Keira made a deal with the Dark Spirit Erovos—her life in exchange for the safety of the people she loves. She thought surrendering herself to the enemy would mean the end of the battle. Instead, it’s the start of war.
As Erovos prepares for conquest, Keira races to find allies in a fracturing and dying world. Yet, to rise as a beacon of Light, she must first reckon with the demons of her past, but the darkness is closing in, both physically and mentally. And as Keira’s mind and power slip, she fears she will become the very weapon Erovos needs to bring about the destruction of worlds.
Entangled in a web of failed prophecies, politics, and passion, Keira and Rowen’s love is put to the test, and a mysterious interloper threatens the core of her beliefs. As war looms ever closer, Keira is forced to choose between the flame that anchors her and the fate of everything she holds dear.
Will a failed prophecy doom Luneth forever? Or will Keira eclipse the encroaching darkness, saving her new home, her Light, and her love?
Ecliptic is the seductive and spell-binding conclusion to Synodic.
I read this in one day (that should tell you a lot about this book lol) It’s very rare that a second book is better than the first one when the first one was so good(5 stars) but I have to say I just fell MORE in love with the characters. Especially one character and their comical banter that they brought to the story, WHOM I LOVE. ifykyk. Anyways chiefs kiss.
First of all, I need to thank the author for sending me an eARC of this lovely book! Since I feel as if I'm not the BEST at reviews, I'm going to leave some bullet points, and since they include spoilers, I'm going to mark the whole review as spoiler!
-There's a synopsis of book 1, which is amazing! I love this and think all books should have this unless they come out in VERY quick succession
-This REALLY picks up right where we left off in Synodic, and boy did I dive right back in!
-OMG Erovos' army is TERRIFYING!!!!!
-The spice? At only 43% in, I can say with confidence that it is A++++++
-I LOVE how competitive Keira is with Madds. I feel like it almost helps her bond more with him when she wants to hate him.
With all those tidbits being said, I LOVED this book (and this series) and I can't wait to read more from Kristin Travis!! I love how this was left a bit open ended and could continue the series, but it's perfectly fine if not, I think too! (Though I DO want to know what happens next with Rowen trying to get his kingdom back!!)

Kristin did it again—I loved Synodic, and Ecliptic did not disappoint! I was immediately bought back into the world I loved and missed. Her beautiful writing and world building made me not want to put it down. Must read!!!
🌌✨ 5 stars – A Cosmic Masterpiece That Stays With You ✨🌌
Ecliptic by Kristin Travis completely blew me away! From the very first chapter, the story pulls you in with a gripping pace and beautifully immersive writing. The opening was just perfect — instantly setting the tone for an unforgettable journey.
Keira, our strong and stunning female lead, is everything I hope for in a character. Even when the odds were stacked against her and hope seemed lost, she radiated strength and resilience. Her transformation scene, astral travelling and cosmic moments were written with such vivid detail that I felt like I was floating through the stars right beside her. ✨💫 And then there’s Rowen. A complete green flag. The way he constantly reached for Keira, supported her unconditionally, and poured out love in every little gesture — he’s the definition of devotion. The love between Keira and Rowen was pure, intense, and so, so real. 💖
Kristin’s writing shines throughout. I loved how seamlessly she wove in memories and references from Synodic. Each one felt intentional and meaningful, blending beautifully with the ongoing plot without ever disrupting the flow.
The character development across the board was phenomenal — each character felt layered, real, and unforgettable. There was also a surprise character who brought unexpected humor and warmth to the story, adding a refreshing balance even in the most intense moments. Their presence played a vital role and left a lasting impact.
The final battle scene was intense, emotional, and written with such raw energy that I could feel the tension in every line. I was completely gripped.
Oh, and the spicy chapters? Chef’s kiss 🔥 Perfectly balanced, deeply emotional, and very well written.
I’m beyond thankful to have been part of Kristin’s ARC team for this gem. She’s created a world I never want to leave. This book was an unforgettable experience! 💫📚
I went into this with the hope that it would be everything Synodic was and more, and it left my jaw on the floor and tears in my eyes. It had been a while since I read Synodic but I fell back into the swing of this world instantaneously and never wanted to leave.
This was so well written and I loved exploring the different worlds and their adventure into Hara’dune and meeting other characters. Thaydril is a shameless flirt and I love that, and the instant spark between Rayal and Dyani? Sign me up. I’m so happy that she went back to Hara’dune with her in the end! I’m so happy they get to rebuild Viltarran and start fresh, but that thing with the eyes in the necklace? a bit concerning.
I BALLED over Madds. I instantly loved him so much for his banter and charm. I could tell that something was going to happen I just hoped I was wrong, but I wasn’t wrong, and dammit Kristin why did you have to do that?!?😭 I WEPT, SOBBED.
Needless to say, I am so so sad that this duet is over because the world of Luneth is amazing. It captures you and doesn’t let go. I’ve been following along on this journey since the beginning of Synodic and am so grateful to Kristin for giving me the opportunity to arc read this. 🫶🏻🖤

I always get nervous when reading a sequel to a book I loved, worrying whether it will live up to the hype I felt with the first one. Without a doubt though, Ecliptic had my body, mind, and soul captivated from the very beginning.
The story picks up right where Synodic left off, and honestly..I started reading and thought, 'wow! This feels like the kind of intensity I’d normally expect toward the end of a book. High stakes, the FMC in danger, potential devastation'. But no, that was just the beginning of what turned out to be an epic second installment.
Keira once again proved herself to be a fierce and brave FMC, and Rowen reminded me why he’s one of my top-tier book boyfriends I’ve read about. I LOVE that he and Keira are so honest in their relationship, allowing each other to be themselves without holding one another back.
We also got the return of some amazing side characters, who were both entertaining and endearing. They brought the lighthearted moments the story needed, making everything feel more relatable, while also adding layers of diversity that I really enjoyed.
Kristin, thank you for sending me a copy of your wonderful story! What a joy this was to read.
When I first read Synodic, I was amazed at how well the book was written. I fell in love with the story and the characters immediately. For a first published book I was very impressed at how great it was. I immediately requested to be an ARC reader for Ecliptic when it became available. This book had me asking/thinking about the possibilities of what could happen next. Even if I had a suspicion on how something would go and was right, she still found a way to add another twist in it that surprised me. Kristin you had me very intrigued if there was gonna be a potential MFM scene lol some of the quotes made me gasp out loud. There is so much thought and love that has been put into this book. The characters feel like real people and the storyline was filled with action and twists that I never felt like my attention was wandering. Kristin, I’m so thankful to have come across you on social media and have loved reading your books. I can’t wait to see what comes next ❤️
Ecliptic is the sequel I NEEDED. Star-crossed lovers doesn’t even begin to cover the chemistry between Kiera and Rowen. Their love story is equal parts spicy and sweet. And that first scene? Holy smokes. I enjoyed the antagonistic relationship with Maddox.
I don't want to give away any spoilers, because Kristin does such a great job weaving her story, but I really got sucked into Keira's world as she goes through her journey. There's plenty of twists to keep you entertained, and a pleasant amount of spice. The writing is excellent, and clearly well edited.
The world Kristin builds around her characters is just as vibrant as the characters themselves. She makes Luneth come alive.
I thoroughly enjoyed both books in this duology. If you're a romantasy fan, then I definitely recommend this.
What am I honestly suppose to say here? Kristin brought it yet again!! I am so blessed to have had the opportunity of being one of her Beta Readers before the world gets a glimpse into Ecliptic's world. I'm in "awe" of her ability to captivate every single emotion, feeling or thought I had while reading Keira's continued journey. Once again I was able to be transported immediately upon reading and felt like I was one with this story. I truly felt like I was there with the characters and felt so connected with Keira and her journey into finding herself. Loved, Loved this book!!! This book will have a permanent spot on my bookshelf along with book #1 Synodic. Hold on tight friends...you are in for a ride!!! -T
The countdown for this book has been ticking since the second I finished Synodic, and it didn't disappoint! This is a brilliant continuation filled with interesting new characters, whilst we learn more about Luneth. Rowen and Keiras love story is beautiful with the perfect amount of spice. I'm intrigued to find out if we will see any more of their future 👀 Madds character arc came out of nowhere, and im completely here for it. His banter is refreshing to Rowens nature in the perfect way. I loved this 🤌🌠 Kristin has become one of my new favourite authors and I'm looking forward to what's to come next.

I loved this book just as much as I loved Synodic. It took no time at all to fall back into the lives of the characters I left behind a year ago. The way the author balances story progression, world-building, and character development is truly impressive. I couldn’t read fast enough. I was hooked and constantly craving more. The final act was everything I hoped for and ended up being my favorite part across both books. If you haven’t read Synodic yet, start there. If you have, don’t wait and read this one next. You won’t regret it.
Ecliptic is the sequel I NEEDED. Star-crossed lovers doesn’t even begin to cover the chemistry between Kiera and Rowen. Their love story is equal parts spicy and sweet. And that first scene? Holy smokes. That was some creative problem solving if I've ever seen it.
I enjoyed the antagonistic relationship with Maddox and I (spoiler alert) need an emotional support coffee now. This duet is a totally unique, space-elf fantasy that I was obsessed with. KT did an incredible job of building a lush fantasy world I wanted to escape to.
Now THIS is how you write a duology! Highly recommended for fans of fae fantasy (heads up that there are lots of spicy scenes to be had). ECLIPTIC has the vibes of both Rivendell and the Night Court (as well as a delightfully Twilight-coded scene--you'll know it when you see it). Keira's character became even stronger in the sequel, and I absolutely loved her character development. The ending broke me but in the best way, and it truly was the perfect conclusion to what has become one of my favorite fantasy duologies I've ever read.
The first book was amazing, and the amazement didn’t just stop there. The amount of character development, raw action and unchanging love between not only rowen and Keira but the entire wyn village. The ultimate sacrifices, twists & turns will have you on the edge of your seat. Getting lost into this book was definitely what I needed this year. Not as much as a slow burn as the first book, however you will leave satisfied regardless 🤭 Big praise to Kristen for this one! Can’t wait to read more!

Whoever said sophomore slump was a thing clearly didn’t read Ecliptic. Kristin Travis defied those odds with this stunning sequel to her debut Synodic.
This book had me blushing, but also had me on the edge of my seat with chills from the tension, the suspense, the intrigue.
I was swooning over the spice scenes, kicking my feet with glee over the banter, and sobbing by the time I got to the third act.
Thank you so much for this anticipated ARC, so incredibly proud of you, my friend.
I was blessed as an ARC reader this time around. Thank you Kristin not only for writing this book but for facing your fears. It took everything out of me to hold back tears half the time for Keira, she is a fighter to the very end. The only way to get to her happiness was to see that she finally had something to be happy for.
Kristin Travis has done it again with another magical tale with everything you could ever want- romance, spice, adventure, thrills and amazing twists and turns. Fall deeper and deeper into her etheric world with every word that lingers in your mind and shakes through your body. You won’t want to put it down!
This conclusion to the duet has left me wanting more of this world. The characters, the world that was built, the story. It was an absolute thrill to read. I haven't felt this engrossed into a fantasy world as I had with the Hobbit/LotR stories. Magic, battles, romance. Everything was a thrilling and emotional ride to the end. I cannot wait for more from this author!
What a great sequel! Honored to be a beta reader for the author 💜 Feels not that long ago that I read the first book, Synodic, and fell back in love with reading. The storyline just gets you immersed into Luneth again, and we love a strong female lead as always!
Love how Kristin brings you right back in the story , it’s exciting , sexy, saving worlds, great love story with a twist that you just can’t put down !!!!!
Oh my gosh absolutely loved this book! I really thought it could get better than the first one. Boy was I wrong- such a perfect story will definitely be a re-read in the near future !
I wish I could wipe my brain and read it again for the first time! Absolutely captivating and well written! I loved every second of this beautifully written world and character set. Absolutely a must read after Synodic!!!
I had the honor of being an ARC-Reader for Ecliptic, and my god… where do I even start? I fell in love with Keira’s story while reading the first book Synodic. She’s such a powerhouse and everything I needed as a reader at the time. And now that I’ve finished Ecliptic, I can’t believe it’s over. I had high expectations for this book and after only reading the first few pages I knew, this book was beyond everything I could have ever expected. The love, the spice, the strength, this whole world… everything this book contains is breathtaking! I felt all the emotions… it had me happy, sad, angry, confused… all of it! The story is so well written! It’s definitely a must read!!!
