I teach writing and this will be a helpful tool

I liked the open ended prompts that will be easier to use than the one I’ve had to use in the past. I will definitely use some of these.

A non intimidating way to start journaling

I think this would be a great gift for a teen who’s just getting interested in journaling. Maybe throw in a blank book and some pens

This is a decent collection of journal prompts, covering a fairly wide range of topics and styles. Several would also work as blog prompts. It would be a good book for a beginner, although there isn't much here on how to journal (how to pick a journal, what time of day to write, etc.). Experienced journalers are also likely to find some prompts that intrigue them, but they'll probably want something meatier.
