book that lived up to its title. skipped the part of how sociologists collect and quantify data. the part about pierre bourdieu was my favourite. cultural capital! didn’t realise sociology had so many components like feminism. wasn’t a heavy cognitive book would recommend- gives language to lived experiences.
Each subject is one or two short pages long. Yet, it's perfect for anyone who wants to be introduced to Sociology, as well as various sociologists with their theories. Simple and straight to the point. Great starting point!
