Endingnya manis. :P Tapi overall oke koq. xD

(I feel the need to state that there are no brides in this book, accidental or otherwise.)

Clare meets Mark at a fancy dinner. He is captivated, but what he doesn't know is that she's trying to chase him down because she believes him to be the father of her sister's unborn child. Mark has his own secret though: he's trying to buy Clare's company out from under her, and he knows she won't be pleased when she finds out...

I had mixed feelings about this book. The first half I found utterly boring. The second half was quite charming - once Clare realised Mark wasn't the guy she was looking for, and she dropped the Lady Macbeth act, she was much easier to like and I quite enjoyed the romance between them.

However, there was just too much deception in this book for me - I couldn't keep up with the twists and turns. I like twists well enough in Intrigue books, but in this the twists arose out of poor communication and incorrect assumptions. Most of the people here made their own problems, and they could have been avoided if they'd just talked honestly with each other instead of playing games. Games irritate me, they're so high school, and that made me rate this lower than I otherwise might have. 2 - 2.5 stars.
