I have to admit, I had a "not so good" start with this one.
Part One felt like the standard beginner advice you’d find in any article or YouTube video. But then, it really picks up.
Part Two was a highlight, especially as a foreigner living in the UK. It’s refreshing to see a discussion tailored to the UK, considering how much of the online space is dominated by US perspectives. The author’s background as a black woman made the book feel even more personal and relatable.
Part Three was the perfect culmination, reinforcing an important message: money is a tool to live, not the end goal.
Overall, this book offers valuable insights and sparks the right conversations, whether with family, friends, or yourself. While it didn’t break entirely new ground for me, it provided great takeaways and pointed me toward topics I want to explore further.
