STALKED: An Interracial Erotic Paranormal Horror Romance

Rate this book
Quick-witted and astute, Park Ranger Agnes Stallard has dedicated her life to the protection and conservation of the animals living in Litchfield State Park. Between fighting off poachers and keeping her hot-tempered boyfriend out of trouble, this small-town girl has more than enough to keep her busy. Or so she thinks. When two hikers turn up murdered and eviscerated on her watch, life at her beloved park gets a whole lot more interesting. As more bodies are unearthed, her investigation leads her to the unlikeliest of sources; an ominous presence that once only existed in urban legends. When this being threatens the wolf-pack living at the heart of Litchfield, Agnes is forced to put her very life on the line to secure everything she holds dear—even at the cost of the man she once thought she loved.

Fearless but cynical, Wesley Kristiansen is Litchfield’s reluctant alpha-wolf. Sanctioned by the Ranger Captain himself to defend the colony, he is the judge, jury and executioner for anyone who threatens their way of life. However, this responsibility comes at a cost, creating an atmosphere of dissension and mistrust with the very Lycanthropes he has sworn to safeguard. When members of the pack start disappearing—and turning up dead—Wesley is naturally the first to be blamed. But the horrific threat lurking in the deepest recesses of their once charming forest is far worse than even an angry werewolf with a mate to protect.

With the local authorities demanding answers for the murders, a colony of werewolves ready to revolt, and an ex-boyfriend turned coworker from hell thrown into the mix, the last thing Agnes and Wesley need is a vicious stalker on their tails. But the ancient forests of Litchfield are no longer safe, and if they want to survive the danger skulking in the darkness, carnage and brutality must become their new norm. With their lives and even their relationship on the line, its up to the indomitable lovers to bring about order— by any means necessary.

S T A L K E D is a standalone BWWM shifter romance novel with elements of horror, science fiction and erotica.

Nice Adrenaline Read

This was a nice read and plot aside from majority of the wolf shifter romances I have read. Great opening scene with Wesley opening the gate btw! I liked the fact that there was another (extraterrestrial) element in the book that focused everyone’s attention on coming together, rather than wolf clans fighting. Because I was expecting a bit more of a climatic ending with an explanation coming from the extraterrestrial itself, and I did not get that ending, I am rating it 4 stars. Lastly, I was a little bit disappointed in thinking the extraterrestrial was her father reincarnated, which would have satisfied my extra plot twist boost, but nevertheless, this was a great suspenseful reading nonetheless. Enjoy!

Amazing

This book took me down a rabbit hole. took me almost 3 days to finish and not because I struggled but because I refused to read it if I couldn't give in my undivided attention. There was chemistry, suspense, and sooo many emotions. I cried alot towards the end. I was halfway in when I was wanna parts for Javier and Luther and then i made it down further and was bawling. I'm definitely hoping for another part because I still have questions. What was up with Mara? You mean to tell me she slept in this cave and she didn't suffer the same fate as the others? She didn't feel the eerieness of the cave? Where did the creature come from? How did Agnes survive out when she was so young? Many questions I'm hoping the author comes back to answer. Amazing book.

3.75 Stars - There so much going on in the novel and all of it kept me reading well past my bedtime. The characters are all interesting and if not likable at least not flat or one dimensional. There were some grammatical issues but easy to look past when there is such a mystery to be solved and a murderous creature to destroy.

Different take on the genre

As a fan of the genre, I was pleasantly surprised to find both the Leads. The heroine tienes out to be every bit a fearless and strong as the Alpha. The author did a good Job showing how their individual strengths complemented the other. I liked how, in the end it was Nessie, not her mate Wesley, who literally saved the day using her brains and brawn.

It piqued and held my interest. The characters made the story so much more alluring. The mystery was nail biting, followed by action that kept me locked in to see the end result. I was so glad to see a different gender ultimately save the day

Not bad…

Good storyline, lots of action and a little spice. Some grammatical/spelling issues, but overall a good quick read. Probably more like 3.5 stars than 4…
