how in this day and age are we still presenting columbus as "our intrepid explorer" and talking about trade of fruit as though it was of mutual benefit for both and completely disregarding that columbus' "discovery" was actually a violent and genocidal invasion ?? 😭 I know it's a children's book but that doesn't mean it should be downplayed like this
