About the author

Allyson Johnson has been a professional voice-over actor for more than 17 years and has narrated well over 100 audiobooks. She is a multiple AudioFile Magazine Earphone Award winner and Audie nominee. She got her start in front of the camera at age 12 when she co-anchored “Bubble Gum Digest”, a weekly children’s TV news program in Chicago, for which she won an Emmy Award. From her home studio in Harlem, NYC, Allyson is currently narrating / producing the audio theatre version of Judith Bourassa Joy's YA sci-fi title, "A Doorway Through Space" (Mayhaven Publishing).
