For those who follow Charlie Richards, this is one of the good ones. (There have been some real clunkers this past couple of years)
For those who complain about my 3/5 ratings for these books when I say it is a good story: I can not give these books a 4 or 5/5 as too many elements are missing for it to be rated that high. Charlie writes novellas. Short stories with a touch more. They are an excellent snack read but lack the layered and full development of an excellent story.
2024-On the last 10 or so books in my obsessive re-re-read of the series that make up the Stone Ridge world - all 187 of them - whew! While I have re-read the individual series, this is the first time I have read all the series in order for the world.

family values.

Tucker was in the closet from his parents , his sister knew and took him out for his birthday. Rigel was at the club and recognized Tucker as his mate.
A couple of days later, Rigel accidentally outed Tucker to his family. This set into motion, a domino effect which took a number of days to finally straighten out.
Rigel assured Tucker that they were family and he would take care of him and his sister and her baby which was going to be a rhino shifter’s child surprise surprise
