건우가 종적을 감춘 후 더디게 흘러가는 시간을 버티듯 살아가는 의준. 어느덧 3년이 지나 스물여덟을 맞이한다. 건우를 떠올리게 했던 사람과 시작한 연애. 그리고 아르바이트를 전전하다 어렵사리 취업한 중소기업 영업부. 상처받은 마음으로 인한 것일까? 미세하게 불안하지만 남들과 비슷해 보이는 그런 삶을 살고 있다.

의준은 직장 생활에서 막내, 신입이라는 이유로 상사의 사소한 심부름을 하게 되는데 그중 편의점에 가는 것이 가장 달갑지 않다. 그곳이 건우의 명함에서 보았던 그의 직장 CIK 그룹과 마주 보고 있다는 부분이 마음을 무겁게 만들기 때문이다. 함께했던 시간을 잊고자 하는 노력을 비웃듯 이렇게 추억들은 사소한 순간순간에 떠오른다. 그러던 어느 날, 모르는 번호로 뜻밖의 전화가 걸려오고 의준의 마음이 요동치기 시작하는데….

Leaving me hanging for all this time wasn’t in my 2025 bingo card. The way we left off at the end of the 4th volume, I definitely thought that was it. And now it’s been 3 years (in book) since we left off. So much has changed for Eui-Joon with him trying to move on from the biggest heartbreak of his life. So when Ahjussi walks back into his life, how can he be expected to fall right back into the relationship… will he be broken and left again???

We’ll find out in volume 6, which is the final. 😭

I will never understand the lack of communication where one person just stops talking completely to the other for years! Why is this such a popular troupe. Honestly I feel bad now for him. He was so sad and heart broken he treated so poorly by romantic partners. I just want to hug him and remind him to stand up.

Dieser Band war wieder wirklich gut. Es war eine kleine Umstellung im ersten Moment durch den Zeitsprung, aber trotzdem mochte ich ihn. Am Ende des letzten Bandes war ich wirklich unschlüssig, wie ich den Rest der Geschichte empfinden werde, da dieser mich echt überrumpelt hatte. Aber der Band hat es wett gemacht. Euijoon ist in manchen Dingen wirklich gewachsen und ich freue mich, dass sein Bruder aufgewacht ist. Seinen Stand zu Beziehungen sollte er aber auf jeden Fall nochmal überdenken, denn ich stehe auf jeden Fall auf Seite seiner Freunde, die das ganze auch nicht so als optimal betrachten. Jedoch wurde er wirklich verletzt, wodurch es auch nachvollziehbar ist. Und dann trifft er nicht nur Chaeyeon, sondern auch Gunwoo wieder. Ich bin froh, dass wir vom Wiedersehen beide Perspektiven bekommen haben und auch Gunwoos Erklärung für sein Verhalten. Das Euijoon trotzdem nicht sofort Feuer und Flamme ist, ist aber auch verständlich. Jedoch ist die Anziehung der beiden weiterhin riesig und heiß. Ich frage mich, wie die Reihe nun enden wird, denn so ganz hat Euijoon seine alten Fäden noch nicht durchgeschnitten, auch wenn er wieder etwas mit Gunwoo angefangen hat. Hoffentlich endet es gut ohne große Probleme und die beiden können zusammen in eine positivere Zukunft sehen. Denn auch wenn ich manches Verhalten etwas toxisch empfinde, kann ich nicht umher, für die beiden die Daumen zu drücken.

A three-year jump?! EXCUSE ME??

This volume came in swinging — emotionally, erotically, everything-ally. I wasn’t ready for the heat, and I definitely wasn’t ready for the soft ache that crept in right after. The tension, the longing, the unresolved everything… it hit me straight in the chest.

And yes. Yes, it was hot. Like, I needed a breather between panels kind of hot. Do not underestimate the power of soft eyes and rough hands.

Now I’m just sitting here, borderline feral, waiting for Volume 6 like my life depends on it. Because honestly? It kinda does.
