I loved this book, when I was reading the hours flew by because I was so immersed in this story! This is not your typical sweet omegaverse story, this omega is bloodthirsty. Some of the tropes in this book are why choose, swords crossing, age gap, arranged marriage, revenge, fated mates, and hidden identity. It was nice watching the FMC become a badass. She went from being treated like glass to standing on her own two feet. The men in this book were drool-worthy and used a lot of nicknames: Princess, Kitten, Sunshine, Sweetie, Sweetheart, Precious, Pup, Biscuit, and Baby. Most of the time the nicknames were being used when things were getting🔥. It was refreshing to read an omegaverse where the MMCs are fully supportive of the FMC regardless of her status.
Now I am all for books with smut but when the first 10-15 pages started with smut I was a little worried that there wasn't going to be much plot. I can safely say I had nothing to worry about because within the first 5% of the book the author hits us with trauma. I put my book down and paced for 20 minutes after reading the trauma part. I stayed up till 4 am reading until I couldn't read anymore because I was that invested in the book. I had so many theories during this book and surprisingly most of my theories were correct.
The book ends on a cliffhanger but the author being the amazing individual they are had a note before the cliffhanger so you could decide whether or not you wanted to read the cliffhanger or wait until the next book releases. I chose to wait to read the cliffhanger until the next book releases because I am very impatient and will drive myself crazy trying to figure it out.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes their why choose books with a side of vengeance.

I enjoyed the beginning, I liked the concept but the execution I was bored. I felt like instead of it being Nepheline and her journey of revenge it was about the Alpha and is other Alpha mates doing spicy things. I can also tell this author must enjoy writing MM more because of the details in the spice and relationships. However this book is supposed to about the Fmc getting her revenge and it just wasn't. I really enjoyed Nepheline's chapters I think that's why I read so much of this book. But it was like every time anything interesting was happening with the fmc we would be back Mateo and his other Alphas getting it on. I absolutely love MM but not when it's supposed to an RH and it's called OMEGA'S REVENGE! But most of the book doesn't even involve her!

I loved it! The amount of absolute betrayal all around them is astounding. This book kept me on my toes the whole time. We literally have no idea who we can trust! There was so much action throughout the whole book that I devoured it within a day. I can’t wait to see what happens with Nepheline and her guys in the next book!

I completely loved this book! It sucked me right in from the beginning!
The story is amazing! The characters are all so unique and at the same time relatable.
One thing I love about N. Slater’s books is that everything means something. All the side characters (or people you think are side characters) and small storylines are integral to the main story. What I mean is.. you need to pay attention when reading. Something that seems so minuscule might just be the biggest plot twist ever later on. It’s intense and captivating.
So many secrets and plot twists were already revealed in this book and I’m itching to get my hands on the next one already! I NEED to know what happens next!!

Omega's Revenge is the first book in the Trials of an Omega series. This does end with an HFN and a mild cliffhanger.
This was absolutely incredible! From the very beginning, I was immediately hooked on this story. Nepheline is such a likeable character. Add in 4 hot shifters, yes ma'am! Mateo, River, Remi, & Asani were also droolworthy and absolutely delicious. It was a bit of a long book, but the plot, the worldbuilding, the chemistry and complexity between (and of) each character, made this book absolutely bingeable. Definitely looking forward to reading the next book!

Seriously so amazing!
I absolutely loved the entire plot of this book! I love the main characters just as much. It is filled with twists and turns, lies uncovered, spice, and pure magic unfolding on a page. I could not put it down because I absolutely needed to know what was going to happen next. N. Slater has an incredible talent for writing because I am addicted. I can not wait for book #2 and what it will reveal.

I had the privilege of receiving an arc copy of this book to read prior to the release date, so first of all, a thank you to N. Slater for the opportunity!
This is the first shifter book I have ever read, as I don't read too much in the paranormal romance genre, however I really enjoyed this read and can't wait to read the next installment!
Nepheline's story kept me intrigued throughout the entirety of the book and I loved seeing her grow as a character. If you've never read a paranormal romance before, or like me, have never read a shifter book before, I highly recommend giving this book a try. Or if you have read paranormal romance before and like a hefty dose of plot along with your smut, then this book is definitely for you!
The first half of the book primarily focuses on plot development. Although, some of the characters decisions and some of the plot points are a little predictable at times, this book still held my attention to the end. I also really enjoyed having perspectives from all the main characters as it gave the reader more insight and allowed for further development of relationships between the main characters.
Lastly, I know that we're supposed to hate him because he's truly just a straight up piece of garbage, but I want to throw Flynn into a trash compactor and stomp on him for good measure.

The amount of absolute betrayal in this book is WILD.
If you have read any of Nic's books before, you know you are in for an absolute ride. You also know that whatever you THINK is a plot hole, is just another way for her to twist you up and spin the story on it's ear.

Omg! I don’t know what I was expecting, but this was not it 😅🥵🫣
Once I started reading, I could not stop! When I say I devoured this book, I de-freaking-voured it like I wish Mateo would me 🥵
Nepheline was being escorted to her mating ceremony with Mateo, when her pack and others were brutally ambushed and left for dead. Now she has no idea who to believe, or no where to live.
Mateo knew something was wrong and when he realized the pack and his father were dead with no sign of his mate, he ran to the parkland she was from, finding her body.
My heart broke!! While Nepheline is searching for the alpha that took her family from her, Mateo is trying to find justice for the death of his mate and his father. Add in the fact that not only were they both heartbroken and confused, Remi and River who are Mateo’s guard can feel the loss. They knew that Nepheline belonged to them as well.
I cannot wait for the revenge that is coming. Nepheline deserves to have her mates and her happiness.

An emotional rollercoaster of a story! It started out fun, and was then really sad. I went back and forth with emotions throughout, including frustration. Some characters were just frustrating. And infuriating.
Nepheline was fun and interesting, and I liked her! She goes through a crazy amount in this book, but she's tough and I admired that. She did whatever she could to make it through.
The guys? They were strong in their own ways, sweet and devoted to each other. They just needed their omega!
There's plenty of untrustworthy people within these packs, many secrets and schemes going on, and I enjoyed reading as different parts were uncovered.
This was a long story, but I liked it all. I am so looking forward to book 2! Can't wait.

OMG freaking amazing
This is the best omega verse romance I have read in a very long time
You get shifters and non-shifters some mystery a lot of suspense and action a lot of betrayal no one knows who they can trust you have to wait a bit for them all to be together but it is so worth the wait and the M/M action before then is great and one of the guys like the others they each have their own unique personalities and they don't try and trap her or cater or make her be like a Omega is supposed to be according to everyone else they want her to be herself it's just f****** awesome

I initially found the beginning a bit rushed, which made it feel like important information was missing. However, as I read on, I became more engaged with the storyline and characters. The focus on romantic interactions between the main characters, while enjoyable, seemed to overshadow the revenge plot, which I had hoped would be more central. Despite that, the book contained a good mix of excitement and a beautiful love story. I was so engrossed that I ended up staying up all night to finish it. I definitely look forward to continuing the series to see where the author takes the story.

Omegaverse&Shifter/RH 5 Alphas & 1 Omega/Fated Mates/ Multi PoV
SYNOPSIS (Book 1 of Trilogy):The story seems to be set in a world which is a combination of omegaverse and wolf shifter. The FC, Neophene, is an omega due to be married to the son of a neighbouring pack alpha. When on her way to her wedding her pack is massacred and she is left as the sole survivor. Driven by the strong desire for revenge she hides out in the city where she meets an alpha shifter doctor who turns out to be her fated mate. Whilst there she is given a serum that turns her into a partial alpha (stronger and less omega smell). The rest of the book revolves around how the FC goes about tracking down the alphas responsible for her pack’s massacre, finds her other mates, reconnects with her finance and how her fiancé discovers the rot within his pack linked to the massacre.
HEAT LEVEL: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆 This is one of those books that is somewhere around 75% sex. Pages and pages of graphic sex literally from page 1. You know when the first page you read refers to the fact that the FC decided to marry the MC because of his huge c@*k what you are in for (I should have stopped there 🤦♀️). The sex is group, lots of MM with 4 of the MCs in MM relationships with each other, and a bit of F/M. All very graphic and goes on for pages with BDSM themes.
I hate to say this but this was just terrible. I was heavily skimming by the end and certainly won’t be reading the next book. Even if you are OK with the fact there is more porn than story the story that exists is all over the place, is repetitive and makes little sense. even from the (very basic) world building it is unclear whether we are in a world which is omegaverse or shifter. It seemed to be some weird, unexplained amalgam of the two with few of the usual “rules” applying. I think the author was trying to be clever with how she exposed information around what was happening but it made little sense a lot of the time and was full of holes. The FC is an idiot who decides that taking drugs is the best approach to revenge and then comes up with the wonderful plan of going around literally try to sniff out those responsible for her packs deaths and randomly attacking individuals when she finds them. The MC is not particularly likeable and he and all of the FC’s other mates seem far more interested in their relationships with the other MCs than with her. It’s all very odd and there is a distinct lack of cohesion or relationship building just lots of sex. It’s also one of those stories where there are too many frustrating and unrealistic situations such as the Beta who is the only other survivor from the FC’s pack who she keeps with her despite him obviously being a traitor and there being no reason for her to do so and the way the MC allows the so called council just to do what they want without fighting or talking back.
In summary, if you are looking for graphic porn which is heavy on the MM and not interested in romance or a story then go for it. However, this book and this author are definitely not for me 💁♀️

In just one glorious moment, the rare omega Nepheline had it all - her entire life mapped out before her like a decadent autumn feast - her betrothed, her upcoming marriage ritual, her happiness. Until an ambush on the way to her new life took it all away and turned it into a painful memory of what was meant to be. So this wasn't a typical candy flavoured omegaverse story. On the contrary, it was a story about finding the strength and determination to keep going when all the odds are against you, about the shocking awakening of your mind, spirit, and ability to survive, to wrap up the pain of losing your family and your future in one fell swoop and forge a new path - the path of vengeance. Because revenge is a dish best served cold! And Nepheline was determined to prove it. You don't wrong someone like her if you don't want to open the gates to Hell. It was a pleasure to read about her transformation, to follow the awakening of a truly strong character who wasn't content to let the limits and expectations of her designation stop her from achieving her ultimate goal of finding the culprit of the destruction and making him/they pay.
It wasn't just a wake-up call for Nepheline, but for her betrothed Mateo as well. In the chaos that followed the chilling events that upended the foundations of his life, an illusion was shattered to dust. An illusion about the pack he was raised and trained to lead - ugly truths and well concealed secrets started to resurface like poisonous mushrooms in a magical forest full of lies, betrayal and deception. The story not only contains an impressively strong emotional undercurrent, but so many twists, turns and unexpected revelations that it keeps you glued to the pages until the last.
And of course there was also a drop of sweetness and high octane heat level that hits like a freight train. Because even though Nepheline wasn't a typical omega, behind the though exterior and fierce fighting spirit, there was a soft, vulnerable center. Amidst the action and unfolding suspense, she still had to learn how to nest, how to bond her mates, how to trust again and just be her omega-self. And she had not only Mateo, but Remi, River and Asani. So much to explore and learn.

It wasn't just a wake-up call for Nepheline, but for her betrothed Mateo as well. In the chaos that followed the chilling events that upended the foundations of his life, an illusion was shattered to dust. An illusion about the pack he was raised and trained to lead - ugly truths and well concealed secrets started to resurface like poisonous mushrooms in a magical forest full of lies, betrayal and deception. The story not only contains an impressively strong emotional undercurrent, but so many twists, turns and unexpected revelations that it keeps you glued to the pages until the last.
And of course there was also a drop of sweetness and high octane heat level that hits like a freight train. Because even though Nepheline wasn't a typical omega, behind the though exterior and fierce fighting spirit, there was a soft, vulnerable center. Amidst the action and unfolding suspense, she still had to learn how to nest, how to bond her mates, how to trust again and just be her omega-self. And she had not only Mateo, but Remi, River and Asani. So much to explore and learn.

I adore that N Slater writes queer characters so well. The representation is fantastic and characters never have a self-hatred phase that I have seen in many other works.
After her entire pack minus one beta is killed en route to deliver her to her betrothed, the neighboring pack heir Mateo, Nepheline has 2 objectives. Kill the alpha that murdered her pack and find her mate in that order.
This story follows Nepheline's journey to find Mateo and the truth of why her pack was so ruthlessly murdered. Along her journey, she crosses paths with her mates. She recognizes them for what they are but she keeps her priorities the same silently promising herself and them that if she survives she'll be back for them. The ones who learn of her plans are all supportive despite their worries, refusing to stile her or cage her in.
With a dash of mad science, she just may get her chance at revenge but she knows she needs help. This serum is miraculous in that she can pose as an alpha out in the open with a change in scent and a new physical strength she lacked before but the serum is not meant for her biology. She ends up in the care of one of her fated mates Asani a doctor, and in the employ of another of her fated, Maverick.
After reuniting with Mateo, and meeting her other mates River and Remi, it is now up to them to uncover the secrets and truths as to why their lives have been upended.

Omegaverse how I missed you!
✨ Omega's Revenge by N. Slater ✨
I've read some omegaverse romance and there is something super sweet and spicy about them. I love absolutely everything about them from the fated mates trope, the designation dynamics of Alphas, Omegas and Betas. The nesting and heats and all the smell sensory overload. One thing that I have noticed in the reads that I have done is that they are more focus on the courting and wooing the Omegas and the pack dynamics and not very dark on triggers. Now this is my first ready from N. Slater and I can't even tell you how much I enjoyed this read. We get everything you will expect from the Omegaverse as well as really good MM scenes. Like they were SO GOOD! Even better was that they were all alphas and finding submission from some of them made it so freaking HOT. But the one thing that I enjoyed even more was how good the plot was. I usually get really good plots on fantasy reads but not much in Omega verse and that's usually because there is alot of world building in the story but I honestly was not expecting that on this one but I love the fact that it had it, also it had shifters as well which was one more thing that I absolutely loved.
Be aware that it ends on a cliffy and I really hope we dont have to wait long for book 2 🖤.

Omega Revenge Review – N Slater
It’s so much more than just omega verse/shifter romance. It’s mystery and suspense packed all into one. I had never read an Omega verse story that combined shifters and non-shifters. Never have I read a book where an omega was treated as an equal and was loved for her strong personality.
That’s the story Omega Revenge tells. Nepheline who is the FMC is strong-minded and already knows she is not like an ordinary Omega. She was not made to submit to Alphas but was made to stand beside them. What makes it even better is that she found her perfect Alpha who doesn’t want an Omega that perfectly submits but an Omega that will tell them off when they are doing something wrong. They want an Omega to walk beside them not behind.
There is M/M which I have no problem with at all and those scenes were hot. I love that every chapter didn’t include an erotic scene because then it would have taken away from the overall storyline, so that is a plus In my book. Because of that it only made the scenes so much hotter when you feel across them. The frustrating part about the story for me is how the scenes dragged on with Flynn the beta. It drove me nuts how she didn’t follow her instinct and that is always something that I dislike in a book, but that is the only negative thing I can say about it.

Hands down. If you don’t appreciate M/M scenes, then this is not for you, and I do advise you to read the trigger warnings. I also believe this story is about women's empowerment. Thanks to Nepheline and her determination to see her revenge herself and did not allow her designation to stop her.

This was mediocre writing at best. Lots of gaps, holes and leaps. Very slow start, I didn't really like any of the characters and started speed reading at 45%. This could have been 300 pages shorter of written more effectively.
The main problem I had with the book was how disjointed it was. You could definitely tell that three different authors were writing at the same time because there were just a lot of guesses and leaps and a lot of the time it felt like they expected us as the reader to understand the point that they were making when it made no sense at all.
Like for example omegas are supposed to be these submissive things that have a hard time standing up for themselves and readily try to please alphas, but then Mateo is upset that the omega chosen for him is overcome with heat and sleeps with someone else and that she doesn't "stand up to him".
Like that was literally the entire point of an omega! They don't stand up to you, they are slaves to their baser instincts and the alphas are meant to protect them.
Flynn also doesn't find out that our MC is a shifter until 70% through the book but he's been helping her with nesting, can smell her omega, etc etc. like that doesn't make any sense??? This entire book doesn't make sense and it's infuriating.
If you're here for the plot, turn away now. You won't get a great one. It has potential but was so confusing and really was unnecessary, you could tell it wasn't the authors main focus.
If you're here for spice then read on friend! There is plenty of it. If that's what you are here for then congratulations! You found a detailed one.

WOW! That is all I can say as I am writing this review. I DEVOURED this book like THE PACK devoured each other! (Once you read it, you will understand what I mean by this) This is the very first “smutty” book I have ever read, and I couldn’t be happier that it was this one. This was a book of all firsts for me! I need to back up to applaud the author for the best intricately woven plot I have read lately with so many plot twists that I never saw coming.
The one thing that I learned while reading this book is to pay attention to all the details and the characters. They all had a purpose, and all the details were important in some fashion or another. I fell in love with all the main characters (female/male tropes!) (Nepheline, Asani, Mateo, Remi, and River) I am not the type of person who likes to give spoilers. (Because going in blind is SO MUCH BETTER!) Just know you need to read this book! Go into it with an open mind and no prerequisites because they will not be what you think they will be. This book will provide you with everything you NEED and things you didn’t even KNOW you NEEDED for a good read! Every word/page/chapter kept me on the edge of my seat wanting more and more (like Nepheline) until I was done with the book. I had to space out my reading otherwise this would have been finished within 2 days. I am sad to see that the second book is shorter than the first but excited to dive right in! Give it a try and don’t be shy! YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED!

Honestly, the writing was okay. The story was filled with love and action, betrayal, redemption etc. all the regular tropes in a dark omegaverse. The biggest issue for me was that this was almost a mmmmm and not a mmmmf omegaverse. The blurb says it contains mm content but doesn’t detail how much. I don’t mind a little mm but the focus has to be on the FMC (for my tastes, I understand others don’t mind more mm focused books, but for me I need the FMC as the central focus) it was just TOO far away from a “real” omegaverse novel for me to enjoy it. There were waaaaay more mm and mmmm scenes then the ones with the FMC included, and when she was finally included in the scenes the focus was still way to mm and mmmmm focused for me to enjoy the book. I began reading this book thinking I’d get a strong spirited FMC with her fated mates, but instead got a book about mmmmm relationships with a dose of FMC omega. It wasn’t satisfying at all. Also, the story began to drag on, and considering there are two more books in the series it wasn’t necessary, the pacing was terrible. I won’t be reading the other books because I’m certain nothing will change in the dynamic If you’re interested or enjoy mm, and mmmmm alpha novel then you’ll probably enjoy this book. But if you want a REAL omegaverse, as in how omegaverse first “came to be” then this book will be vastly disappointing to you. I would not recommend this novel to anyone who doesn’t want to read extremely high spice mm and mmmmm books.

What a ride! This book was definitely on the longer side, but you know what? I did not feel it. The writing and intrigue kept me immersed and the pacing was good as well.
Omega’s Revenge follows the journey of Nepheline, our FMC, in her quest to avenge her family. On the night she is taken to her betrothed, Mateo, her party gets ambushed and killed and she is left as the sole survivor. I teared up at the scene where her brother protected her then slowly died in her arms. Yes, I did. Her Beta guard, Flynn, somehow finds her and carries her injured self to a clinic. There, she encounters a mate and a serum.
This world combines the elements of wolf shifter and omegaverse sub-genres, making for a very interesting dynamic. It gives it a much more primal feel and I love it. The plot, characters and smut are well woven together. With the multiple POVs, we get to know her Alphas and their distinctive personalities, along with their personal struggles. I appreciate that a lot. My favourite is Asani sighs wistfully And the spice? A real buffet 🥵
There are many mysteries to uncover and the book ends on a mild cliffhanger, leaving you with a new question. I cannot wait for book 2!

PNR, wolf shifters, rh, fated mates?, magic? This first in a series is intelligently written and well edited. However, it drags out quite a bit in the middle section. Our heroine is an wolf shifter omega princess who has happily been promised to the neighboring Alpha heir. Against protocol, she has secretly been seeing him for the last year and they are both excited to bring their relationship public now that tradition allows. However, in a devastating massacre her entire pack and the Alpha of her future pack are murdered in an ambush. Her brother saves her life while dying and her gentle, but mischievous soul becomes focused on revenge. Injured and on the run she tries to figure out who killed her pack. Emotionally vulnerable, while getting care for her wound at a shifter clinic a nefarious doctor tricks her into accepting an experimental drug that adds alpha powers to her omega body. This volume describes her mate's trauma over her apparent loss and his relationships with his male partners; and her dealing with the drug's effects, and trying to determine friend, foe or mate. The story has a lot of mm relationships, so be aware. She doesn't meet back up with her love until about 70%. Then the story picks back up. Things begin to make sense towards the end leading to my desire to continue.

Omega’s Revenge is easily one of my favorite reads of the year. The characters are relatable and well developed throughout the entire story. The chemistry between all of them was on point. The complexity of the dynamics within the plot provided mystery, suspense, and plenty of action. It had the perfect balance of plot and spice, action and romance, loyalty and betrayal. The story keeps you on your toes. You don’t know who you can trust, and it keeps you guessing till very end. The spice in this book is top notch, chef’s kiss, and delicious as pie!! From chapter one N. Slater brings the heat and it stays hot as heck all throughout. The relationship development between the main characters is exquisite as they meet and fall for each other. It has a lot of MM scenes and when Nepheline joins it becomes scorching hot. Another thing I loved is the portrayal of the female main character. Typically omegas tend to be these meeker, weaker creatures due to their biology and designation but the portrayal of Nepheline as a strong woman who won’t let her biology or designation dictate how she lives was perfection. All in all, a great story that I can’t recommend enough! Can’t wait for Book 2!!!

I enjoyed getting to watch Nepheline's character progress, along with her relationships with each of the MMCs. They fit together so well and make a great found family. Nepheline went through so much devastating events and still kept fighting. There was so much betrayal, suspense, heartbreak and spice. I thought the characters were well developed and were relatable. We get the perspectives from Nepheline and the 4 other MMCs: Mateo, River, Remi, and Asani. I thought each of the men had their own unique stories that helped them to stand out from one another. This is my first book by this author and I think this is an incredible start to a series.
It does end on a cliffhanger, but in my opinion its not too bad of one.

Omega's Revenge by n. Slater this book was so thrilling emotionally charged great character development great story development has Omega and Alpha Dynamics pack dynamic from the first Pages you get sucked into the story plot I definitely could not put this book down once I started I was so invested and the female character and her journey towards retribution for what took place in the first couple of scenes when you read this book no spoilers here but there are definitely some tearful moments while reading this book . Thefemale Omega is badass she definitely knows how to take care of herself I'm definitely looking forward to reading book two this book does leave off on a cliffhanger and it was an awesome Cliffhanger so I can't wait to see what book two in the series is going to reveal next.
