This book didn’t really hold my interest and felt a bit unnecessary to the overall story.

I don’t leave things unfinished so I ended up reading all the books in this series, but they’re not really my cup of tea.

Holiday romance vacationing in the Alps and continuing the story of Aspen and Quintan. A little conflict in the novella wrapping up what happened to Aspens adopted mother. Aspen and Q are married and still enjoy each other. Q was possessive and dominating which made the spice hotter. Lots of spicy scenes.

For me, the story was simply ok; it was good, lighthearted with a bit of turmoil from past healing.

Quinton & Aspen                     Quick novella

It's recommended that you read Corium University books before read this novella.

It's been two years since all the drama surrounding Aspen at Corium University, due to her Father's betrayal to the Rossi Mafia Family. She went through a load of trauma connected to that first year at University. Quinton, her husband, being one of them. And he's still making it up to her. He loved her then, loves her fiercely now. Her safety and seeing her happy is his main concern. Aspen loves her life now, happily married to Quinton, she fell for him, even when they were 'enemies'. She's still haunted by her ordeals. But Quinton makes it better.

While away for a romantic Christmas get away, they run into someone from Aspen's past.
How will they handle the situation?

Aspen and Quinton are so perfect for one another. They read each well, they think they're covering up their emotions. It's great to see how they've progressed after everything they've been through.

Loved this happy ever after novella

This is a bonus novella that should be read after Corium University Books 1-3 featuring Quinton and Aspen. Quinton and Aspen’s story was a dark, enemies to lovers romance with a HEA and this spicy novella complemented the other books nicely. It doesn’t matter that it’s been a while since I read the first three books because I was able to pick right up here with no problems. Quinton is still Quinton. Q is possessive, protective, dominant, and obsessive. I loved seeing him spoil Aspen when he once punished her for things that weren’t her fault. Aspen is still Quinton’s prey and he’s her dark wolf. Aspen is still Aspen too and she loves Q’s dark side but it was fun to see how their relationship has grown, the bond between them strengthened and the unspoken trust that they have now. This novella is quite short but the pacing is good and it doesn’t feel rushed. Aspen even gets closure on one outstanding issue that has been bothering her. We get to check in with Lucas, Brittany and Scarlett too in brief cameos. Between the Swiss Alps at Christmas and Corium the setting is perfect for this novella. This novella can be summed up in three words: future, family, and love. Corium fans will enjoy giving this one a read.

Corium Ever After by C. Hallman is a Xmas novella from the Corium University Series. The author gives us a nice look at where Aspen and Quinton are now after all they have been through. It had been a while since I had read the original series, so when I saw the ARC for this story, I jumped at reading it. You definitely need to read the Corium University series in order to know all the players in the story. It was nice seeing Aspen and Quinton again, especially knowing they were happy. Quinton is still dealing with the betrayal and all that happened to Aspen. Aspen is dealing with what has happened to her and all that was revealed. However, she is still dealing with her mother's disappearance, and when she sees someone who looks like her, her life gets turned upside down. It's a cute story that left me wanting more. I would love a whole new series regarding a new look at the characters and where they are now. Especially with the ending, I really want to know more. A 4 star read for me. I also have to say that once I finished this book, I did want to go back and reread the Corium University Series again.

This novella should be read after Broken Kingdom. I loved getting some more insight into Quinton and Aspen's relationship after what happened in the first 3 books - how they got together and what happened to both of them. In this novella, Quinton takes Aspen on a Christmas vacation to the Swiss Alps during their junior year at Corium. Aspen has been so strong with all she's been through that Q wants to make up for some of it with the surprise trip. She also sees a person she thought she would never see again, and gets some closure. I liked how Q acknowledged how he treated her at the beginning of their relationship, his part in what happened to her with Matteo, that he will do anything and spend the rest of his life atoning for it. This novella answers some questions as well as hinted with a bit of an Easter egg about a certain second part of a duet that releases in March 2024.

Corium ever after

Okay, if you have read all six of these books, Aspen goes from blue eyes to hazel eyes back to blue eyes, then to green eyes in this book. It is such a peave when an author gets the characters' details wrong. But seeing as how, it's throughout the series the editor might not have caught on to that. So I don't blame the editor for that slight mistake. Character development and details are up to the author. So, other than that mistake, it was a short novella of Aspen and Quinten nearly two years later. It was short and sweet. Sorry if you are expecting anything dark in this. It's actually sweet. I've already started Ren and Scarlet's duet " Touch of Hate" and " Touch of Chaos," so I can't wait to see how everything concludes for our Corium characters now that their conclusion is out.

This is the sixth book int he Corium University Series. You will need to read the other books to keep up with the story that goes throughout the series. This book is a holiday one and continues the story of Aspen and Q . We all had questions about her adoptive mother and this is where you get the answer. In the alps on vacation with these two. They are now married and life is going really great for them and I loved that so much. Q thought is still possessive and dominating as he always has been and that makes things even hotter in this book. I hope that man never loses those qualities about his and it makes Aspen one very lucky girl. It was great to get to see her healing from the past and Q right there beside her every single step of the way.

I was transported back to the world of Aspen and Quinton, set against the enchanting backdrop of the Swiss Alps. This Christmas-themed novella beautifully continues the story from the Corium University Series. Quinton's dominant and protective traits add an exciting edge to their relationship, while Aspen, the resilient character, shows growth and depth. The novella, though concise, skillfully ties up lingering questions, especially about Aspen's past. Familiar characters like Lucas and Brittany add layers to the story. As a fan of the series, I appreciated how this book deepened love, trust, and healing themes. It's a must-read for those who've followed Aspen and Quinton's journey, encapsulating the essence of their complex yet endearing love story.

“Aspen, you mean the world to me. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you, nothing I wouldn’t give you so long as it made you happy. You deserve nothing but the best. I only hope I can live up to that. I promise to try every day for the rest of my life. I will do everything in my power to continue earning your love. Because nothing in the world means anything without you. You’re the only thing that matters, my only reason for being.”

I love Q and Aspen when I first read their story. This was such a good glimpse to see how they are now doing. We get to go on a little Christmas vacation and see the sweetness that is Q. He loves Aspen more than anything and he loves doing things for her that make her smile. He will burn down those who cause her pain. This was a cute novella and you get to see some familiar faces. I love this novella so much. Q and Aspen have an even stronger connection than they had before and you see it in how they both Darle with each other. Oh my is their chemistry still sizzling. 🥵🔥 If you want a glimpse on how these two are doing and seeing some familiar faces, grab this book up. You won’t be sorry.

Snowy mountains, sleigh rides, roaring fires for smexy escapades not to mention unlimited shopping sprees for handbags, Quinton Rossi, you old romantic you. Don’t get me wrong, he was still the all alpha, ultra possessive man emanating ‘look at her and die’ vibes we’ve come to adore but marriage to Aspen has softened his edges…... slightly and that’s only where Aspen is concerned in this fantastic novella length holiday romance. It’s not a total love fest as there’s some closure of a sort for Aspen when it comes to family. I also loved the sneaky glimpse of a certain hotel manager on vacation with his girlfriend as fellow guests at Quinton and Aspen’s lodge.

Corium Ever After is a wonderful encore to the Corium University books. It is a perfect and sweet wrap up of Aspen and Quinton's story. After all the dark trauma and violence that started their relationship, this was a pleasant surprise. Not only do we see how they are doing two years into their marriage but we also get answers to some unresolved questions. Quinton is still completely obsessed and protective of Aspen, he is willing to do anything to keep her happy and smiling. Aspen is truly living her best life and enjoying it. It ends with an exciting little tidbit of their future. If you enjoyed The Corium University books, you don't want to miss this little treat.

Quinton made Aspen's life a living nightmare when she first arrived at Corium University. When the truth of her past came to light, he committed his life to treat her as his queen. In this book, Quinton whisks Aspen to Switzerland for a private and intimate Christmas getaway. When Aspen thinks she sees someone from her past, Quinton does what he does to help her find closure. I loved this glimpse into their happy life as a married couple. I also liked the bread crumbs that mentioned his best friend, Ren, who has left Quinton wondering why his like-a-brother friend would betray him. Keeping fingers crossed that we find out what happened to Ren!

What a wonderful little peek into the lives of Quinton and Aspen. It shows their life as a married couple enjoying Christmas vacation in the Swiss Alps before heading back to Corium University. Q's softer side shines through as he doats on her at every turn. That's not to say he isn't just as obsessed and possessive of her because he's definitely is and will prove it in an instant. I hope we get to catch up with them in future books.

I received an ARC from the author through Bookfunnel an I'm voluntarily leaving my review.

Corium Ever After is book 6 in the Corium University series. This novella reads like an extended epilogue, giving readers a look at Quentin and Apen's 'Ever After'. Being set at Christmas time only added to that magical feeling.

Being book 6, and a novella, I expected a little more story and less epilogue. Several times I found myself getting sucked in, thinking something was going to happen, only to realize it was like a loose end being tied up.

It was short, sweet, with a fair amount of spice. For anyone wanting to know more about Q and Aspen, this is the place to go.

The future.....

Corium Ever After is a bonus novella that must be read after Corium University, books 1 - 3 and gives a glimpse in the future of Q and Aspen during a Christmas Holiday vacation in the Alps.

It was really enjoyable to see the other side of Q as na narrued man to his Corium sweetheart, ever dominating and possessive, but most of all the protective cocoon around his wife.
The struggles and hardships of the past left its dents and now is the time to heal and look forward with the deepest love and lots of spice!

A breath of hope!

I was so excited that we got more from Quinton and Aspen because their story was so heart wrenching and twisted it was was right up my dark twisted heart’s alley. This short story has us falling all over again with Q and the way he adores Aspen by showing her over and over again he would do anything for her shows us how much he has fallen for her. I love that we get a glimpse of Q’s soft side and his fierce side when it comes protecting her as well. I wish we could spend alll the time in the world with them but this was such a nice glance at where they are now.

Epilogue Continued

This novella is like an epilogue part 2 to Aspen and Quinton’s tragic love story. You definitely want to read the previous books in the series prior to this extended epilogue. It was a nice read to catch us up with the lives of Aspen and Quinton and having it set for Christmas is perfect for the upcoming holiday.

One special note. This series is a dark romance with an enemies to lovers theme. Possible triggers in all books.

I was really happy when I saw this book!
I'm so happy that Aspem and Quinton got another chance to show their happily ever after.

Aspen and Quinton love each other and have grown a lot since the first book. Both of them have been through their issues and have come out stronger.

I enjoyed reading how much they have grown and will do anything for each other.
Both of them have faced betrayal and backstabbed by the people, but they face everything.

I wish that Scarlett gets a chance to shine. I have been waiting for her story for a long time.

This is the 6th book in this impressive series, and the continuation of Aspen and Quinton’s journey.
Quinton is overprotective, but Aspen brings out his softer side, and she is haunted by her past, which has him on a mission to destroy anything which causes her pain.
This is a well written easy to read story, with emotions, romance, revelations, betrayal, which leads to an unpredictable, entertaining, and steamy page turner.

I loved reading this dip back into the Corium University world and Aspen & Quinton's life 2 years later. A naughty Christmas Holiday full of all sorts of steaminess but being there bring a character to put a holt to all of their fun. I loved the pop up of characters from another book. This was a great addition to this series. It hinted to some unfinished business that I cant wait to read about in future books.

Loved getting back to Corium and seeing how Q and Aspen were doing. A Christmas vacation in the Alps with them was the perfect way to cozy up this evening. The spice was fantastic and the added little mystery was so good. My only complaint was seeing Scarlet and wondering about Ren when we have absolutely no clue when we'll be getting the end of their story (this didn't impact my stars, just made me sad lol) All in all I absolutely loved this little novella.

A nice ending

I was so surprised by this release, especially considering it’s just one of the authors writing it, but I was happy to get back to the world of Corium. I missed Quinton and Aspen, and this was a cure holiday novella. It did give little hints at the next book in Ren’s duet (which I can’t wait for) as well as a reminder of what happened previously. It was short, sweet and definitely full of spice.

It wasn’t a bad short story, but it got boring after a while. The chapters where Aspen and Q were in Switzerland were cute, lovely and sweet. But after they returned to Corium the sex scenes were unnecessary and repetitive. I didn’t need once again reading like 4-5 pages describing the action, so I just skipped few paragraphs. And the scene with the tattoo was large as hell almost making me fall asleep… Anyway, the end of the story made up for it being the expected one.
