Sweet Christmas Conundrum is a later novella in the Sweet Cove paranormal cozy mystery series. I accidentally read it out of order, but it was perfectly enjoyable anyway with only a few minor spoilers. Though short, this story is fully fleshed out, an intriguing mystery, and most importantly, an absolutely atmospheric, Christmasy story.

The mystery begins when the widowed Mrs. Bell, who is struggling to run her family’s Christmas tree farm on her own, has a series of incidents that threaten the safety of her Bart, her farm manager. They seem far too coincidental to be excused as anything other than intentional and targeted. Bart is gruff and grumpy and not well-liked, but who would take it to the extreme and harm him because of it, or even worse?

Our favorite sisters, with the sweet Mr. Finch and the quintessential cats are called in to help investigate this mystery. They succeed in unraveling it, only to discover a surprising twist at the end. What makes this story especially appealing is that it is full-to-bursting with festive, holiday cheer, sweet traditions, a warm, family gathering, and a setting that encapsulates Christmas. It was a genuine treat to read.

Wonderful Holiday Story

I enjoyed this book very much. I love holiday stories, but this one was my favorite. I read each book in this series as soon as they are published. The Roseland sisters are very gifted. I love reading about the decorations and all the baked goods. The gowns they wore to the gala were gorgeous. Another great story to read again and again. 😊😊

Four Paranormal Sisters and Two Psychic Cats

"Sweet Christmas Conundrum" is a novella in A Sweet Cove Mystery series, written by J. A. Whiting and published in December of 2023. This is the first novella in the series. I love this series about the four Roseland sisters: Angie and Jenna (fraternal twins), Ellie, and Courtney; and their husbands Josh, Tom, and Jack, respectively, and Courtney's fiance Rufus. The series also includes Mr. Finch, the Roseland sisters' honorary adopted elderly friend, and Police Chief Philip Martin. And let us not forget Euclid and Circe, two psychic, loving, and fiercely protective family cats. This 11 Chapter novella happens at Christmastime, when several "accidents" occur at a Christmas Tree Farm. Mrs. Bell, the owner of the tree farm, asks the Roseland sisters to help her find out why her farm manager, Bart, is being targeted with several dangerous accidents. Are they accidents? Or are they something more sinister? There are numerous suspects, because none of Bart's coworkers like him. He's quite a hateful individual. Why does the farm seem to be losing money when the staff members claim it is busier than it has ever been? Will the sisters find out what's going on before one of the sisters and Mrs. Bell die? Or will a sister and two firstly kitty cats save the day and the lives of their loved ones? I gave this book 5 stars, but it deserves about 100 stars. I received and advanced reader's copy and this is my honest review.

Christmas tree farm

It's Christmas time, the Roseland sisters, Mr Finch and family are getting ready for Christmas when Mrs Bell goes to them because she's having trouble at her Christmas tree farm and as for help. She is having financial trouble and accidents are happening and may have to sell the farm. Angie talks to her family to see if they can figure out what is happening. Good story and characters, loved the story.

Great Christmas Mystery

Fun Christmas story by US Whiting. The Rosalind sisters and Me Finch solve another mystery. What I love about all the books and especially this one is the imagery that's created. I feel as if I can smell the items baked or actually see what's being described. Excellent series that I highly recommend!

A delightful Christmas book! A short Christmas mystery with charming characters, wonderful cats, adorable little girls, Magick, evildoers doing evil deeds, a mystery to solve (of course), recipes!, no editing issues, and no cliffhanger ending.
The perfect Christmas book to curl up in a comfy chair in front of a fireplace with a cup of tea and enjoy.

Interesting story

As always I enjoyed the latest installment of this series. There were a few pages missing right at the climax of the story but luckily I was able to figure out what I'd missed.
