I appreciated that the suggestions were so specific. It made it very practical. I am a terrible and last-minute packer so I found the guidelines useful. I could have done without the same line about checking out the pinterest board after every destination, feels like that could just be mentioned once at the beginning of the book.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Travel With Style: Master the Art of Stylish and Functional Travel Capsules is a really practical and inspiring guide to traveling with intention and style. I liked how it breaks down the idea of a travel capsule into something simple and actually doable, without making it feel overwhelming. The tips feel useful for real-life trips, and it leaves you motivated to pack smarter and travel more confidently.
I really wouldn't recommend reading this - much of the advice here could be gleaned from a google search I was hoping for something a bit more involved, I suppose.
I came to this expecting a pretty packing book, the sort of guide one consults for a few pleasing photographs and then forgets when the suitcase is open on the bed. I was quite wrong. Anastasia Pash has written something more useful than that. Travel With Style is, at its best, a practical argument for travelling with attention. The strength of the book lies in its orderliness. The central method, built around climate, comfort, and culture, is simple enough to remember and sensible enough to apply. I appreciated that the author does not treat style as decoration alone. She connects clothing to weather, movement, local customs, photographs, airline limits, and the ordinary realities of walking on cobblestones, entering temples, sitting in air conditioning, or discovering that the wrong shoes can spoil an otherwise beautiful day. That kind of advice may sound modest, but it is the kind one is grateful for when away from home. The destination sections are especially helpful. Bali, Bangkok, Dubai, Paris, Rome, safari, skiing, Tokyo, and the other guides are not merely lists of attractive clothes. They ask the reader to think about fabric, colour, footwear, modesty, climate changes, and the difference between what is suitable at a beach club and what is suitable at a religious site. I found the repeated attention to cultural respect particularly convincing. The book suggests that dressing well is not vanity, but a way of meeting a place with care. There were moments when I wished the tone had been a little less certain. Travel changes, local expectations change, and some readers may have a plainer or more practical sense of style than the author. A few recommendations may need adjusting according to age, budget, body, and personal temperament. Still, this is a small reservation, because the book itself gives the reader enough structure to make those adjustments intelligently. What I admired most is that it made packing feel less like a chore and more like a form of preparation for experience. It is clear, generous, and genuinely useful, with enough detail to prevent the familiar panic of bringing too much and still having nothing right to wear. For me, it is a five star guide.
‘Travel is the epitome of expansion, connection, and discovery’ – A ticket to complete pleasure!
UAE author Anastasia Pash knowns the world about which she writes! Born in Cyprus and educated in both the UK and France, she has explored Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the US, she launched Globetrotter VR: a virtual travel platform assisting travelers. She now places her experience and knowledge in this fine travel guide – TRAVEL WITH STYLE – adding her insights into fashion and travel tips that encourage wise preparation for enjoying many destinations – and getting there!
Eloquently delivered practical advice for experiencing the joys of travelling, Anastasia states ‘While many of us pursue comfort through upgraded plane tickets, luxurious hotels, and fine dining experiences, authentic comfort runs deeper.’ Her book offers valuable instructions on how to choose journeys and how to prepare and pack, a detailed report on over twenty destinations around the globe, and many wise tips on doing it all with style. Practical and inspiring, this is a must read for all travelers!
Travel With Style by Anastasia Pash Love this book because it's written by someone who's traveled the world since in her young years. She lists a country and tells you about the clothing you should bring, depending on the time of year: all of the seasons. Even includes day/night temps to be aware of. The customs and traditions are also mentioned along with rules/laws about illegal things and other things that you might do to put yourself in harms way by dressing provocatively warranting unwanted advances. There are so many locations and countries and so much to do that she also lists and how to dress for a theater vs. a walkthrough town. It's all about combination clothing, where you can wear a light weight sweater in multiple outfits and how to take a photo of the ensemble so you won't have to hassle with searching through clothes that you brought with you. LOVE FAQ'S at the end where she explains which container/suitcase/backpack to use and when and how to pack them properly. SO much valuable information in this book.
Travel With Style by Anastasia Pash prepares you for just about every wardrobe necessity globally. She meticulously packs with the three C’s in mind: Climate, Comfort, and Culture. She doesn’t leave the reader guessing what to pack; it’s all laid out. I think the best part of this fashion guidebook is her passion for traveling. She purposely designs her outfits to make the most of her destinations. Anastasia appears fearless as she embraces the world's cultural wonders, allowing us to boldly travel with a style in mind.
I found Anastasia Pash refreshing and insightful. While reading Travel With Style, I came across several situations in which I would have dressed foolishly. Though tennis shoes come in many different styles and purposes that we find acceptable in the US, they’re not the go-to shoe worldwide. The author’s extensive travel provides the reader with guidelines for appropriate clothing choices, so they can be prepared without costly last-minute shopping trips. This was insightful and creates a desire for my next holiday.
I enjoyed reading Travel With Style: Master the Art of Stylish and Functional Travel Capsules by Anastasia Pash. The book has a practical, approachable tone and offers helpful ideas for building stylish, functional travel wardrobes. The capsule outfit suggestions are well thought out and easy to follow, making it fun to pack for different trips.
One thing to note is that it’s geared toward specific global destinations rather than serving as a general guide to packing light. If you enjoy location-based wardrobe inspiration, this book provides thoughtful examples and plenty of stylish travel ideas. Recommended.
