the banter in this book, and while I’m typically not a fan of insta love, I get it and it works here. The spice is spicy and while the dark scenes are pretty freaking dark, they do help shape the characters and add to the overall plot of the book. They aren’t just there for shock value, which as a reader, I always appreciate.

I read this during a slump (no fault of the book trust me, I just get slumpy this time of year due to the stress and being with family) so it took me longer than normal, but the book really does flow well and while being super dark and fantasticly smutty, the characters and plot are strong in this one. I really enjoyed watching our FMC Kora overcome hardships to grow and figure herself out and then 5 (yes FIVE!) MMCs are pretty choice. Reading from their perspectives was quite entertaining and enjoyable.

If you like dark romance and don’t shy away from trigger warnings, I would definitely recommend this, especially if you’re someone who likes a plot with your smut.

Their Hybrid to Take turned my Trekkie life upside down.

Okay, first of all, check the triggers. It is a dark, dark, super dark sci-fi romance. It is NOT your grandma's sci-fi. It is NOT for pearl-clutches. It is NOT for anyone under age 18. But wow. My takeaway from this book is two-fold: One, now I need to know what happens to the other siblings because the arc has me hooked. Two, being a Trekkie all my life, I envisioned intergalactic life as kind of a utopia of joined alliances, not... well.. what happened in this novel. And yet, just like Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian changed my view of the Wild West forever, so did Lilith Sloan change my view of how humans would actually be treated if we crossed paths with alien life. The book was a lot. It was an intense read. And parts of it were hard. But she crafted an addictive story that will carry the reader through another world they won't ever forget. And can we talk characters? I loved the guys in this story. Wish I could read more about them. I hope that maybe one day we get some backstory novellas on how they all came together.

Their Hybrid to take transports readers into a world where the lines between humans, cyber intelligence, technology, and all walks of life are most certainly blurred if not melded together, creating a unique and intriguing story. everything about this story is completely unhinged and I implore readers to read the trigger warnings before diving in... because nothing, says red flag like selling your 'daughter' to the highest bidder. BUT if you do not care about triggers or warning, that let me just tell you, this book hits the right spot! a why choose, touch her and die situation and nothing will have you screaming at the MFC, just as I did, for her stupidity like this book will.

Listen. I get what this book is. But the guys pushing that ’spot’ almost ruined it for me. More because they’re trying to present themselves as consent conscience. When the only way pressing that spot could be consensual, is if she consents to having it pressed. Otherwise it’s the same as drugging and r*ping her. And specifically not letting her ____ so she doesn’t return to her senses until they’re done with her.
And if you want to write that dubcon scene, write that dubcon scene. I, and many others will still love to read it. But don’t present it like consent. Like it was mutual and they love her. Either make the heroes darker or save it for the villains.

This is a dark read! I loved this book and I am so excited to read book 2.
This book is so unique and I loved every second of the book.

Kora thought she was her father's favorite but it turns out he had something planned for her. She is beyond shocked when she is thrust up on stage to be SOLD!! She can't believe that her father would do something like that. After she is sold she gets stolen and that's when she meets the guys. Can the guys earn her trust? Do they actually care for her? Or are they just using her like everyone else?

Goodness 🥵 this book!

Their Hybrid to Take has me wanting more already. I absolutely loved reading it so much. The pacing was great and the male main characters being loveable goofballs that try to help the female main character, Kora, heal from her trauma even though they were destined for her and want to be closer to her, they give her the space and care she needs to grow. I am so ready to read more from Lilith Sloan!

I loved the concept of this book. And while I knew their would be a ton of smut since I was warned about it, it honestly fit. Definitely check trigger warnings though. I am definitely looking forward to more plot and seeing how book 2 will play into this one.

Some might say Kora was delt a bad hand, but can you really say that if she was created/breed to be used as a toy for others. Thankfully this naive girl who is struggling to figure out how things work in this dark world has peeked the interest of 5 males. When she is taken away from one horror and lead to another that she can’t escpae will Kora accept her fate and forget the family she was torn away from or will she escape the life she was born into and embrace the possessive, dark males who will not let her go.

The book is a smooth read that drops you right into the story, the world building flows into the story, and the amount of plot with smut is great. Don’t get me wrong, this is a smut book, but the plot and the males, TOP TIER! I would easily dive into a book about each male and their backstory before this one starts!

This story does have some pretty dark subject matter, moments and descriptive scenes. If you do not like dark, then pass, but if you like to shop for books based on these lists, well enjoy this book in the impulse isle and let me know what you think when you are done.

I absolutely loved this book! I the spice is hot! There are some dark scenes that if you look past your morals for they are needed for the shaping of Kora. This book is so unique and I loved every dark and delicious second of it.

Mind your trigger warnings. You are going to have to get okay with a lot of stuff REALLY fast, like, immediately. This is a D-A-R-K romance. Spell it with a HUGE "D". (Shaddup Bram)

I've had many favorite MMCs in my life, MANY. But these five space ruffians just stole their way up the list. Just... wow. Especially for a new series and one outside my usual genre. It definitely hit the spot and left me itching for more.

Looking forward to adding more of Lilith's work to my collection, she's an up and cummer in the dark romance genre to keep an eye on.
