Another great book in the series. As much as I love these books, I am a little broken by how one of the parts played out. So sad! I really was hoping for a different outcome. A part of me is still holding out hope, maybe *witness protection” like twist?! That would be beyond perfect. But even if I don’t get the ending that I want, this book was just as good as the others. Binged it sooooo fast. Can’t wait to read the next one and see where the story takes us.
Cami and Connor are working much better together although both are grieving over Thomas. She is still rebellious but much more adapted than at the beginning of the series and, hopefully, she will not become a "strictly by the book" agent. I wonder what will she find out in the computer that belonged to the ex-FBI agent she stole. I thank the author for this ARC.
After Ethan dies, Cami seems really remorseful, but doesn't tell the whole truth about why they were at that club. Connor gets called for a new case and Cami convinces him to let her help. It takes a while, but she eventually comes through. Good Read.
