Maria Delgado is fully prepared to turn her new inn into the holiday wonderland she’s always dreamed of.
Good thing she has a month before Christmas to fix it up, toss up every single decoration imaginable, and restore it to its former glory as Love Springs prime meeting place, right?
Except one very grumpy bartender who owns the bar down the block is seriously trying to ruin her festive vibe.
Jameson McAllister hates everything about Christmas. The absolute last thing he wants to deal with is the walking winter wonderland who just moved in down the street.
So when Maria insists she’s going to be the one to finally convince him how magical Christmas can be, well…
If she keeps wearing those short red skirts into his bar, maybe?
(Probably not, though.)
What if she keeps bringing him plates of Christmas-themed sugar cookies?
(Nope, but he’ll eat them angrily all the same.)
Seriously, what does a girl have to do to convince the grumpiest man in town to give Christmas (and her) a chance?
Ginger Hudson loves writing fun and cozy small town romance with a grumpy hero and sunshine heroine. Her books are meant to make you smile and leave you always satisfied with a beautiful happily ever after ending.
She lives with her occasionally grumpy husband and their cat, Ed, who loves watching videos of chinchilla dust baths on YouTube. One of her favorite things to do is curl up on the couch with a good book, a cup of tea, and a cat in her lap.

When I first looked at the table of contents and saw 84 chapters, I wasn't too sure I wanted to invest that much time into this. Then as I went through the preview, and realized how short the chapters were, I decided to go for it. I am glad I did, because this is a sweet, yet completely OTT Christmas story. If you like to be inundated with all things Christmas, this is for you! This is an interesting mix of sweet and naughty, kind of like a Regency, but without all the pretentious titles. (Although, I am guessing the author is a Pride and Prejudice fan based on a couple lines of dialogue.) There is Mr. Grumpy Pants, aka Jameson, who is a total grump on the outside with a sweet, hidden center. Maria, the lead female, is the perfect opposite to Jameson. She is extremely naïve, idealistic, and completely lacking in common sense. However, she is very much a glass half-full person, especially when it comes to the holidays. I do have a few questions though, like where is she getting all the money she keeps spending on decorations and food, and does she actually do any renovations besides putting up Christmas decorations? In the first few chapters it talks about the inn being in a state of neglect and needing enough love that none of the other relatives wanted to take it on. Yet, it doesn't touch on any repair except for a leaky sink. The first thing she does, before she even dusts off the mantle, is hang Christmas lights. There is no mention of her doing any marketing either, yet she has guests scheduled for after the New Year. It definitely makes me believe in the magic of Christmas. If you like OTT Christmas romances this fits the bill. 3.5 stars

This is the 3rd book in the Small Town Romance In Love Springs series featuring the cute small-town grumpy/sunshine, holiday romance between Jameson and Maria. Maria has just moved to Love Springs after inheriting a B&B inn there and she has big plans for restoring it to it's former glory. Maria loves Christmas and when she meets Jameson who doesn't like Christmas the sparks really fly. Maria is convinced that she can change Jameson's mind and get him to like Christmas and she sets out to do just that. Will she succeed? You need to read this cute small-town, grumpy/sunshine, holiday romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

A Lovely and Steamy Christmas. The author has written a great small town Christmas love story with the polar opposite protagonists Maria and Jameson being given the perfect location and season to fall in love…quickly. And in the true spirit of the season there are no antagonists, unless you count on the blizzard that rips through town. At least it allows Jameson to prove his worth to Maria. This book is a pretty quick read (despite the number of chapters) and I’m definitely recommending it for your holiday/winter reading list. PEACE.

This was pretty cute. The characters, especially Jameson felt a bit under developed. I had a hard time with the grumpy sunshine because they just felt a bit silly. But it was still a cute little holiday story so I'm rounding up.
The formatting was a bit of to me as well. It's short, but has almost 90 chapters. Each one is two or three pages. It made the story feel a little broken up to me and I missed having a more natural flow.
Cute holiday romance, liked the characters and the good Maria was trying to install in the small town with Jameson. Felt the story could have used a bit more development, as some of the chapters could have been combined, as it made the story seem so much longer with them being so short it jumped from place to place, the flow was off.

The author has given us a wonderful Christmas Themed story that pulls us into the lives of Maria and Jameson. The story keeps us turning the pages with connection, denial, determination, insecurities and steam.

This rarely happens, but I stopped reading about 25% in. The writing is repetitive, sophomoric, and occasionally just bad. If the author is a teenager, then I apologize - good effort, keep honing your craft.
Was a ok read. It was a slow read for me. But didn't realize it was part of a series until I logged it in my tracker. I may try the series from the beginning and see what I think.
This is a wonderful story. Cute and sweet. Very entertaining. Great characters and fascinating storyline. Look forward to reading more from the author.
