Deep in the Guatemalan rainforest, Hanna has joined her parents on their archaeological expedition to discover more about Maya civilisation. Ignoring her father’s warning to not go off exploring by herself, she follows a friendly animal who leads her to a mysterious pool of water. Hot and weary, she plunges in.

Emerging from the water, Hanna is shocked to find that everything around her has changed. What were ruins are now a beautiful, bustling Maya city. She forms an unlikely friendship with one of its residents, Sunny – but he needs her help. Can Hanna and Sunny save his city and its secrets before it’s too late?
