I was a little scared to go into a book that was surrounded by grief but Briyanna Michelle had a good balance. There is grief, but also healing, love, and humor from some great parents.

You finally decide to go on a date after being discorded for 2 years but your ex husband crashes it because no matter what you’re going through he believes you will always be his.

The question is are you willing to be his again or is the grief to heavy for reconciliation?

I was in a book slump prior to reading and the way it is written, you want to keep turning the pages to find out how their lives got this way and where their relationship would go!

Omg this was beautiful! I wanted to read it slower!
Jameson and Krysten ..first loves, both grieving after a tragedy but finding their way back to each other. Oh I felt the love on the pages, and this one brought tears to my eyes 🥺

Imagine being with the love of yourself since you were children. You get married and have a child together and his family loves you as though you are their own . Then a very tragic incident happens and you can’t find your way out of the dark place that is grief . This second chance romance follows Jamison and Krys as they navigate through grief individually and together . Also how this grief also tore them apart but will also bring them back together .

I really enjoyed the layers within this story. I got to see how Krys was navigating her grief though therapy and through self discovery . We get to see also how though Krys is grieving she is also hurting people who love her .

Please read the trigger warnings. This story is both heavy and beautiful . Such a beautiful story Briyanna . Great job .

When Krysten went to the bathroom & came back to her date gone I was cackling 😂😂. I already knew what type of time Jamie was on. He was any means necessary type of guy. I loved him. He was selfless, protective and fun to be around. Krysten was grieving like hell. She took her emotions out the people close to her but it wasn’t intentional. She was hurting and hurt people hurt people. When she was snowed in the cabin with her ex husband memories and confessions was put on the table. Honestly I believed this space with Jamie was exactly what she needed to heal. They had a great time. It was great seeing them smiling and in great spirits around one another. I love them together. I love me a good second chance story. Yall this was a short, emotional but good read. It was detailed and held my attention.

Healing

Remember Us This Christmas is a story of healing and reconnection with accountability. I didn’t know what to expect when I read this. The story is a bit heavy so read those trigger warnings. Krysten and Jamison are best friends who had to make a decision. That decision to stay and that decision to omit information are two big decisions that ultimately led to their divorce. My suggestion? Read it and get ready.

This is a christmas novella. Briyanna did an amazing job capturing the topics of grief & mental health. I loved Jamie and Kyrsten together. Jamie was protective and selfless. I enjoyed his character. Krysten was grieving and hurting but when they were in the cabin they both worked on healing. I loved this christmas novella. I couldn’t put it down once I started reading.

While I did enjoy this book I wishhhhh it was just a little bit longer to expand on Jamie and Krysten reconnection. I believe that the author did a wonderful job of navigating grief and also healing throughout the story. In the short 82 pages both of the main characters showed examples of growth mentally regarding a traumatic death. A Great Christmas novella that I would highly recommend.

This is not your typical Christmas story. It’s a story of how a divorced couple find their way back to each other after mental illness and the loss of a loved one tore them apart. I love that they got their second chance. Jamison was not playing when it came to his wife lol definitely enjoyed this quick read

Goodness grief. Grief is hard! These characters truly illustrated how it can change your whole world. I was super curious to learn how things went down. Happy to see some healing💜

It was an okay read. It touched mental illness a little bit. Overall it's an okay read. Not a page Turner. It had dialougue snd not just filled with sex so I wanted to give 2.5 stars but this will do.

I would have given this novella 5 stars if there weren’t so many grammatical errors. That was the only negative impact to my experience reading this story. Very touching and did a great job of building suspense regarding what happened with Faith.

Cool

This story was nice. It was a nice second chance love story. The writing felt rushed as if a deadline was looming and time was running out. Quite a few typos and just overall felt a bit rushed. Still a nice story though.
