About the author

Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.

I don’t review every one of Cap’s books that I read but figured the 25th is kind of an anniversary of sorts so here goes. Thanks Cap. I thoroughly enjoy each and every “Chase” book and Crimson was no different. I know there comes a day in all of our lives when retirement is either required or desired and I don’t look forward to the day when Chase participates only from a management aspect and thought that was where you were going with this edition. Happy to say that didn’t happen yet and hope that’s not a spoiler to anyone who reads this prior to reading the book. Chase and crew are again examples of patriotism that runs thru their blood like the rivers of patriotism that runs through almost every vet or current servicemember and it’s that which makes these so enjoyable to read. Lot’s of authors get the details right but Cap is exquisite in writing that patriotism we vets feel into every book. Thanks again Cap. I feel ya!!

Once again I can't put it down!

Cap Daniels is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Ten year old me found a box of Louis L' Amour books and discovered a world of heroes with honor and values. Men and women not afraid to put their life on the line to protect who and what they loved. Cap has put the same heart and soul into his stories and his characters.
If you're new to the world of Chase Fulton I recommend you start from book one (The Opening Chase) and enthusiastically read everything Cap Daniels has written. I guarantee this will quickly become a favorite series. Thanks Cap for another great read!

4.5 Stars. In Cap Daniels’s 26th Chase Fulton novel, “The Crimson Chase” Chase’s CIA-ish team of off-the-books problem-solvers have been sent to find a missing team of government-sent operatives tasked to root out potential terrorists in the Caribbean. This was my first Cap Daniels novel, and I was impressed with the pace, the dialogue between characters, and the thoughts behind each action. The novel is very conversation-driven – the author must have gotten a special rate on quotation marks! If I were to compare this novel to other writers, I would have to say it was similar to some thrillers by Clive Cussler, Jason Kasper, and Brad Taylor.

Who is good enough to become part of the Team? How would that be determined? How does a Mission get accepted? In this adventure we learn more about how things work. Who are the good guys and who are the bad guys? Making a Mission work when the unexpected happens. With plenty of action and team dynamics, Cap Daniels gives us another story that does not disappoint and in which we learn more than in many others, how Chase and the Team do what they do. Highly recommended. Thoroughly enjoyed it Cap.

ANOTHER GREAT READ!!!!

Cap Daniels never fails to deliver an edge of your seat, nail biter book! Each book keeps you wanting more and anxiously awaiting the next one….The only thing missing in this one was how was Penny’s pregnancy was explained when Chase was supposedly unable to father a child….seems like it was thrown in and then never explained, just kind of left dangling out there.

Crimson Chase

Mr. Daniels has written another great diabolical story! Chase has picked up a new member for his team. He is also given a new task for the team. As Abe Lincoln said America will not be destroyed by outsiders, but rot from within! Chase and Team have to find the bad guys and keep them from succeeding. There are several twists and turns, but everyone does their part! I can't wait for the next adventure?!

Another Excellent Book from Cap Daniels!

If you’ve been reading the Chase Fulton series, this one will not disappoint. If this is your first one, welcome to a great group of heroes. Do go back to book #1, simply because it’s worth knowing the characters and their stories. Chase is adding more fighters to his group as he grapples with time and the limitations it brings. But he’s not going anywhere soon.

fantastic amazing story

Cap Just Gets Better

This book hit new highs in Chase Fultons life of adventure and comraderie. The addition of a new team member made it richer and more exciting, and making these books any more exciting is not an easy task. This book was so fine it will be hard to surpass but my money is on Cap, and, as usual, I can't wait for the next one!

I think Clint will make an excellent New operator with Chase and the gang. I'm glad to know his backstory. I love all of the main characters in this series of books. And though I know it's fiction Some of the scenarios scare me to dead. I can see unscrupulous Politicians lining their Pockets any way that can.

A fast moving tale of treason, intrigue, and loyalty.

Cap has a special knack of making his characters true to life.
I've read almost every story of Chase and his group and I'm always impressed with Cap's research and attention to detail.

This was just an ok read, nothing earth shaking. I liked his new character Clint, and how it didn’t take. Him long to get the nickname Gator. I thought it was a little stupid how they decided to go hand to hand rather than plugging one and they all blow before they got to close, but it took some creative license to not have one go boom.

Just when you don’t think Chase has anything more to give, you realize Cap Daniels reads Cap Daniels books. Chase becomes a father, for lack of a better word, and a coach, and a mentor. The roles he was meant to play. Oh, he still kicks a good bit of butt.

Well another great Chase story. I have to say, Cap. What ever falls out of you head and gets in print is always amazing. I hadn't noticed this book was 15% longer as I just read faster and faster as the action got faster.
