The book was entertaining and had more unknown/personal stories than the other Packers books I have read. Peppered throughout the book were jokes that could be modified for any team - didn't feel like it added much and some were pretty cheap. Found some content that I could use for a sport fan talk or course. The book's organization wasn't the best and it became evident that some of the same fans were providing testimonials for each chapter and thus maybe the current organization was used bc the author didn't want the book chapter to be - Joe Smith's thoughts - the next Mike Lewis' thoughts - etc. I am going to email the author and see if he has any bad memories for a study I am working on. If he responds, I have a feeling my rating may improve.
The book, For Packer Fans Only by Rich Wolfe, one of my all time favorite reads. It contains stories of the Green Bay Packers as told by fans who witnessed the occasion. The descriptions of Lambeau Field are so thorough, I felt the excitement as if I had been there. It is interesting to read about the atmosphere in the stadium during some of football's most historic games. I'd give this book five stars out of five because the descriptions are amazing and give you a feeling of anxiety. I'd recommend this book to anybody who likes football, but it is very biased towards the Packers.
