(This is as stated on amazon a short story a lot of the time this kind of book gets marked down for being a short read)

I brought this as it's the son of one of my favourite authors.

Very brutal and about Russians killing Germans in the war.

Very well written and kept my attention so well despite only wanting to read a few pages I read it all in one go.

This is a complete story and ties all the lose ends up nicely.

I'm really looking forward to his next book.

Great ending..

it took me a minute to get into the story, but after I did it got pretty good. I enjoyed the friendship between the two main characters and seeing how much Joseph wanted to get home to his wife. The ending was a nice little twist. Great job for his first book.
