Definitelly better than the first installation of the series

Look... it was mostly smut with a dash of angsty plot. I chose to read Omegaverse, so that was what I expected. I liked it for the most part, except for Roman, who was a bitch at the beginning. However, I have to say you can see how the author's writing got significantly better than their first book structurally. Characters had more depth, and the plot was more detailed. I would definitely revisit this series.

It was actually a nice little read.
I was in a little reading slump bcs none of the books on my tbr was tempting me so I chose this novella and I do not regret!! From now on, I won’t ever underestimate the power of a "porn with plot" book.
The FL is pretty cute and her men are completely pussystruck 😭 we love seeing it 😮‍💨👏

Eine süße Omega-Story, die mich von Anfang an abgeholt hat. Leider stand der Plot mal wieder viel zu wenig im Fokus, aber wie gesagt hat mich die Geschichte selbst abgeholt und ich mochte die Hauptprotagonistin Gabriella besonders gerne. Auch Roman, Stone und Chase waren mir total sympathisch, aber Gabriella hat sich echt in mein Herz gestohlen, weshalb ich ausnahmsweise für diese Story 3 Sterne vergebe - obwohl es, wie bei den Großteil der Omegastories, wirklich schade ist, dass man nicht mehr aus den teilweise wirklich guten Geschichten rausgeholt und sie immer zu einem reinen Porno verkommen lässt …..

An omega/alpha romance that is part of a series. It is a short entertaining read. I felt a bit of a disconnect between the lead alpha and the omega. I just never felt that they truly fit together cohesively. Overall, it was entertaining enough and as characters in a series that might pop up again in another book, I'd read it just so you have a better understanding of everyone.

This book was decent however, I personally think the first book was a lot better. I love a good spicy book and all that but, this book was more smut than real plot. I think if it was longer than it would have been better. It is a very quick read and I did enjoy it. The alphas were sweet and I loved Chase.

If you are looking for pure hot and steamy RH smut with a very poor plot then this is a book for you!
It's so cringy too that I laughed all the way through.💀 (I've read better Wattpad stories than this...)
This one was weird af but reading this at this point of my life, where I have a lot of stuff happening, helped me relax so maybe don’t take my rating seriously…? If you want to laugh at cringy writings then this is a book for you!

It was short enough that it didn't take long to read!

I read this book with a nice cup of tea in bed and I was HOOKED from start to finish!!

Although I wish Gabriella had an easier life It was so worth the heartache..

This novella is filled with $MUT and I mean.. I could say I few tears dropped down my leg!
I am absolutely obsessed with this!

Basically.. it’s just perfect.

Alpha’s Fated Desire by Mina Summers Review.

This is the second book in this series and while it was good, I think it was a little too quick.
I feel like we could have gotten more back story on Judith and what happened to Roman’s previous pack.
Everything just seemed a little too rushed and it kind of felt like somethings were missing throughout the book. I felt like Gabriella, Roman, Stone and Chase didn’t have much story with their connection. It just kind of happened.
The book started off strong but I felt like it would have been better if it were longer and more in depth.

But! I did enjoy the story.
Stone was the gentle giant and a sweetheart. Chase was the perfect gentleman and provided lots of comfort which is always a bonus. Roman could use a little work but I did understand why he was the way he was with the provided glimpse of this back story.

I’m the type of reader who enjoys danger and FMC that need to be rescued. While there was some of that in the book, I felt like they could have been a little bit more. ;)

I did like the fact that Gabriella was a plus size Omega and had a bit of self confidence issues. It was relatable. She has her moments of being confident and I love to see that but I also like the shy girls who are nervous about their bodies but then they big guy(s) help her become more confident in themselves.

Overall, decent story!

"Alpha's Fated Desire" presents itself as an enticing delve into the omegaverse romance genre, but unfortunately falls short of expectations. While forgiving some shortcomings in writing and world-building, the glaring issues lie within its plot and character development.

One of the first noticeable disparities is the pacing of romantic encounters. Early sexual encounters pepper the narrative, yet the first kiss is withheld until a staggering 61% into the story, leaving readers feeling disconnected from the emotional buildup. Moreover, during the resolution, a supposed moment of tenderness turns uncomfortably sexualized, as one of the alphas redirects focus from the traumatized female lead towards his own desires, rather than providing genuine comfort and support.

The lack of attention to detail exacerbates the problem, with noticeable plot holes like the emphasis on the female lead's virginity, only to have it conveniently forgotten later on. Furthermore, the climax of the story crumbles under the weight of implausibility. The antagonist, portrayed as beaten within an inch of his life and securely shackled in a jail cell, somehow orchestrates an escape from the facility. This raises eyebrows as the narrative fails to adequately explain how a man incapacitated and restrained by shackles managed to break free, casting doubt on the story's credibility.

While the concept held promise, "Alpha's Fated Desire" ultimately fails to deliver a satisfying narrative experience. Its disjointed plot, underdeveloped characters, and inconsistent world-building leave readers longing for a more cohesive and thoughtfully executed story.

I really enjoyed this book. To be honest, I've been building myself up to get back to reading long novels and series so this was a good start. I'm a little disappointed there wasn't more conversation and groveling for Roman making assumptions about her and she irritated me a bit with keeping everything to herself and not opening up even a little about how she felt being rejected after never finding a pack for the same reason. I rate shorter books differently, though, for the length it was and everything that was in it. I'm really happy the smut was good too which is always important to me when I read honestly my biggest downfall with this book was the relationship between her and Roman I wanted to see more discussion, groveling, to make her forgiving him worth it vs it just being you got a great pierced dick and fuck good I don't remember why I'm upset and angry with you. (Any review I leave is for myself so I know what books I did and didn't like)

Sweet Gabs

Oh Gabby,

Her story starts off sad, she’s a twenty-nine year old omega that can no longer participate in finding an Alpha pack to mate with. She’s aged out of the omega nest and she doesn’t know what’s going to happen.

Roman the Alpha in charge has no choice but to accept the unmated omega in his home for her safety, she’s unmatched and vulnerable and he can’t have that, but everything changes for this Alpha trio pack when Gabby starts going into her heat and that can only mean one thing.

She was destined to be theirs.

I honestly don't know who I love more Chase or Stone. Don't get me wrong I love Roman and my heart absolutely broke for everything that he went through with his first pack. Gabriella I think it's just amazing. And she deserves the perfect pack that she got. But there's something about Chase's playful gentleman type and Stone being a gentle giant that just captures my heart.

Definitely so much better than the first. We got to know the characters a bit more before it started to get rushed. I wish there were more conversations between them, like about Gabriella’s insecurities and Roman’s trust issues, but there was definitely more to this one than the last. I also love the subtle hints at how the next FMC is in each book. Hoping the next book will be an even greater improvement.

If u want a happy sappy book this isn’t for you. But if you want a book about omega struggles through bad alphas til she finds the good ones, trauma and self esteem issues than this is a great book for you. I enjoyed it. I did have to skip some pages that went on too long but i read it In one sitting.

a long time coming

Alpha’s Fated Desire is book two in the series Omega for the Alphas: Fated Flames by author Mina Summers. This starts off a little dark and sad. Both the MFC and one of the MMC have had some tragic events in their history. So trust is a big issue and doesn’t come easily. Eventually it works out but there are some obstacles.

This book was okay. Near the end it got a bit boring. The spice was good. Could have been a bit spicer but was really good. The plot wasn’t the best so if you don’t mind that it’s fine but if you care you will dislike this book some. Overall it was an average book. Interested to see what the others in the series are like. 3/5

What happens to a spinster omega? That question is answered in this story. The storyline has depth along with lots of heat and some violence and conflict. Great read in the omegaverse genre.

this was a short read

I finish this book in one night. I love how this story plays out. The MFC is my kind of gal. Stubborn but also mouthy. Mostly like me lol. I love the ending the most because HEA is a must. Though the curve ball thrown in was awesome as well.

Loved it!
