Very lucky to have been given the ARC in exchange for a honest review.

No doubt about it, this read will have you feeling all the emotions. What is it about weddings or the mere word that can turn the most chilled out person to act so out of character? The nice term would be passionate, and Alex most definitely was passionate about getting Miles down on one knee and a ring on her finger... the ridiculous things she did to force a proposal really did have me laughing out loud but also left me cringing. Poor Miles, you could clearly feel the love he had for Alex but she was blinded by all the imaginary wedding confetti!! I felt that she lost what marriage was truly about and that good things come to those who wait.

I couldn’t relate to Alex, however I know of people that would. Olivia creates fantastic relatable characters, whether you love them or loathe them they are all brilliant. Her storylines are true to life, crammed with humour and with Roxy around (love her) a few naughty words too!

Read it as part of the series or a standalone it doesn’t matter, it’s a fun carefree read that will leave you smiling after finishing. I’m really hoping it’s not the last time we hear from Alex.

First, I want to thank Olivia Spring for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Thank you Olivia Spring for writing a follow up to my favorite Rom Com of all time Only When It’s Love! I never laughed so hard with a book before as I did that one! Not to mention I loved the characters and the storyline so much! So needless to say I was over the moon with joy when I found out you wrote a follow up to it with When’s The Wedding!!

For those of you who have not read Only When It’s Love you may read When’s The Wedding? As a standalone. Olivia does do a little recap of the first book to jog our minds but I would highly suggest reading Only When It’s Love. You will get a better feel of the characters, storyline, and you can see why I fell in love with that book.

If you have read the first book you will see familiar faces plus get caught up in their lives. There are some exciting event changes happening in some of their lives.

Olivia magically transported her readers to Paris in the opening of this book. She took up on a journey to see the breathtaking panoramic views, devour tasty food, have incredible wine, etc. Everything was perfect except one thing! Alex had her heart settled on a wedding proposal that sadly never happened! Needless to say she was devastated!

Now here was where all the comical parts came into play in the story! Alex used very unique ways to get Miles to take the bait to propose! Some ideas of hers went above and beyond and I couldn’t stop cracking up! She was on a mission!

I am a huge Prince Harry fan so I loved how Olivia slid his name and Megan’s name into the story. There were also other celeb names mentioned too.

Olivia in these two books alone has sent out so many great life lessons.

The names Olivia picked for the dogs were so comical: Lady Gaga, Scooby, and Flapjack!

When’s The Wedding has the sweetest endings ever! I admit rarely does an author move me to happy tears but this author did. I was so incredibly happy over the moon for Alex for so many reasons!

When's The Wedding is the sequel to Only When It’s Love which follows Alexs journey from finding Mr. Right to getting him to propose!

This book is a romantic comedy,  Alex is so crazy and she made me cringe so many times during the book, lol. But I can understand why she did the things she did because she truly loved Miles and felt they were at that point in their relationship that he should have proposed. There were even some "OMG did she really do that moments?",  but all this is what made her relatable.

The ending of the book is one of the sweetest endings I think I've read! Olivia you made me laugh,  cry and cringe and I enjoyed every moment of it!!

I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a laugh and some romantic vibes.

I also would like to thank the author herself,  Olivia Spring for not only providing me with an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review, but for including me in on the book tour!!

My review will be posted on my Bookstagram on March 29th!

I would just like to say a very big thank you to the author for very kindly forwarding me a copy of this book, for my kindle, in return for an honest review.
I love a good rom com and this one didn’t disappoint, it was fantastic. It was full of wonderful, realistic characters and lots of funny moments that had me laughing out loud in quite a few places.
This book is the sequel to Only When It’s Love and follows on the story perfectly but don’t worry if you haven’t read the first book because When’s The Wedding can easily be read as a stand alone as the author gives us little recaps along the way.
I really enjoyed this book and catching up with Alex’s antics and such a lovely ending too!!
Oh and I absolutely loved the dogs names!!

Thank you so much Olivia for inviting me to be a part of this Book Tour!  I loved Only When Its Love so was very excited to read the sequel.

‘When’s the Wedding’ is the anticipated sequel to ‘Only When Its Love’, following on with Alex’s Journey from finding Mr Right to getting him down the Aisle!  Although I have read them both, you could most definitely read this as a stand-alone novel.

This book is a fantastic Romantic Comedy, Alex is absolutely crazy in this novel and so many times you will cringe and think OMG did she really just do that.  But who am I to judge, this story has a lot of similarity to 2015 for me!!!!

What was extra exciting is that you can download 3 extra chapters at the end to get a sneak peek at Alex and Miles next Chapters!  I really hope that there will be a third book as I feel that there life is only just beginning and there are so many more opportunities for Alex to be the crazy cat woman we all love!

Firstly, a huge thank you to Olivia for inviting me to part of your blog tour and sending me the ARC for this fabulous, romantic book!

Alex has had to kiss many frogs AKA get shot of all the F***boys she once minced with to finally have found The One...The One who she wants to put a ring on it!

I found this story is relatable in so many ways, whether it’s personal (guilty in some ways 🙋🏻‍♀️) or you’ve heard about 1000 proposals/wedding plans from hell from somebody else and it will make you want to run for the hills (No doubt Alex’s 3 Cs to get the dream proposal will scar you for life) Alex is itching for Miles to pop the question, but has managed to set up the perfect setting and time scale in her head without Miles having a scooby. Think of the scenes from the famous rom-com BrideWars and Carrie Bradshaw’s OTT wedding build up in Sex and The City. Alex builds up her dream wedding/proposals from scrap books, endless rom-com films, however couldn’t be further away from a proposal if she tried! I loved Alex’s character in the story however I did want to head butt my kindle several times for her pushy ways!

Ahh, Miles - what a hot cherub, not a bad bone in that fine body of his and just wanting to ensure he is making the right decision, at the right time. Patience of a saint but will Alex’s subtle hints about marriage steer him away ?

I understood Alex and it’s crystal clear to see how you can get so wrapped up in it. I was itching for Alex go in with a blank canvas and start fresh with her plans! Luckily, Alex has a handful of people around her trying to keep her grounded but is it enough ? This book will also make you want to work and hang out with furry friends all the time ! (After all, animals are better than humans and provide the best TLC)

This can be ready as a stand alone, but I highly recommend Only When It’s Love - an uplifting, corker of a book that will have you laughing out loud and cringing at the same time with the world of modern dating!

A special thank you to the author, Olivia Spring, for inviting me to participate in the blog tour and for generously providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Now that she’s found the perfect man, will she get her perfect proposal?

Alex, a marketing manager for a dog hotel, has always dreamed of having a fairy-tale proposal—one with a glorious sunset, iconic backdrop, and rose petals. She's found her Mr. Right. Life with her boyfriend Miles, a sexy paediatrician, couldn't be more perfect! Except...he's no closer to putting a ring on it despite saying that he's ready for marriage.

After a romantic getaway to Paris ends in more disappointment, and Alex receives news that sends her world into a spin, she decides that the proposal of her dreams won't just fall into her lap. So she takes matters into her own hands and hatches a plan that will lead to a proposal—a little bit of hinting can't hurt.

Will Alex get her happily-ever-after, or is there a reason why Miles is dragging his feet?

Readers of my blog will know how much I adore British authors. I love their humour and their phrasing, and I've been gobbling up their books in all different genres. And Spring is no exception. She pens modern and fun characters and layers her stories with humour without being campy. Olivia brings something fresh with her contemporary approach to relationships.

After falling in love with Alex from Only When It's Love, I couldn't wait to see what she's been up to. Doesn't working at a dog hotel sound like the perfect job? Alex maintains her status as the perfect leading lady by being relatable and someone you'd like to have as a friend. She's tenacious with just the right amount of cheekiness. And we can't forget the heat! Spring fans the flames between Alex and Miles (warning: some may be offended at some of the language).

The cast of supporting characters are just as developed and well-written as the leads. Readers of Spring's are in for a treat with cameos by characters from her other books.

Although this is a sequel to Only When It's Love, it can be read as a standalone novel.

Title: When’s The Wedding
Author: Olivia Spring
Hero/Heroine: Miles and Alex
Trope: N/A

THE GOOD 😁

In a nutshell - Miles. I adored his character so much, especially having to put up with Alex’s constant hints about proposing, poor bloke deserved a medal. Patient, kind and an absolute hottie, he was the perfect hero.
Another thing that I loved about this book was the working relationship between Alex, Goldie and Jada. A proper solid unit, they always had each other’s backs and the dog hotel sounded like an amazing place to work.
As always with an Olivia Spring book, there was plenty of humour along with a few humorous situations that Alex, our heroine, got herself into (the tennis game with Miles was one that immediately came to mind). Also, that ending made me love Miles even more *sighs dreamily*.

THE BAD ☹️

I have to hold up my hands and admit that for about three quarters of the book, I really wanted to slap Alex and tell her to get a grip. She had the most gorgeous man who adored her, and because she felt like she was heading toward some non existent deadline, she was pressuring him to propose. Thankfully toward the end of the book, my feelings toward her changed when she realised what she stood to lose if she carried on the way she was.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: A proper feel good romantic comedy with a gorgeous hero and determined heroine
STEAM LEVEL: 🔥🔥
STAR RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Today marks my spot on the blog tour for this book! Kindly *gifted* to me, in exchange for a review. ☺ ⁣

Synopsis: ⁣
The sequel to Miles and Alex! Now that Alex had found her 0ergect man, her mission is to marry him. After all  he said he'd be ready for marriage a year or so in to their relationship so what could possibly delay the ring being on her finger?... 💍 ⁣

My thoughts: ⁣
This was the perfect story for conveying the relationship ideals that are placed on couples. The usual 'get married and have kids' scenario. 'All of your friends are doing it so you should to' vibes. ⁣

Alex was basically droning on about pushing Miles to propose and I sat as a reader thinking 'give it a rest' 😂 and agreeing with her friends who said it was outrageous. But still seeing where Alex was coming from in her need to feel on the track to her future. ⁣

The last quarter of the book was my absolute favourite. I can't give anything away without spoilers but it was so heartwarming ❤ ⁣

I recommend reading Only When It's Love first, as it gives you more background. I feel like I would have really disliked Alex in this if I hadn't read the first one 😂 ⁣

This book is the sequel to "Only When It's Love", which I re-read to refresh myself of the story. However, there's enough recapping of events and characters in "When's The Wedding?" to appreciate as both a sequel and a standalone novel.

I enjoyed that Alex was inspired from her previous challenges set by Laurie Love to create her own goals, however in her naivety she gets carried away and fails to see how good she actually has it! It was a relief that she is surrounded by (mainly) supportive characters who keep her grounded.

As you're rooting for Alex to get her real life fairytale, it's heartwarming to learn she's found a job she's passionate about, and is settled with the very lovely Miles.

A lighthearted read, this book is ideal for a bit of escapism. I haven't downloaded the bonus chapters yet, but I'm hoping this means there will be a 3rd book in the series!

I have loved every one of Olivia Spring’s novels and When’s The Wedding was no exception. Although it is the sequel to Only When It’s Love, this could absolutely be read as a standalone.

The story starts with Alex and Miles at the top of the Eiffel Tower. The location of many proposals, Alex fully expects Miles to propose there and then. What follows is in equal parts hilarious and totally cringe-worthy as Alex decides she must prepare a plan to get Miles to propose.

I think we’ve probably all known bridezillas before, but I’m not sure I’ve ever met a pre-bridezilla. If not, Alex was certainly it! Her obsession knew no bounds, and she was so outrageously determined to force a proposal out of Miles one way or another. I must confess to finding it difficult to relate to Alex over this. I am married, and have been for many years, but I don’t think I ever felt the need to be married. I got married because it was what my partner wanted. My commitment to him was always the same, marriage did not change that. However, I do understand that people like my husband do feel the need to make it official. Alex was definitely at the extreme end of that though!

I did enjoy some of the challenges that Alex set out to do, and who knew that ‘engagement chicken’ really was a thing? I must confess it sounded delicious, and having googled for the recipe, the next time I cook a chicken I will absolutely be trying out the recipe!

I loved Miles, as I did in Only When It’s Love, and I thought he had so much patience with Alex and her not very subtle hints! I adored the additional characters, some old, familiar ones, and some new. I loved the ‘siblings’ so much. I’m a sucker for dogs in books, so I really had a soft spot for them. I also loved how they were so good at judging character!

This laugh out loud romcom ticked so many boxes for me, and I really did not want to put it down. The endearing and heart-warming ending to this book was so sweet and just perfect for both Alex and Miles.

This book was so sweet and hilarious. Alex is obsessive, can you be a bridezilla before you become a bride? 🤣 And despite the amazing love story between her and Miles, not being engaged by their two year anniversary has her all kinds of confused and worried.

I adored this book. Alex is frustratingly wedding crazy and Miles is such a sweetheart. I actually cried at some parts in this book because I was so moved by the words.

You do not have to read the first book to enjoy this one, but I highly recommend you do. ❤️ Pick this one up, it's adorable and funny, and so worth the read.

Good sequel to only when it's love

At first I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it as much as the first book as I felt Alex was being a bit obsessed with being engaged but as I got more into the book I enjoyed it more as she learned more what was important in her life. I read it in one go as I wanted to know how it would end

A great follow up to the first book, not enough authors do this! The female character is frustratingly in her own head which made me shout out loud at her at times to see what she had and stop obsessing! However we all know we do this at times although maybe don’t take it as far 😂 An enjoyable read that kept me hooked to see how it ended

Alex is ready to get married and so she takes matters into her own hand with Miles. The storyline that follows is great. Both characters and storyline are engaging and well developed with plenty of chemistry throughout.

The first 40% I just couldn’t get into it and found Alex a pain, keep going on about wanting to get engaged and dropping soo many hints to Miles to pop the question.
One of my first thoughts was that why couldn’t Alex just ask but there we go😂

Then the last 40%, I loved it and couldn’t put it down. I loved how Alex completely changed and realised she didn’t needs an over the top wedding and everything she’s dreamed about of. Just her closest friends and family.

Also, ending at the cinema😭 I need a Miles of my own.

If you haven’t brought this book, do and let me know what you think!
