This is the very first title containing all available knowledge about the origins and history of traditional Reiki. Designed as a reference manual for teachers and trainers, it presents at the same time a comprehensive and practical introduction to Reiki.
Very thorough and enlightening. I appreciate the detailed step by step techniques outlined for beginner, intermediate or experienced practitioners. Loved.
Just another book on Reiki - that summarize the review, actually. The first books on Reiki by Frank Petter were great, because they focused on exploring the old ways of Reiki. These books helped the community regain some old practices and traditions. But the new book by Petter is no revolution - it's just "yet another book". It contains some fresh and new knowledge and insights, a lot of new information on history of Reiki, but in the end, it will be useful only for hardcore Reiki practitioners. Like those people who wish to become Reiki masters and teachers, researchers or people interested in social aspects of the practice and the Reiki community.
Thus, the book is more like yet another reference work for your bookshelf. It's not recommended for beginners or ordinary practitioners of the Reiki method, but only for "teacher wannabe" or hardcore Reiki practitioners.
This book is a must if you want to be up to date and know what is happening in the Reiki world. Arjava did a fantastic work, research, and so much more. For me it is a reference book and I will recommend it to my students.
I love this book. It's written so well and has everything you need to become a confident Reiki practitioner. It is full of Japanese Reiki history and personal stories. It's a book that you can pick up and read any time that makes you feel connected to the energy around us.
