What a web!
This series of six “books” is really one complete novel. There are so many characters, both living and dead, that it gets really confusing. To be honest, I still don’t quite understand who all the bad guys are, who killed whom, and how the detectives are related to all the entanglements. This series needs a chart, like those genealogical ones, at the end to understand it all. Unless I missed something, while wandering through the weeds, I don’t know that it ever became clear what was going on with the heroine’s boss and her job loss. Maybe I need to get a white board and start putting it all together, too. All that said, it held my interest, but I certainly wouldn’t want to be any of the characters, whether involved in the messy web or trying to untangle it.

Fantastic series!
I loved every book in this fantastic series! Amy Rafferty always keeps me thoroughly engrossed in the plots of her books and I am unable to put them down for even a minute. The guilty party is always a surprise to me, and I love the romance that is interlaced with each mystery. Brilliant series by a truly great author!
I read these books as part of an advance reader team and am providing my honest assessment of the books.

Could have been 5
Hard pressed to call this a series rather than a book because that's what it really is. Each "book" is just a continuation of the previous one and not a story in itself. Editing is definitely needed. All this being said, its a very good mystery with lots of good twists and turns. If you can get around the editing and know you have to read all the books for the story you will enjoy.

Just finished reading Charming Bookshop Mysteries.WOW!WOW! This series has so much suspense, drama, secrets, and family that it is totally fantastic. I have read all but one of your series, and this one was absolutely phenomenal. All the drama, trying to figure out who did what and who was behind all the wrong doing in town. It just keeps your brain going to figure everything out. The characters are amazing. Thank you so very much for this series. It really had me in detective mode. Loved it.

Home town problems
This was one of the best who done it books I have read in a VERY long time. Many twists and turns had me turning the pages every time I had a free minute. It kept peaking my interest until the very last page. Enjoy
