This was a gorgeous story, and the narrator’s did this story justice!

Camden is a quirky( Idr if they said he was neurodivergent) piano major. His parents are not the most supportive of him, but push him to fit into their perfect mold of what a son should be.

Royal is a twin who is on scholarship, and the swim team. Indy is his artistic sister who also attends the same college and they are the best of friends. Very supportive of each other in everything that they do.

Royal befriends Ky (idk spelling audiobook remember) whose roommate is not other than Camden. When royal was over one night Camden is practicing the piano. Royal can’t get it out of his head, not only that but he can’t stop thinking about the man playing the piano. This is first because he has never experience a draw like this for anyone let alone a male.

Royal is very accepting of his feelings and shares them with his sister and Ky. Royal tries to find any excuse even needing math help that he doesn’t need to spend time with Camden. The will they won’t they was so cute because Camden had locked his feeling down because his parents were not accepting of this lifestyle for him. But somehow Royal brought these feelings to life and unlocked this part of him.

After Camden went to his first swim meet and Indy convinced his to cheer loudly. Royal knows it’s his time to make his move. He takes Camden out to the lake and tell him how he is having feelings. Their first kiss was amazing and so heart felt. There was ease of them jumping into a relationship.

The problem is they are at a catholic college and Camden parents have program him to believe that the feeling he has for Royal and wrong and disgusting. So they hide their relationship from everyone except the important people. Royal even brings him home for thanksgiving and his family was so excepting

When they return they decide it’s time to come out. Camden parent catch him after a recital and it is not good but he finally stands up for himself. When Royal comes out there is a violent isthe locker room. Everyone is okay but Ky has to repeat the year.
