Challenges the concept that not all whole life policies are bad. The secret is to get a damn good agent and arm yourself with knowledge to get a whole life policy that works to your advantage, not the insurance company's. However, reading other reviews about whole life... it seems like it's generally recommended for those who are high income earners who have maxed out the other retirement options (401k, Roth, IRAs, etc.), for those who have a disabled child that they want cared for, or for those who have large estates that could trigger taxes.

Excellent book of financial planning education.

Whole life beats the market, even an index funds, when net income over time, and passing wealth along tax free, are considered.

Also, a huge no worry factor.
These companies are rock solid.
