This is not a textbook. This is not an instruction manual. This is not five hundred pages of baby-related advice. It's the (short-ish) story of a pregnancy from a male perspective, which may - if you are in a similar situation - allow you to understand what lies ahead. It might also give you a little bit of reassurance that what is happening during your experience of the pregnancy process is actually pretty normal. Or - if you're not waiting for the pitter-patter of tiny feet - it might just let you have an insight into someone else's life at an interesting and memorable time.
When my wife was pregnant, I kept a diary, with the sole aim that it would be something nice that we could both look back on in the future, to remember a special time in our lives. As it turned out, she liked what she read and she was keen for me to share it, in case it could be of any help to anyone else who was in a similar situation. So I gave it to a couple of people that I knew who had babies on the way. They liked it. They said it helped them, just a little bit, but that was enough.
So here is our story. I hope you like it. Good luck!
