Ugh…. What a waste.
This could have been so good!
I wanted revenge, drama and a woman fed up and fighting back against her cheating husband. But this was so POORLY executed I honestly just don’t know what to say. I’m gonna bullet point my issues and leave it at that.
‼️First I hate to say this but the writing was bad it threw me off and kept me from really getting into the story.
‼️H and h are married w 3 kids and he has cheated like the worst manwhore known to all men. But instead of leaving him along time ago she ignores his cheating diseased dick and only gets mad when he decides to steal her software and leave her out of it…. Makes no sense infact I can’t respect her at all.
‼️ALLLLLL the characters were horrid and irredeemable. The h wasn’t any better than her asshole of a husband, friends or cousin.
‼️60% of this book is wasted space of her doing mommy duties. I suspect it was the authors way of making us like the h or feel sorry for her but…. Yeah epic fail. And BORING AS ALL HELL.
‼️The h is cheating with her LOVER for 4 years but instead of leaving her worthless husband she stays for the kids even though he’s non existent as a father and borderline abusive to them. Meanwhile the real HERO is amazing to her and the kids… SO WHY THE FUCK STAY …it makes no sense. Plus spoiler….
The lover is father to her youngest daughter!!!!! I mean WTF!!!
‼️The h is sleeping with 3 guys at one time.
Her husband, her lover, and her husbands best friend. Gross…. I DID NOT LIKE THAT SHE SLEPT WITH RYAN the best friend even if it was part of a plan. It’s cheating on her lover! Not cool and really gross.
‼️The revenge was soooo extreme (which I can get down with) but I’m not sure the h had brought a lot onto herself by staying w the douche it’s as much her fault.
‼️Nothing is as it seems which normally I would like but this was so poorly executed it just didn’t work.
‼️I didn’t care enough about anyone in this story to root for them. Maybe the kids and I think I liked her lover but we don’t see enough of him to care about him.

This was fun and kept me entertained.
I loved all the twists.
In my opinion, the revenge wasn't enough.

Jaw dropping, page turner, twist after twist. Just when you thought you had it figured out 👋 right to the face!!!! This book has laugh out loud moments, it had bitter sweet revenge and it has moments that have you rooting for each characters. This book will have you looking at things differently especially grapefruits 😂. During the first half of the book it had me rooting for Bree the mother of three, wife to Elijah. Elijah is a self centered narcissist jerk throughout the majority of this book. Often times I found myself talking to the book telling Bree to put the trash on the curb. There is love, revenge, sadness, betrayal, and lots of action throughout this book. The ending though I almost felt bad for Elijah but at the same time as the old saying goes “Mess with the bull you get the horns” and Bree is definitely a bull. Highly recommend this book, I couldn’t put it down and when I did put it down I was thinking about it and constantly sneaking reading time. Sorry laundry basket and household duties you’re on deferrment. 😂 10/10 ✨

I didn't know what to expect from the story when I started reading. Someone recommended it in a Facebook group I added it to the reading list.
I was hooked from the beginning and intrigued about the direction the story would take.
Very interesting and refreshing.

I enjoyed this! Bree’s picture needs to be next to the definition of “revenge”. She had to have one of the best poker faces ever. Letting things play out. Letting people play in her face when she already knew what type of time they were on.
If you don’t like cheating tropes, skip this one. Bree’s husband Elijah was out here doing her dirty but she got the last laugh 😈 there were some twists and turns. Nothing was as it seemed.

I don’t really know how to rate this. It was okay. It’s absolutely NOT a romance, which is what I always look for in my books. It’s NOT a thriller because NOTHING happens on page. This book was recommended in one of my FB cheating book groups and it looked interesting so I bought it.
I was bored. The mystery of the software was solved rather stupidly in chapter five. The rest of the book is of two confrontations with the cheating husband and one confrontation with one of the affair partners but who is also the FMC’s cousin. And lastly the reveal of the true MMC. We only see him twice in the whole book. Which just sucked for me.
I would have liked this book if the actual murder had taken place on page. But it doesn’t. It would have been better if we knew if the OW ever got a comeuppance. But we don’t. She just runs off afraid and that’s the last we hear of her. We don’t get the cheating husband’s POV of finally realizing the error of his ways. We don’t even really see the FMC with her HEA. She says she broke her husband when he really did start crying at the end but I don’t feel that as a reader I saw anything of the kind.
All I read was a man at a bad point realize that he was now alone. Implications made but he could easily discount it as its only implications. Not actual proof of anything. And then the book ends.
I feel very unsatisfied with the story. So many elements were missing for my enjoyment of this storyline. No romance, cheating by the FMC with more than one man, which included the MMC. I don’t feel like the MMC was anything more than a rich old man who worked his way into a situation with the FMC, and now she calls it love four years later. It just left me hanging on the emotional aspect. The FMC was extremely detached from all the characters in the book except her kids, which were the only good parts of the story.
In my book group they compared this story to Jordan Silver’s ex’s series or any of her recent books with revenge on cheaters, but this book is so lame and really doesn’t meet JS’s level of romance or vengeance. It’s not in the same league.
Either way, I won’t read this again. It reads like journal entries but after the fact. I found it boring and it had nothing for me to get invested it. It’s a short read when you can skim nearly all of it to get to any pertinent information. It’s the first book of this author’s I’ve read and it didn’t leave a lasting impression. Good luck.

BABBYYYYYYY this mfn book right here, this revenge plot was POETRY‼️ I absolutely loved it! My girl Bree did her big one. She said leaving who after 14 years and you think you’re taking what with you?!?!? This man’s cheating wasn’t even the big deal yall I swear. Put his picture next to “AINT SHIT” in the dictionary and put Bree’s photo next to “GOT ‘EM” 😂😂😂😂😂 she got his mfn ass so good. BROKE HIM DOWN to the ground. This book kept me glued to the pages. Every chapter had me reaching for popcorn that wasn’t there. I am about tell everyone about this book at work today, everyone needs to read it.
I read this as an ebook but I loved it so much I will be buying a physical copy for my shelf. Nicki Grace YOU DID THAT 🤌🏽

From the very moment I started this book, I knew I would love it.
Bree is a wonderful character, with a strength and determination that I have come to expect from an FMC in Nicki's books.
With a strong support system, nothing will stop a woman on a mission, and boy is this woman on a mission.
I cannot tell you how often I picked up my jaw off the floor, but suffice to say, it happened enough that I had to put a pillow down to cushion the fall after the first few.
There is simply no putting this book down, I read it in one sitting and am already adding it to my repeat folder, no matter that I know what is going to happen, it's like a great movie, you just gotta watch it again to pick up on all the subtle hints you realized you missed in the first go round.
Nicki has outdone herself with this one and I absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a revenge story with a little comic relief thrown in for good measure.
Absolutely brilliant.

Re entering served well
He er trust a women scorned. Brew had put up with so much from her husband. It's amazing she didn't seek her revenge years prior. Elijah and Ryan were not good people to want to sell what she created. Guess they found out. I would have like to see an Epilogue with this book though.

This book was so intriguing! Men often underestimate their woman, but that never works out in their favor. Bree was not to be played with! Every move was so carefully executed that I felt like I was watching a movie. Great thrilling read!

Bree is the perfect example of “hell hath no fury like a scorned woman” This book was even better than I was expecting! When I thought we were going to go left we took a hard right. And remember “if the devil came knocking, you wouldn’t let him in unless he looked like a friend”

This was a fun ride. Bree wanted revenge and she got it! I won’t say much about the plot to not spoil anything.
Bree had a well thought out plan and she is not playing games. I don’t normally condone some of Bree’s actions in my usual reads but somehow it kind of worked here. There were enough twists to make what I thought was a pretty straight forward premise into something more.
None of the characters are described very well, which can be annoying but didn’t really bother me too much here as it gives the reader the chance to envision each character however they want them to look.

Listen! My jaw dropped so many times I don't know if I can ever pick it up again. Every time I thought I figured out what was going on, the story twisted again. The true definition of when a woman's fed up. A woman that is highly intelligent, patient and pissed the hell off! You're going to love Bree!
You will not be disappointed. It's definitely going to take you on an EXTREMELY wild ride but the ending is so sweet! Once you start this book you are not going to want to put it down so clear a few hours of your schedule!

Haha I didn’t realize this wasn’t romance which is what I normally read but holy heck it was worth the mistake.
You think going in you know all… plan to be soooo shocked. As secrets are revealed, all I could do was try to read faster. This is a revenge story on steroids. I can’t get over how twisted it got and what is even scarier, I LOVED IT. Yikes.
Yes I definitely recommend this book. I am not talking about the details of the story cause you need to go in blind. Eek. All I will say is, it was a fast, intense read that kept me hungry for me.

I had expected this book to be a different based on the description but I still actually enjoyed this story. There were twisty parts of the plot and parts where you’re cheering Bree on which I enjoyed and kept me entertained. I’m not sure I’d deem it a thriller just more psychological warfare for the characters. I was invested in the story from the beginning and didn’t want to stop reading until the end. This was a good “karmas going to get you…if karma is your wife” kinda book. If only every woman ever cheated on could have this type of revenge!!

By far in my top favorite of 2025! Juicy drama, fast past, twist & turns! Jaw dropped like 5 times. Every time you think you knew something you didn’t. Thoroughly enjoyed this book and will recommend this for a while!

Overall this was fun! The writing wasn’t my fave, but I still had a good time. And listen… HONEY… there is nothing scarier than a woman scorned without a prenuptial agreement. That’s not revenge, that’s a lifetime original movie waiting to happen. 😭📚🔥

I wish they had half stars because this is 3.5. The writing isn't great, but I flew through this book in two days. Easy to digest and the twists and turns kept me interested enough. What a fantasy to be able to do something like this to a partner that wronged you!
