WARNING: THIS BOOK IS NOT SUITED FOR ANYONE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE. IT CONTAINS FREQUENT SEXUALLY EXPLICIT CONTENT BETWEEN CONSENTING ADULTS. IF A LOT OF HOT, VERY EXPLICIT SEX OFFENDS YOU, PLEASE DON'T PURCHASE THIS BOOK. This book is Eric's point of view from my first book Natasha's Awakening. Taming Eric like Natasha's Awakening can be read as stand alone novels or read both. Taming Eric does contain bonus material at the end which is not in Natasha's Awakening. These are both long books so if you're after a quick read, these books are not for you. If you don't like the male point of view that repeats the story then this book is not for you although there is so much about Eric Rothman that isn't clear in Natasha's Awakening and it gives readers a chance to learn more about this alpha male who is sensitive at heart. Description. Eric Rothman CEO of Rothman Enterprises had worked alongside his PA Natasha Barrington for almost a year maintaining a strong working relationship with her while enjoying a steady stream of beautiful model girlfriends that passed through his life. He did everything he could to avoid commitment, women were for sex and to look good on his arm but slowly he began to notice something about Natasha that drew his attention and had him wanting her with a desire that was starting to consume his mind and body. It was both surprising and enlightening when one day he realised she was interested in him too and he propositioned her. One week in a hotel for sex and nothing but sex, making it perfectly clear to her that there would be nothing beyond that week. He thought he was the victor when she agreed to his terms but was the whole thing going to backfire on him? There was something about Natasha that drew him to her. She was like no other woman he'd ever been with and for the first time in his life he was fearful of being vulnerable. He had secrets about his past that made him the way he was and his PA was threatening to destroy everything he'd fought so hard for years to protect himself from.
From my teenage years, all I wanted to do was become a writer one day. Even now as an adult woman with three children who are not so little anymore, I've always lived with my head in the clouds, a dreamer, often amusing myself with my own imagination. It might have taken me awhile to finally live my dream, but I did it. I hope to one day be good enough to stand beside the many talented writers out there who have kept me entertained with their wonderful stories over the years. I live in a sleepy country town in Tasmania, Australia with my three children, my little dog who thinks he’s a Dobermann. I've had to overcome many emotional obstacles along the way to get to this point and attempting to self-publish a book does tend to make a person feel like they've thrown themselves in at the deep end of the pool. Here's hoping some of you actually like what I write and save me from drowning in the deep end as I probably forgot to mention, I can't swim. J. A Melville.
I had the privilege of reading this as she was writing it and I think I loved it more than Natasha's Awakening. This is Eric's POV and he is so set that he is not worthy of love from anyone. And he can't believe that he might be falling for Natasha. His pain tore and broke my heart and made me love him more. He tries to spend the week with Natasha and before the week is over, he doesn't want it to end. Eric may be the CEO of Rothman Enterprises but he turns to jelly every time he thinks of being near Natasha. Eric will go through lots of emotions and will finally figure out where he wants to be and that surprises him the most. They go from spending a week in a luxury hotel in Sidney to his country home in Tasmania. The descriptions of the scenery make me want to go to Australia.
~~~WARNING: YES this book is long but worth the read, Yes it is not meant for anyone under the age of 18.~~~
And the bonus material is extra special too. A perfect companion book to Natasha's Awakening. J.A. I am so proud you finished this one. And can't wait to re-read it.
I received and ARC for an honest review. So here's my review! You meet Eric daydream about his "girl next day" PA Natasha. Eric is a high powerful Billionaire who dates his fair shares of models but it's not what he wants. What he does want is the PA who's been working for him for over a year. He breaks it off with his psycho model girlfriend, to see if he could have a week fling with his PA. Natasha is also crushing in her boss so when he offers a week of hot amazing sex she agrees (now who could refuse an offer like that). They start their week of hot sex and when I mean hot sex HOT DAMN!!! I course they have a few little mishaps but they always come back together. Eric does fall in love with Natasha but of course he's chicken shit to tell her till it's too late. Fortunately for him time was on his side and she forgave him. They end up getting married where Eric planned the whole thing while she was preggers with twins! Loved that nothing was left unfinished. It was a long read but she could have ended it with a cliffhanger and everyone would've been upset! Great read!
I was given this book by author for honest review. Told from CEO Eric Rothman point of view when he takes his PA Natasha Barrington on a trip away to get each other out of their systems. It doesn’t work as expected. Eric has trouble admitting his feelings out loud and believes himself to be unworthy of love. In the course of their relationship his insecurities lead to much misunderstanding and difficulties for them both. This book has super hot sexy scenes and ex-girlfriend stalker drama.
OMG Eric's back and he's as hot as I remember. Not only is this book erotic it had me crying in parts of the story. Jacqui has brought this book to life with plenty of heartfelt emotion. It's an amazing book. I'd recommend everybody reads this. Jacqui you're a truly amazing author and friend. I can't wait for your next book.
The first telling of this story (Natasha's Awakening) had its tedious moments but half way through the interest picked up and resulted in an enjoyable, fascinating story line. Can any good come from retelling the same story twice with just a slight change of point of view? I think not. There were no surprises, no mysteries or suspense. One knows what happens and quickly skimming through the pages is a result. For what it is worth, the plot would have been richer to have Eric's thoughts woven in along side with Natasha's in the first book. Gifted story teller but bumbled on the delivery.
~~~~~~~~~~Lindsey's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Some people have issues with different points of view during the same story. I thought having Erik's point of view is important. I love knowing each point of view. It brings more development of the characters out for the reader. Melville's warning about long books made me laugh just because I love long books. Reading this book is a must as well.
I don't know what it is about a book from a male POV but this was fantastic!! I loved every second of it. Yes, I'd read the first book, so I knew the story but reading it from Eric's POV was awesome. I loved getting inside his head and it made me fall in love with him even more. There is just something about a man who feels broken that touches my heart. He loves so deeply and that came across so clearly in this re-telling. Another great book my J.A. Melville!!!

This is Eric's POV and he is such a dark, deep man. His POV lets you see him as a man, a scarred man no less. I think you can read this one without reading Natasha's Awakening and still fall in love with him. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review and I loved it. Getting ready to read Saving Erica now.
Taming Eric is a sexy suspenseful read that I would suggest to any reader who likes erotica. Which when some think erotica they think short sexy story. No not at all this story is full of life live and drama to keep you going and drooling right up until the last page.
