Loved this author and her books! You always get a good story and Bible study. The important of family and faith stand out in this story. Pace knew without a doubt what he wanted and he could trust God to get it. Harmony had to learn what he already knew about faith in God. The Jamieson’s are truly a family that pray together and stay together. Can’t wait for the next story about them!

Accomplices in Love by Pat Simmons
The Jamieson Legacy Book Fourteen
Parke “Pace” Jamieson has found “the one” and plans to pursue her. She is friends with his two sisters from college and ended up staying with them over Christmas. Harmony’s in Chicago, only five hours away. When a Jamieson man finds his woman…he doesn’t give up until she’s his.
Harmony Reed enjoyed Christmas with the Jamieson family, but she’s enjoying the rest of her holidays with her family. She’s bothered by something, though. She’d asked her two best friends a question, and they avoided answering. Now, there is a wedge between them. Pace had visited her in Chicago and enjoyed their time together, but she couldn’t date him with this disconnect from his sisters.
The story is full of twists and turns, and when it finally looks like everything is ironed out—another big wrinkle pops up and throws them off the course.
A page-turning, intriguing story. I also went through a few tissues while reading, so if you cry easily, you may want some nearby.

Parke Jamieson VIII, aka Pace, is certain he’s met the woman God has ordained for him. In “Accomplices in Love,” author Pat Simmons deftly portrays Pace’s inner struggles, reflecting on the complexities of love, loyalty, and faith. After all, Harmony Reed, is his sisters’ best friend. Yet, as he grows more determined to prove his love for her, Pace faces a dilemma; his sisters Kami and Victoria are withholding a secret from Harmony, so their relationship is rocky. This secret threatens to upend their blossoming romance. As Pace and Harmony wrestle with the new dynamics of their relationship with each other and his sisters, Simmons infuses a conflict of conscience: do you tell your best friend everything?

Pace’s devotion to his Christian values is genuine, but Harmony’s heart yearns for truth and authenticity, which has been shattered by her “former” best friends. The truth is Victoria’s to tell, but what if that moment never comes? Pace is fervent in his prayers and his bold moves to convince Harmony to believe in and for them. His persistence convinces his parents and hers, and even her brothers warm up to him. Nevertheless, Harmony is a recent college graduate who chooses to pursue her own path. She has no clue about the tenacity of Jamieson men to leave no stone unturned in their pursuit and protection of the women who capture their hearts.

“Accomplices in Love,” not only explores the moral implications of family secrets but also raises profound questions about forgiveness, redemption, and the true meaning of love. It’s a captivating read with a rich emotional core, where the characters grapple with real-life challenges and risks. It’s a reminder that love sometimes requires bravery, honesty, and faith in equal measure. The Holy Spirit is our ally, but it also helps when your last name is Jamieson.

Good series..but...

I really, REALLY liked this entire series. The characters were great and I love how they ran throughout each book. I loved the connections to God, Salvation, the Holy Ghost, spesking in toungues, and church.
My challenges:
1 Contempt was not my kind of book. I did not enjoy the back and forth, past and present. It was hard for me to complete, but I just skipped the past stuff and read the present chapters so I wouldn't miss future details for other books that came afterwards.
2 What happened to Rainey and Josephine? We never heard from them again.
2 The ending of this particular book, Accomplices in Love, was very disappointing.... Did they get together? What about the "distance & location" issues? It didn't resolve as well as previous books. I felt like I was missing a conclusion and a HEA.

Hopefully, there will be a book for Drexel and Queen Bee, a Robnett's series, and a love for Kami....and maybe Chip and Dale.

I highly recommend this series.

The legacy of the wonderful alpha Jamieson men continues. This next generation possess the same care, respect, tenderness for the females in their lives, with a strong support of family driven men to model the role for them. Pace and Harmony were front and center, and I was very impressed with the young character. His head is anchored firmly. Most exciting is the hint of Victoria maturing into a very capable and loving young lady. Eagerly awaiting the tales of the whole “next” generation and how they navigate their maturity, adult, professional and family lives.

Pat Simmons never disappoints!

As an avid fan of the Jamieson’s series, I am so happy she is continuing with the kids!!

Park Jamieson aka Pace is on a course no man can stop. He has just fallen head over heels with his sisters best friend, Harmony Reed. Harmony has her own reasons for not looking for love. As Pace shows her his love and God’s, Harmony learns to open up.

I love the Jamieson series because God’s love is the theme throughout.

I really enjoy reading about the Jamiesons. This series delves into family legacies and revolves around young love, friendships, secrets, and betrayal. The young adults in this story had to learn some tough life lessons. I also appreciate how the author incorporates themes of inspiration that make you reflect on your Christian faith. The historical aspects of the story are also fascinating. I'm thankful that Grandma BB is still with us. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

WOW!!!

This book was an absolute winner! All of Pat’s books are excellent and well written. However, for those of us who have wives and daughters, it is a good illustration of how men have to cover them spiritually and physically from the evils of this world. We also have to be cognizant of the fact that we must handle the challenges with God leads us. I high recommend this book!

Page turning ministry!

Holy Ghost fiya 🔥 is always working in the author's messages. These stories illustrate the propensity to maintain a relationship with God, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit is advantageous and beneficial! I still maintain that these stories can be a bible study.
I am anticipating additional stories about the next generation "Jamiesons" and "Robnetts". 😉

Pace is part of a loving, spiritual family with some smart, flawed, and crazy characters. Harmony is brought into the group by her connection to his sisters. While establishing a relationship they deal with getting to know each other, their families, quick decisions, and personal conflicts. God is with them through it all!

Good read

Good read, I liked the characters and storyline. Pace was instantly attracted to Harmony his sister’s college friend. This is their Christian journey to courtship and blooming love. It was great to catch up with the Jamieson’s, and all their extended family.
