A comprehensive review of the book of Romans in the Bible chapters one through eight. The author uses an illustration of a turtle positioned on a fence post throughout this commentary to explain, and show our complete dependence on God for our salvation and righteousness. This commentary follows a narrative format and not the traditional verse by verse format that most commentaries utilize. I found the narrative format to be more captivating and engaging than the traditional formats. While you can read this book without a Bible present, I would encourage the student to have their Bible available to follow along with the commentary.
